Larry Jones felt like he was going to go insane. He checked the surveillance camera and there was no movement of Lily. He became confused. Was he dreaming and thought he really saw Lily? If he was dreaming, are all the servants in his house dreamers as well?
Lily was a ghost!! That's his final decision. She was indeed dead, no wonder she called herself a wanderer. She was a wandering soul. Oh so unfortunate of him that he had taken a ghost to a restaurant and even brought her to his house.
Perhaps that's why she claimed to have lost her memory! Oh he understands now. She doesn't know anything about her life when she was still human, that's why she couldn't return to the Cruz's family house to rest there.
He called the servants and told them that the woman he brought home the previous day was a ghost and nobody should enter that room anymore. The ghost was living there. He told them he would be staying in the hotel for the time being.
The servants started giving excuses. They are either sick and needed a break to go and get treated or they needed to pay a visit to their family.
Angrily, Larry Jones yelled at the cook " Didn't you tell me that you're an orphan? How can you claim you were going to see your family?" These servants can be so annoying. Is not like Lily's ghost would hurt them; she would just walk around the house sometimes and create awareness of her presence.
"Yes sir. Actually I didn't tell you this before, my late step father's grandmother had a niece who would be celebrating her 60th birthday this evening and I got invited"
Eyeing her, Larry Jones hissed. "You would stay and look after the house. If there's anything that tries to scare you, call the police at once" he instructed the gardener.
"Ah boss, please pardon my excuses. I've been experiencing internal heat for some couple of days now and I needed to see my doctor today and I would like to be admitted into the hospital for intensive care sir" the gardener put on a pitiful look.
This boss must be wicked. How can he expect them to stay in the house with a ghost and he claimed he would be staying in the hotel for the time being.
He would leave as soon as he left. If the ghost appeared and troubled him or strangled him, what could the police do about it? Are they going to arrest a ghost?
Larry Jones almost puked blood. These employees of his are chicken hearted. All because he wants to stay away from the house for fear of encountering Lily's ghost, they all were giving excuses. They have proven themselves not to be trusted.
That morning, Kayden Diego was having breakfast with the others, Ms Gracey and Justin. Lily had woken up a little late and taken her bath, applied a little make-up, and went downstairs for breakfast.
She remembered she's Kayden Diego's mate now and that sends butterflies to her belly. She wished she had Larry Jones cell phone number, she would have placed a call across to him. But how would she tell him she left? Thinking about it, she decided to let it go.
When she got downstairs, she said a good morning to everyone seated and wanted to take the seat next to Justin but Kayden Diego objected. "No, you sit here henceforth" he pointed to the seat next to his. The same seat Lily sat on her first breakfast with Kayden and Justin.
Immediately the others understood what was happening. Lily was Kayden Diego's mate. No wonder, he was ready to send them all to the dungeons if Lily was not found.
Obediently Lily came over and sat beside him. She was shy but pretended not to. She started eating. Kayden's mark was seen visibly on her neck and Ms Gracey's joy knew no bounds.
She was eager to tell her sister the good news. Lily was the chosen one by the moon goodness. How fortunate for them both to accept each other.
Justin was the most happy. Finally, his boss was going to be a normal Man again. The depression caused by his ex mate and the consequences of it had gone. Kayden Diego would return to his old self again.
The latter ignored whatever the duo would be thinking about himself and Lily at that moment. Lily was his mate and he had found her. If they know, fine and if they don't, he doesn't owe anyone an explanation.
"I was wondering if you would permit me to visit our World" Ms Gracey was seeking for a leave. She wants to go to the werewolf world.
"Are you just missing home or do you have something to tell my mother?" Kayden Diego asked, raising his head and stared at her.
Ms Gracey was speechless.
She doesn't know what to say next. Of course she was going to announce their new future lordess to the werewolf clan and she'll start by informing her sister first.
Ms Gracey bowed her head and couldn't answer his question. Justin was secretly throwing glances at his lord and future lordess. They make a beautiful pair. At last lord Kayden accepted a mate.
Kayden was thinking of visiting his parents and seeing how the entire werewolf clan were faring. He would leave soon and would want Lily to come along. Lily needs to see the werewolf healer to find a cure to her incessant nightmares.
"I was going to tell you that Linda and I are getting married next month. I had to tell you first, lord" Justin broke the silence. He had talked at length with Linda on the phone and they had agreed to fix their wedding next month.
"That would be great. It would be fine to have a werewolf wedding. Just get the marriage certificate at the bureau and come over to the werewolf world for a real celebration" Kayden Diego suggested. He was wondering what the duo had been waiting for all these years.
"As your lordship pleases" Justin answered submissively. "Congratulations Justin" Ms Gracey chimed.
Lily smiled and congratulated him as well. Justin was a great guy and had accepted her flaws those few times they had spent together. He was going to make a great husband.
"Thank you future lordess" Justin said and bowed slightly. Lily was caught unawares by Justin's address to her as lordess. Had she suddenly become a future lordess?
"I'll be leaving to our werewolf world today and you both are free to decide if you choose to go as well. Lily, meet me in the study when you are done having your breakfast"Kayden announced and stood up.
As soon as Kayden left, Ms Gracey smiled at Lily. She will be their lordess but she will also be her aunt. She can't wait to see them both get officially mated.
"Why did you leave the house yesterday Lily? You almost made Kayden go crazy. He took an emergency flight to Z-country from Singapore. If you hadn't been found, I am sure by this time, all the employees in this house including myself would have been languishing in the dungeon" Ms Gracey went further by telling her how restless her nephew was.
Lily could hardly believe her ears. Kayden Diego was so concerned about her? Had He known already that she was his mate? Did he love her that much? She apologized to Ms Gracey and promised she was never going to do that again.
Ms Gracey told her that even if she decides to do it again, she'll never be able to because she's become the lord's mate.
Both Justin and Ms Gracey congratulated Lily and called her their future lordess. Ms Gracey excused herself saying she was going to go to the werewolf world before her nephew arrived.
Soon, Lily was done with her breakfast and went towards Kayden's study. The latter was eagerly waiting for her. Just last night, after leaving Lily's room, he couldn't explain such an indescribable love that flooded his heart. Is it so easy to fall in love?
As her scent drew closer, he knew she was close to the study. Lily only knocks once but the thick masculine voice told her to come in. She gently opened the door and went in.
Kayden Diego was going through a file when she walked in. She shut the door behind her and stood totally admiring the large study room. Kayden Diego closed the file and shoved it aside before looking up at her and their eyes locked.
He had the same feeling he had when their eyes first locked but the difference was that, then he didn't understand the message her eyes sent but now he perfectly does.
"Come over here" He ordered and Lily went to him. Pulling her, he made her seat on his thighs. An action that Lily found herself unable to believe.
After what Ms Gracey said a while ago, she already believed that he loved her. Hence she did not panic or fidget when he made her sit on his thighs.
"I am leaving for the werewolf world and I want you to come with me. Being a new member of the pack and the future lordess, it will be good if you'll come along" Kayden coaxed her.
"I'll go with you," Lily declared without a second thought. Kayden was thrilled and told her they would leave soon. He gave her shoulder a soft squeeze. He asked her if she had trouble sleeping in the early hours of the day again and the latter said no.
He further told her that they were going to find a cure to her incessant nightmares once and for all when they get to their world. Before letting her stand up his thighs, he kissed her lips briefly and asked her if she was ready to go now?
