Kayden Diego stretched his hand and touched Lily's chin. The latter was uncomfortable with the way Kayden Diego stared at her and her mother in law. Is anything wrong?
"When you are done, you can come over for breakfast dear" , the Royal mother said and quickly left. Kayden moved closer to her and held her body against his.
That day he went to see the wise one alone, he had asked what would be the sign that the power had been tamed and he said the color of her eyes will change. If it changed to black, the colour of the werewolf eyes, then she's safe, but if purple then she's still having other powers that have not been tamed and hence she must not step out.
He had to keep mating with her until everything became normal. He had taken her several times and was even worried about hurting her. How was he supposed to know she has so much power?
"Is anything the Matter?"Lily asked. She knew Kayden had suddenly been looking weird. His mother also left in an unsatisfied manner.
"Nothing is wrong sweetheart. Except that I just got married and doesn't seem like I have gotten enough of you yet" Kissing the nooks of her neck, he trailed his fingers through her body and Lily shivered.
" Looks like my wife needs me as well. Anyways, take that tea and lay on the bed, I will be back" Kayden instructed and left quickly bolting the door with a lock.
As soon as he bolted the door, he placed his back on the wall and sighed. Gush!! What if she had stepped out unknowingly? All his efforts would have gone to waste. That night will be the deadline. He had to get busy with her and fully subdue her before nightfall.
He went straight to the Royal kitchen. He ordered the cook to prepare and assign meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have it delivered to his quarters as soon as possible.
Royal mother was really troubled and didn't know what to ascribe the purple eye color to. She hurriedly went to her husband and reported what she saw. Panicking, she told him that Lily had really looked mysterious in those eyes.
Kayden stopped by at his parents quarters to tell them he doesn't want to be disturbed that day when his parents asked him what had happened, why is Lily's eyes like that? "She's not been fully tamed" was the simple answer he gave. Quickly different dishes had been arranged into a basket and taken to his quarters.
When Kayden was about to leave, his father called him and told him privately not to pity her but rather have her completely tamed if he truly loves her.
Kayden called Justin and told him to attend to matters. He's not sure to be out of his chambers before dawn the next day.
Kayden personally took the food into their bedroom and bolted the door. When he entered, Lily's eyes were going deeper in purple. She was already looking different. She had changed into a loose gown and just sat down on the bed.
Kayden Diego made her seat on the sofa and changed the bedspread. He told her to take some breakfast and they ate together.
By the time Kayden let her go a few hours later, she just sprawled on the bed unable to move herself. Kayden felt really exhausted himself. What sort of power was Lily carrying that it was so difficult to tame?
He turned her to face him and saw the color had greatly diminished. One more time, he's sure she'll be fine.
"That's enough for you Kayden" Lily pushed him off.
"It's not enough," Kayden replied.
"It's enough for you" Lily snapped at him
"It's not enough, I want more,"Kayden retorted.
"It's enough"
"It's not enough"
"You're a beast Kayden!"
"Yes. The lord of them"
Soon Kayden Diego pulled her under him again.
Next morning, Kayden emerged out of the room, Lily couldn't even raise a hand completely out of strength. Kayden Diego looked fatigued but was still able to go about normally. He asked Justin how the full moon rampage was?
Many of their pack members who are in the human world often return to the clan because of the full moon. He refused to change into his wolf form but really exhibited a beast character on Lily. He knew it but couldn't help it.
He was having his breakfast when a servant came to inform him that there's an intruder that has been arrested. He had killed four of the patrol border wolves but luckily, he had been arrested.
Standing up he left angrily. He had lost four men to a single intruder? That intruder would experience a fate worse than death.
Lily groggily opened her eyes. She felt very exhausted and worn out. She dragged herself into the bathroom, after a warm bath which helped to ease her pains, she stepped out. But as soon as stepped out of the bathroom, she felt perfectly fine.
She dried her hair and looked into the wardrobe. There are different clothes of the highest grades and quality in the closet. She wondered when those clothes were brought and from where? She looked and got confused on which one to select. After much confusion, she settled on one of them.
Dressed in a beautiful Maroon gown, she styled her hair into a bun. Applied a pink lipstick and stepped out.
As soon as she stepped out, she was greeted by numerous maids in the house. They bowed before her lordess. They were stunned and practically held their breaths at the sight of her.
Royal mother delegated some personal maids to Lily who are going to be with her always and run her errands. They stepped forward and requested that her majesty come along with them at the instructions of the Royal mother.
Lily went along with two of her maids behind and two in front of her. They soon got to royal parents quarters and Lily bowed "Greetings to royal father and to her majesty" bowing slightly.
"Good morning Lily". " Hello dear daughter" Kayden's parents answered respectively and instructed her to take a seat. She bowed again before taking her seat at the one end which she felt next to Kayden's royal seat.
They had their breakfast together quietly. Lily hadn't seen Kayden but didn't ask either. She knew he was in the palace somewhere because she could feel his presence.
Kayden's parents paid attention to her eyes and they saw it was typical of a werewolf not purplish like Royal mother reportedly saw the previous day.
When they saw she was ok, they were glad and knew that finally Kayden did not disappoint them. They wished that her belly would soon start growing Kayden's heir.
As soon as the royal father finished eating, he stood up and excused himself. He knew the royal mother would have a lot to discuss with her daughter in-law and he had to excuse them.
When they both finished their breakfast, Royal mother asked if she's feeling ok and Lily answered in the affirmative.
Royal mother told her they should walk around and they took a stroll. But as they passed by the Royal hall, they started hearing noises.
Royal mother and Lily came closer and saw Kayden seated on his throne. He looked domineering and emits a compressed aura.
His eyes were red and looking at a man that appeared to be thirty years of age, sitting on the floor. He was tied with a chain, and knelt before him. He was staring at him with a piercing look like a prey that has been scrutinized by its predator.
His eyes were emitting red like a volcano. Justin was seated below him with his arms folded.
Lily was a little frightened. She wondered if the person on that high seated throne was her husband Kayden Diego. The one that tortured her all day and all night. Does he have such a frightening look when displeased?
Royal mother can't help but be a little frightened herself. Sometimes when she sees this Son of hers in his personality as the alpha she feels a cold shiver.
"I will ask you for the last time, who sent you into my borders?" Kayden thundered.
"I am sorry Lord, like I told you before, I wandered into this territory. It wasn't a premeditated idea" the man was pleading. His hair was disheveled, his body seemed to have been plastered with mud and there was dry blood from the side of his lips.
"You came into my territory, crossed my borders and killed four of my soldiers and you said you wandered in? Do you think I am so daft to believe your rantings" Kayden inquired.
If he was so easily fooled, he wouldn't have been sitting on the throne as the alpha.
"Please your highness forgive me this once, I will never come anywhere near your boundaries anymore" the man pleaded. He was sobbing and pleading.
"Since he would not spill the truth, lay him on the floor and ask one of our strongest warriors to flog him with 100 strokes of iron," Kayden declared . What Vampires feared so much is iron. It burns their skin.
"Please lord I don't want to die. Please spare me. I have a family who eagerly awaits my return" the man pleaded severally.
"You know the importance of family right, yet you didn't spare those soldiers? Do you think they have no family? Every werewolf in this pack is my family and the death of any one of them takes a piece of my heart away. If you care so much about your family, then tell me why I shouldn't care about mine?" Kayden Diego asked as his eyes were bloodshot.
The man in the chain started sobbing. The Vampire lord had assigned him a suicidal mission. To threaten him not to tell the truth, the Vampire lord took his wife and children into custody. If he dares to tell the werewolf lord the truth, his wife and children would be executed. To conceal the truth, he might lose his own life.
"Please believe me lord, I am telling the truth" the man was still pleading.
" He's lying!!!"
