Kayden lifted Lily off her feet and swirled her around. He planted light kisses on her face down to her neck before asking "You mean to tell me you didn't remember anything about your fighting with those Invaders back at the clan?".
Giggling, she replied "I don't remember a thing. The last thing I remembered was those men approaching me and I clenched a fist, ready to attack them. But after that, I don't know what happened again".
"Really?"Kayden asked but was not surprised. He already knows she doesn't remember anything about her fighting. He placed her down and circled his arms around her waist with his forehead touching hers.
"You're special to me Lily. And I can't imagine my life henceforth without you. I love you" He said and kissed her briefly before telling her to shower and rest. He has some work to catch up with in his study.
Linda almost worried herself to death. She was afraid, what if the battle went against them? What would happen to Justin and the rest of the Middleton pack?.
She wanted to accompany Justin to the werewolf clan, but he told her she's better off being in the human world for now than coming along to be a burden on him. And besides, she's not a warrior. She can't even defend herself let alone be a support to him or anyone else.
She stayed all day praying nothing bad happened to her people and her clan. But late in the evening, she saw Justin arrive. She sighed a breath of relief and jumped up, throwing herself on his tired body.
Justin held her close and asked her if she Missed him. Of course she missed him, otherwise how will he find her wearing such a worried look when he arrived. Linda said yes, she not only missed him but also had been restlessly waiting for his return.
Justin smiled and said they can't have anything else besides victory. The Middleton pack are operating on a special level where they can no longer be conquered easily. As long as Lily remains their lordess.
Justin went further and told her what had befallen Envy and how her father ended his own life. Perhaps he was afraid that the alpha was going to punish him alongside his daughter. But the alpha actually had no such thought but alas the old man had hanged himself.
Linda listened abruptly to Justin and felt satisfied with what happened to Envy. That girl was too arrogant and thought too highly of herself. Maybe because she once had access to the Royal house and court.
"The real one who fought is not the warriors nor the lord but the lordess!!"Justin declared. He told her how she single handedly fought with numerous warrior Invaders and kept killing them until they arrived and joined forces with her.
That night, Linda can't help but admire the lordess the most. She had such a skill and no one knows? She doesn't even pride herself about it.
Kayden Diego couldn't help but feel a little worried about Lily's personality. She doesn't remember her past, she can't remember using her supernatural power. Why can't she remember such vital and essential information?.
But somehow, he felt grateful. He wished she didn't remember her past life for real. The thoughts of her waking up one day and remembering who she used to be usually makes him shiver. What if she remembers one day and decides to...no she won't. She had promised not to leave him come what may.
When he went to join her in the bedroom, she was already asleep. He took his bath and slipped under the quilt beside her. Holding her in a warm embrace, he soon drifted off to sleep.
Next morning, when Lily woke up, the sun rays were blinding her eyes. She sat up groggily and looked at the bedside clock, it's almost noon. Huh, almost noon? She had slept so much and Kayden didn't wake her up to go to the company.
Oh no! She's late now. How can she be resuming work at the time others were going for lunch? She would rather stay home and plead with Kayden Diego to pardon her.
Meanwhile, in imperial city. Harold Aaron had also been informed by his private investigator that Damian Cross and Anna Brook had been registered at the bureau. His guesses were right. Anna Brook was carrying Damian Cross' baby in her belly.
With the entire Cruz's business documents in his custody and the evidence and clues he's gathering, he would definitely bring Damian Cross down.

Few weeks later
Kayden Diego traveled for a week, back to Singapore. He told Lily not to step out of the door. To make her comfortable, he summoned his aunt Ms Gracey to stay with her.
Ms Gracey was more than happy this time to come around and spend some time with their new lordess. She's not worried about Lily slipping out of the house anymore because this house has now become her home.
Linda usually comes around as well. Since her husband Justin had traveled along with Kayden. The three women enjoyed each other's company for the period of one week before the duo of Kayden and Justin returned.
As soon as Kayden returned, he told Ms Gracey to return to her home. He was grateful for being available to keep his wife's company. But now he is back and can keep her company henceforth.
Ms Gracey then returned that very day. Lily scolded Kayden, why he sent her away. She could stay as long as she liked, after all, Ms Gracey was her family. Lily claimed she stood at the bridal family side during their wedding.
Kayden Diego couldn't help but laugh. He told Lily that he had forgotten that Ms Gracey had now become his aunt in- law. But seriously, he told Lily he just wanted them both to be alone.
That night, as they both laid naked under the quilt, Kayden kissed Lily's temple and told her she was owning him a brood of offspring. Lily smiled and said he was working hard enough and hoped to have a child soon.
One Week later
Lily woke up feeling groggy. She felt like sleeping back again. She dragged herself to the bathroom and washed. She'd not have an appetite for food and couldn't explain what was the matter with her.
Thank goodness, that day was a weekend and she took a few bites of her food and returned to the room to sleep. Kayden had gone to his weekend routine of exercise and gym. She often joined him at the basement for some weeks now, but that day she went back to the room.
As she laid down, a thought occurred to her. Isn't a grown lady like herself supposed to menstruate every month? Having lost her memory, she doesn't know when she menstruated last. But since she had been with Kayden, she hadn't.
She's been married to Kayden for over six weeks now and could it be that she's pregnant? Oh gosh, Why hadn't she remembered a thing about her past life? She would have been certain if she's really pregnant or not.
She would go get a kit. But Kayden Diego would not let her go out alone and she doesn't want to tell him first before doing the confirmation test. Or better still, she would go to the Royal mother. After all, the royal mother told her to come to her as soon as she starts feeling somehow funny with herself.
That's it, she'll go to the royal mother. When Kayden returned from the gym, she would tell him to take her to the werewolf clan to see the royal mother. She stood up and went downstairs to await her husband.
But when she got downstairs, she saw him with his towel across his shoulder. He was drinking water from a bottle. Justin was also dressed in jeans and canvas like his boss as they both seemed to be discussing something important.
Kayden Diego saw Lily and smiled. He stretched his hand and pulled her unto himself. Justin bowed and greeted her respectfully. Lily smiled and asked how Linda was doing.
Seeing they had momentarily paused in their discussion, she took the advantage to ask her own request. "Darling. Will you take me to see mother?" Kayden is darling when it's both of them alone or before Justin and Linda. But Boss Kayden before other employees at the Starlight Group.
"Why do you want to go and see the royal mother?"Kayden asked.
"I just want to see her," Lily replied, becoming impatient. She really was anxious and it won't take Kayden more than a few minutes to teleport her to the clan.
"Not until you tell me why," Kayden Diego declared.
"Do I have to give you a reason to see my mother?"Lily smirked. She pulled away from him and walked towards the stairs.
Justin smiled and knew there's going to be a feud. He wondered if this was still Lord Kayden that a woman can become so casual with?
Kayden Diego squinted and turned to glance at the angry Lily. Why does she want to see the royal mother? Justin saw that Kayden's heart and eyes were after her Majesty, so he decided to leave. "I'll leave now, my wife also awaits me"
Waving at him, Alpha Kayden bade him a goodbye before hurrying in after Lily. He pushed the door open and entered. Lily turned away from him feigning annoyance. She wasn't angry at all but feigned to be in order for Kayden to feel pressured and grant her request.
"Tell me why you want to go and see the Royal mother? She's your mother and you can go whenever, Ok? But let me atleast know Why you are going?" Kayden demanded and walked up to her embracing her from behind.
"Mother and I are women. And besides I promised mother that once I start..."she trailed off. Oh no. She was almost telling him already.
Kayden narrowed his brow. He gently turned Lily to face him and stared at her eyes. Deeply staring into them as if trying to read a writing on them. "You're suspecting if you might be pregnant? Are you thinking you are already carrying my child?" Kayden asked carefully and kept staring at her.
Lily turned herself from facing him. She smiled quietly. Kayden Diego walked over and stood in front of her. He was feeling excited already. He was also expecting her to be pregnant too.
"Tell me Lily, Is that what you want to tell the Royal mother?"Kayden asked unconsciously, placing his hand on her flat belly. Lily nodded and looked at his bright eyes. He was looking so charming in his bright and smiling face.
"Wait for me, I'll go get the test kit and I'll be back soon" Kayden Diego didn't even bother to take a bath, just changed into another shirt and trousers before dashing out.
Soon he returned with five different test kits and they both read the instructions on the leaflet before Kayden told Lily to go into the bathroom and do the test.
While Lily was inside the bathroom, Kayden Diego was pacing back and forth, too excited to sit down. He wanted it to come out positive. It was supposed to be ready after five minutes but each minute was taking too long and Kayden wondered why the time suddenly became very slow for his sake.
