Lily rose up in haste. She kicked at the conference table and would have turned it upside down if she could!. She cleared off everything on the table violently and the noise of glasses chattering filled the air. Juice spewed on the floor and she looked enraged.
Harold Aaron stood up hurriedly. He had never seen his boss this angry before. He had said something unpleasant to her and she's obviously angry with him. "I am sorry boss Lily. I didn't want to cause a rift between you and Anna Brook and didn't want your marriage to have issues." Harold Aaron was giving a quick explanation.
Kayden Diego stood up quickly and went to hold Lily. She's also a werewolf and this kind of anger is related to the wolf within.
Kayden Diego stared at Harold coldly. He knew something so unfilia was being done by Lily's best friend with her husband and he kept quiet about it? He should have given her a signal even if it was an anonymous one.
" You are sorry Harold? To whom did your loyalty lie? To me or to Anna and Damian? You know something so vital and kept it from me? You were trying to see my marriage go well but didn't know you were a part of the scheme to murder me?"Lily yelled.
"No, not so boss Lily. I am sorry, please. My loyalty lies with you and only you, and you know it" Harold replied, almost struck down by Kayden's cold eyes. How was he supposed to tell her those times he saw her happy with Anna Brook?
Wouldn't it have appeared as if he was a cheap gossip? He couldn't bring himself to tell her. How was he supposed to be the cause of a rift between two friends and an assumed happy couple?
"You hate me this much Harold? You kept such a secret from me? What other secrets were you keeping from me?"Lily scolded. She remembered perfectly that day Harold Aaron was referring to. She had given him a spare key to Anna's apartment and told him to organize a surprise birthday party for her.
If she remembers correctly, he soon returned and said he was going to visit his sick mother or something like that. So he actually caught them both cheating on her.
When Kayden saw how furious she was and despite trying to pacify her, she refused to be pacified. "Do you still love him that much? More than me?" He inquired telepathically.
Lily suddenly calmed down. Only the both of them understood each other's communication. Though Justin might guess they communicated, he can't understand what they said to each other.
"I am sorry sweetheart, I love you more and promise to love only you" Lily replied and buried herself in his chest. "Good girl," Kayden replied, caressing her hair.
"Bring those documents along when you're bringing the evidence you've gathered. You'll call my assistant when you are coming to create an access to you" Kayden Diego instructed.

Damian Cross waited and expected that Harold Aaron would inform him of what he instructed him to do. But received no reply. He dialed his office number but it wasn't answered. Deciding, he went to his office. Only for him to be greeted by an empty office.
He got enraged and called his cellphone number but that also wasn't answered. He then instructed his secretary to prepare a sack letter and should be delivered to Harold Aaron's desk.
An hour to the closing of the day, Harold Aaron walked into the company and went to sit behind his desk. He hardly sat down when he sighted the letter. Anxious he picked it and saw that it was addressed to him. Tearing it open, he was surprised by its content.
He stood up and went to the President's office. He met Damian Cross sitting with his legs placed on the desk. Such an unpleasant sight. "What's the meaning of this Damian Cross?"Harold asked. He was only faking being grieved with the letter.
Of course he's so called as the president wasn't going to last either. The real boss lady was back and the imposter would go down. The fellow who sits in a place of position without the certificate of ownership of the company in his custody is an imposter.
This was exactly what Damian Cross wanted. Seeing Harold Aaron's unpleasant stare, he chuckled "What's in there that you don't understand!" Damian Cross inquired and was obviously happy putting the fellow where he should be, at his call and beckon.
"You fired me Damian? I worked with Lily's father and I also worked with boss Lily. None of them had any issues with me but you who just took over the company a few days ago have fired all the old staff and today you did the same to me?" Harold Aaron seethed.
Damian Cross felt a little uncomfortable with what Harold Aaron said. If a company was going to make progress, one shouldn't discard the old hands, especially those who knew the in's and outs of the company. And Harold Aaron was like an asset.
But his ego would not make him bulge. If Harold Aaron can condescend and beg him he might decide to retain him otherwise, he should go. He'll surely find someone to fill the vacuum. He doesn't want Harold Aaron to feel he was indispensable.
"I hope you regret this action of yours one day"Harold Aaron declared, throwing the letter on Damian's face, he stormed out angrily. Harold Aaron returned to the office, picked a few things that belonged to him and went out through the elevator.
He sighed audibly. He's only going to be away for a few days, before returning to the company and taking over his position again. He drove himself home amidst a Belly full of excitement.
When Damian Cross saw that Harold Aaron did not beg him, rather he left, he became sullen. Such an arrogant and undisciplined employee. He must ensure that he lives the rest of his life jobless.
When alone, Kayden asked Why Lily was so upset with Harold Aaron? She shouldn't be so angry if she has no feelings left for Damian Cross. Harold Aaron was a trusted employee and as such, should be treated with respect and love.
Lily said she was only feeling disappointed in Harold's attitude. If he had told her about the duo, she would have set a loophole for them both to trip before her and discover their unfaithfulness long before she fell victim of all that befell her.
How could she still be having feelings for Damian Cross? She would rather walk on coals of fire than ever entertain those thoughts in her heart. Kayden scolded her further and said if she had known, would she have experienced what she went through, and how could they have met, and they both falling in love, getting married and having such an adorable Son?.
Lily found no word to retort back to the statement.
Justin assigned more bodyguards to secretly protect Harold Aaron. He had what they needed right now and should be protected. He's going to act as the insider who will feed them every information.
Later that evening, Harold Aaron called Justin and told him he was coming over with what they discussed earlier. The latter told him he could come over and immediately position bodyguards to await his coming. The two bodyguards assigned to trail Harold Aaron and protect him were also at a standby.
Meanwhile, Damian Cross was not comfortable with Harold's arrogance, at least that is what he claimed his attitude was. He had secretly trained some bodyguards of his who are more or less best referred to as thugs. He called the leader of his bodyguards and assigned them to kidnap Harold that very night and lock him up.
He would interrogate him personally and force him to cough out those documents. If Harold truly left and he has no documents in his hands, how can he claim the real ownership of the company, how would he contend with him in future?
That fellow must have some mischief under his sleeve. Otherwise, why couldn't he bow to him and beg him to reinstate him back into the company. He just threw the letter on his face and walked out. Who the hell does he think he is?
He would teach him a lesson and make him realize that he was stronger than him. The bodyguards set out as instructed by their boss Damian Cross. A total of Five men.
Harold Aaron instructed his wife not to leave the house and asked that the security not open the gate for anyone else besides him. He placed the waterproof folder in the car and ensured his flash drive was properly placed in his pants pocket before driving out.
He had barely driven a few minutes when he noticed a BMW trailing him. To be sure it was really trailing him, he increased his speed and the BMW did the same. He turned into an ally and the car followed. When he got to a populated area, he slowed down and the BMW also slowed down.
Harold Aaron became certain that he was really being trailed. He doesn't need a soothsayer to tell him they were men from Damian Cross. He has a lot of important documents and evidence in his possession and can't afford to let them fall into the wrong hands.
He quickly picked his phone and called Justin. When the latter heard what Harold Aaron said, he told him to drive around in circles and avoid lonely paths. He will come to help me soon. Immediately Justin hung up, he told the two bodyguards assigned to watch Harold Aaron's movement to be at alert that the latter was being trailed.
