"I don't know much about her"Kayden Diego answered flippantly but truely. Besides the name, Kayden doesn't know anything else about Lily. He has tried investigating but it seems she doesn't belong to Z-country otherwise he would have gotten answers. But when he gets back to the human world, he would investigate the other neighboring countries.
"You don't know much and yet you saved her, accommodated her under your roof, tried to resist her until your will succumbed and found her your mate right? You fell in love with her and it seemed as if you couldn't do without her?" Wise one asked with his eyes still closed.
Kayden Diego squinted. The wise one was accurate about what he said. He threw a glance at Justin and their eyes met. "You are the right wise one" he affirmed.
"Did you ever see her looks when she has nightmares?" Wise one asked. "No, we don't share a room, so there's no way I would have seen her," Kayden replied. If there's something he wants to say, he should just say it, not ask him a questionnaire.
"That might be the reason, when you see her in great affliction, you wouldn't have tarried till date. You should have been here for over seven nights ago" Wise one declared.
"Wise one. Lily is my mate and for the first time I know I am in love. So can you just tell me what you have to say?"Kayden Diego came out directly. He can't tolerate the suspense anymore.
His parents were surprised at his words. He openly confesses that he's in love? Justin smiled looking at him with admiration. That's his lord becoming impatient because what has been said is about his woman. If only his parents knew how agitated he was when Lily went missing, perhaps they would easily understand.
"If in two days time, you don't make her yours, then you'll never be able to be with her ever again. And this time, you cannot survive it!!" Wise one announced.
Kayden Diego's expression became frosty. "I need a detailed explanation," he thundered. His parents are becoming uneasy too. Whatever is going to pose a threat to Kayden's life is posing a threat to their existence as well.
"Wise one tell us at once in plain words, why you made your last statement" Royal father was soliciting.
"That woman is the special one, the gifted one from the goddess. She had so much power in her that she didn't sleep. And when she does, the power becomes overreacting in her causing night of torture and lament and you called it a nightmare. If she's not mated before the next full moon which comes up in three days time, she'll let loose and will go forth destroying whatever her eyes set on and that starts with you lord Kay Diego!!!"
There was a needle dropping in silence. Lily!! Kayden Diego thought and unconsciously whispered her name. His Luna becomes destructive and possibly destroys him and the entire pack?
"She has the power of immortality and will render the world empty when she becomes a rogue. But the good news is that when you mate with her, you become immortal, and you help suppress and contain her power which can be controlled by her and you alone. When you mate her, only you can tame her. If she gives birth to a child, that child will become the greatest supernatural lord that will control the whole world combining the Lycan power in you with his mother's supernatural power.

No one spoke for a long time. Kayden Diego couldn't find anything to say either. Lily was really housing such power in her and he couldn't tell?. "Why didn't I feel such power was in her when I got close to her?"Kayden asked after a long silence.
"Have you ever witnessed a sensation whenever your eyes locked? If yes, that's the power pleading with you to subdue it?" wise one answer.
Kayden narrowed his brow. He understands now. He had always thought her eyes were sending him a message but later assumed it's a mate pull. But now, he knows better.
"Have you experienced that before, Kay?" Royal mother asked her Son. She wants to hear from him. "Yes, many times but I had always thought it's the mate pull" Kayden Diego answered diligently.

"If you get mated with her, you'll help activate the power and she'll wake up to her abilities and use it to save the entire Middleton pack, subduing all your opponents. You'll become more powerful and get the ultimate power over the entire vampire lords. But if you don't, the power breaks loose on the full moon and then goes rampant without being controlled. She's your mate, She's a gift to you from the goddess and to the entire Middleton pack. This is the time to reward your followers with immortality and that includes me as well" Wise one declared.
Kayden Diego stood up and went to stand by the window, unable to think straight. Lily is a gift to him from the goddess?. He'll gladly accept her but how can he get Mated with her so soon? Will she be ready even if he decides to do as he's been told? Gush, they're not even married yet.
Royal mother beamed with a smile and looked at her cheerful husband.
They were glad. This is their final Feit of victory over their enemies. They'll all become immortal and the entire Middleton pack. Lily will even birth a Son that will be an embodiment of power.
But their fear is if their Son would accept the condition attached. He's just finally accepted a mate and now doing what it takes to get a bond might be a little uncomfortable for him.
Royal father winked an eye to Justin and the latter understood at once. Justin then stood up and walked towards Kayden Diego who completely turned his back to the rest in the room.
"Lord, pardon me if I intrude: but please accept this for the good of all of us. First to the woman you love and then for the good of the entire pack. Don't think it's too difficult a task. For the love of those you love and in reward of those who have served and still serving you" Justin coaxed him.
Without turning, he asked " Is there no other way I can tame her except by being mated with her?" If there's another way, even if it's the harder one, he would gladly take it.
"How else can you get into her soul without the mating?. It's not about the physical, it's about possessing her entirely both soul and spirit" Wise one concluded.
Wise one stood up with great difficulty. Age was telling on him already and would have died if the goddess hadn't blessed him with a long life. He was the one who had been the wise one when the pack was still fewer at Kay Diego's grandfather's time. But here's an opportunity staring at him and praying the goddess touch the heart of this boy to take his mate. Such a boy that abhors women.
"I shall take my leave. Think it through lord" and went out supporting himself on his walking stick. Kayden was left with his parents and Justin alone.
"Kay, make up your mind and possess your Luna. Sooner or later you'll eventually own her. So why linger on something that you'll still have to do later" Royal father persuaded.
"Please reason with what your father said. This will pave the way for me soon to see my grandchild. Please do this for your mother"Royal mother coaxed further.
"Lily has lost her memory. I don't want it to seem as if I took advantage of her. Two days is too fast. I wanted to wait until she recover"Kayden Diego gave a reason.
"If she becomes a rogue and goes on destroying us all, what good will her recovery do to her?"Justin spoke out reasonably.
There was another long silence. Royal father gave a nod to the sensible words Justin said. He knew his Son wouldn't keep an idiot by his side. He really deserved to be the Alpha's friend.
"I will not get mated to her if I am not legally married to her" Kayden Diego gave another reason. He can't lay a disgusting example for others to follow.
"That isn't an issue. Leave that to me"Royal mother assured.
Pinching the bridge between his eyes, Kayden finally spoke.
"First this should remain a secret. It's the secret of the alpha and his Luna. Secondly, send the news of my wedding to Lily to the entire pack. It will be taking place in two days time at the Middleton ceremonial hall. I'll go first and talk to Lily" Kayden Diego declared and took large strides out as Justin followed behind closely.
The Royal parents finally heaved a sigh of relief. Kay can be very difficult. He's a grown man now and shouldn't allow himself to be coax like he was that little Kay Diego back then.
When Kayden Diego arrived at his quarter, he met Lily and Linda talking happily with each other. Kayden just glanced at Justin and the latter had to find a random excuse to lure Linda away.
"Miss Lily, I am afraid I have to leave now with my mate. We have matters to attend to" Justin said, clasping his hands together with a slight bow. He held Linda and pulled her up as the latter bowed to his highness and the future lordess before stepping out with Justin.
Lily watched them with a smile as they both left with Justin holding her waist and almost cuddling her. When she turned to look at Kayden Diego who had taken a seat so close to her that their eyes locked and Kayden understood the message in those eyes now.
"You seemed to get along with people easily?"Kayden Diego complimented. "Yeah, thank you "Lily replied, smiling at him.
Kayden Diego came so close and held both of her hands. "Lily, do you trust me?" He became very serious. His eyes, trying to read her facial expression. Lily nodded and waited for him to tell her why he asked her that question.
"Do you love me Lily?"Kayden asked further. He is trying to make her relax. "Yes, absolutely" He got the reply he wanted.
"I want you to know that whatever decision I make about us, it's for our good. Do you understand me?"He asked her, still stalling for time.
Lily squinted. Why was Kayden Diego saying all these? "I want us to get married. I want the wedding to take place in two days time!"Kayden Diego finally blurted out what he wanted to say.
Lily turned her face from Kayden. Getting married in two days time and he's just telling her? They arrived here just yesterday and they hadn't even spent enough time together. He only talked with her a little last night before leaving the room and going elsewhere to sleep.
"Isn't it too sudden Kayden? I haven't gotten to know you well and getting married to you so soon would be like I am with a stranger" Lily declined.
"We'll get to know each other more on each passing day. But what's most important is the fact that we love each other. I really love you Lily and I want us to become a couple as soon as possible"Kayden coaxed her.
"I am not ready for marriage, Kayden. Give me some time"Lily declared. Kayden became speechless. How can he tell her it's important they get married and mate to help each other. He doesn't want to disclose the truth to her for now. In fact he wants to keep it a secret from her.
"Lily, you promised to always listen to me and do whatever I want you to do. And now I am not asking you to stay but to come with me and publicly accept each other and you said you're not ready?" Kayden Diego demanded.
