Endless tears streaked down my cheek and rain, soaked my entire body, allowing the nightwear to lay against me as if it was my second skin.
Discovering what had truly happened to me during the full moon. There's no way I'd stay with Madison.
I felt like a fool believing the alpha truly wanted me to be a part of his pack. It was all because of guilt. I should have figured it out in his abrupt decision in taking me in his pack and why he helped me. I now hated Alpha Deucalion as much as I hated The Grey pack members. I now wanted him to be no more just as The Grey Pack Members were. He was evil, cruel, and no better than them.
I fell beside the river I had lost my tale, and I screamed hurt.
It was Alpha Deucalion's fault that I had lost my mate. He was why I was captured. I remembered him giving me a fist in the head right after I have found my mate.
As I slowly became unconscious, he put me in a cage and went to call the Grey Pack.
"Take her away quick from me," those were the last words I heard him say as my eyes closed.

They say lightning never strikes one place twice but that night fleeing from Madison's home into the forest. It strike twice beside me with my shouts and anger as if it was building a deadly border beside me to protect me.
That night I didn't know how long I shouted and when I stopped. The morning I woke up and found myself in a new nightwear, a red one and I was in a room I was familiar with. It wasn't Madison but I know who it was.
Immediately, I got off the bed.
The door opened and I pulled myself backward knowing who it was.
I watched him with hatred in my heart as he entered the room and closed the door behind him.
I walked opposite him not wanting him to be close to me.
"You found out what happened during the full moon," he said in a low tone as he stood still staring at me.
Within his blood-red eyes I could see he was sorry or was it just guilt for what had happened to me and my mate?
"You disgust me," I looked at him with rage. "I want nothing to do with you after what you have allowed to happen to my mate," I cried to him as I said.
"Rain," he called my name for the first, instead of Scoundrel or Nothing.
"I don't want to hear anything you have to say, for you are cruel and heartless, and you're only pretending to be nice to me because you allow him to rape me!" my tearful voice raised.
The alpha head lowered and I saw tears forming in his eyes. I should have been surprised to see a cold and heartless wolf like him cry, but I wasn't, all I felt for him was anger and rage.
"I didn't mean to," he tried to explain to me but I shut him up.
"I don't want to hear anything that comes from your mouth!" I yelled.
His eyes raised to me and I saw tears rolling down his cheeks.
"I would have forgiven you for allowing Rolph to rape me and even if his members joined him, but I can never forgive you for what you made happened to my mate. The only one I could have called my own and someone alive I could have belonged to," I told him.
I began to run from the room not wanting to hear anything else he wanted to say to me.
"You didn't find your mate," he stopped me.
My head turned to him.
"You didn't find your mate under the full moon, Rain," said the alpha as he wiped away his tears and turned his back.
"It was a member from The Grey Pack you saw, shifting into his human form to take you away."
"Liar!" I yelled at him.
His back was still kept away from mine.
"Why would I lie?" he asked as he finally managed to look at me again.
I didn't believe a word he said.
"Madison told me about the full moon and she-wolves always find their mate," I told him angrily.
"Not always," said the alpha.
I couldn't bear to stay in the same room with him anymore. I had to leave. He again stopped me as I held the doorknob to turn the door open.
"I haven't found my mate as yet, I hope that will allow you to see the truth about the mating ceremony," said the alpha.
"You're only mateless because the moon goddess will never allow a she-wolf to suffer with you being their mate," I told him off and ran from his house.
Though The Grey Pack was gone, I had gained myself another enemy. I desired the alpha to be dead, if only he was there with me last night when I was screaming and shouting by the river. I could have killed him. I would have taken revenge for my mate.
