Rain P.O.V
Discovering I was pregnant Madison kept on crying.
She tried to touch me but I backed away from her before she could.
"I'm sorry that I foolishly chased you away," she apologized.
I walked over to Arkane not wanting anything to do with her.
"Rain," Madison called.
I looked at her.
"You can't keep that pup, we have to get rid of it before it's too late," she told me in tears.
I was angry at her. I knew she would have wanted me to but discovering my pup would have the same abilities as me. I could never do such a thing.
One hand ran over my grown belly knowing I'll never be a lone member of The River Pack once my pup is born and I was not going to allow Madison or Jane to prevent that.
"You should leave," I told her.
Madison tried to approach me but Arkane stood in front of me blocking me away from her.
She looked at me from his right side.
"Rain, please come home with me," she begged.
My head turned away from her.
She cried and my head raised as I heard her leaving.
"You cannot have this rape child," she kept on saying.
I walked away.

A part of me still loved Madison. She was the first wolf who cared about me. But I can never forget how she hurt me.
That evening after they have left I lay in bed, sadly.
"Give me some time with Rain," I heard Alpha Arkane enter the shared building I stayed at.
I sat up and watched the she-wolves who dwelled with me as they left.
Arkane walked over to me and sat next to me.
"How are you feeling?" he asked concerned.
His dark eyes never left mine as he did.
"I'll be okay," I forced a smile not wanting him to be worried about me too much.
He was doing so much for me already and I didn't want to be a burden to him. After all, he had his own problems as well. We all did within the Pain Pack.
"Please don't ever lie to me," one of his hands rested on my lap.
I looked at his strong hand against me and then at his face.
I nodded.
One of his hands soon held the side of my face while his thumb gently moved along my right cheek. My eyes closed at his touch.
"You've changed your mind about the abortion?" he asked.
My eyes opened immediately at his words and my face moved from his hand.
"Yes," I retorted as my head turned away from his.
"Are you sure, you're doing the right thing?" he asked.
I nodded.
"What if that pup looks like his rapist father and reminds you every day of what he did to you?" he asked.
"He won't," I sat up answering angrily.
My pup was going to be like me, for my powers showed me.
"I'm sorry," I later apologized feeling bad about my response to him.
Arkane stood up before me.
Both his hand held my hands.
"I just want you to make the right decision," he said as he kept looking at my hand within his.
"I am."
"I hope so," his eyed soon met mine.
He again touched my face and soon his lips to my forehead kissing the mark Alpha Deucalion had given me.
"Alpha Arkane," I heard Jane coming towards us.
"I'll come to check on you again," he told me as he went off to meet Jane.
I gave him a smile as he left, one that didn't seem forced.
"They're here again," I heard Jane.
My eyes closed angrily knowing who she was talking about. It had to be the alpha and Madison again.
Yes, it was, when I exited the building. They were both heading towards us.
"Leave from here or I'll have to force you both too," Alpha Arkane warned them.
Alpha Deucalion ignored him and kept on walking straight to us.
Arkane rushed towards him for a fight but Jane and I stopped him before he could.
"We come not for a fight but for Rain, for she doesn't belong with you," said Madison as her eyes paused at me.
"Well she does," Arkane spoke for me.
"Come Rain," Alpha Deucalion had the nerve to call me.
I gave him an angry look.
Arkane was about to speak for me but this time I stopped him.
"I can speak for myself," I told him.
Arkane nodded.
"Rain, I'm sorry for what I did to you. Please forgive me and come home with us," Madison. begged.
"I belong here Madison. I've found the pack that's best for me," I told her.
I held Arkane's hand as I did.
"Take your filthy hands off her!" Alpha Deucalion yelled uncontrollably.
My body jumped frightened by his temper.
"Keep your anger in control Deucalion you're making it hard for us to reach out to her," said Madison.
I hid at Arkane's side.
"Rain, I beg you, you must return with us for we both know you're not ready for a pup, especially that pup."
"How many times will I and her tell you both that she will not come with you," Arkane said angrily.
"She's not a rogue, she's a part of our pack and you have no choice but to let her go," Madison spoke back angrily.
"Well, I no longer wish to be a part of your pack," I told them.
"You have no choice," said Alpha Deucalion.
I looked at him infuriated while Arkane growled at him.
"She no longer wants to be a part of your pack, so you cannot force her to," Arkane informed him. "And I will never allow her to return with you after what you made happened to her."
Alpha Deucalion walked closer to Arkane and paused.
"Please don't start a war," begged Madison scared.
I too was. I was afraid I could lose Arkane.
"I will not allow my Luna to stay with you," I heard Alpha Deucalion aggressively.
My eyes immediately widened at his words.
