Shock, panic and fear ran through his spine. He saw his entire family all looking pitiable. His heart was beating very fast. He gradually struggled to a sitting position with great difficulty. They all stared at each other with their gagged mouths.
When Damian's mother saw her son, all her hope of being rescued was dashed. She had thought he would find them and rescue them but alas, he also was suffering the same fate like them.

Anna suspected that someone had discovered that they murdered Lily and was taking revenge for her. She only hoped those she gave those recordings to keep had not allowed it to be sabotaged? But if that is even the case, shouldn't they have handed them over to the police and not take laws into their hands?.
They were kept here like prisoners and their mouths sealed. They can't talk to each other nor can they move their bodies. This is horrible and a torture on its own.
Damian Cross looked at his parents, especially his mother and felt his blood boiled. How can Harold Aaron subject his mother to such suffering? He tried frantically to release himself, but the handcuffs were not something one can break by just struggling.
Kayden Diego was following up with Justin on the steps of events. When he was informed that all the people Lily wants to meet, have all been abducted and waiting in a secluded room.

Lily looked at it and smiled broadly. "Get a scalpel ready as well" she instructed Justin before the latter stepped out. Justin glanced at Kayden Diego at Lily's new instruction and the former just shrugged.
"I'll play around for a few more hours before I launch my revenge. Meanwhile sweetheart, since I have a few hours more, Why don't you play with me" Lily stated and started pulling off her clothes.
Lily was feeling excited. Her happiness was all over her. Kayden Diego didn't know what method she was going to use on those fellows, but he perceived brutality in her preparation.
Next few minutes, Lily was standing before him naked. Seeing her like this, Kayden Diego's body hardened. He pulled her to himself and started kissing her. The gentle kiss soon became something fierce and hard. Her hands were also forcing his buttons open.

An hour later, Lily walked out of the room in a black Chiffon dress. Her hair was made into a ponytail. Her lips were touched with red lipstick. Kayden Diego was dressed in a black suit and a red cloak. He looked mysterious with his expressionless gaze that emits a killing intent.
On Lily's neck was a deep hickey. It was too obvious not to be sighted at first glance. Kayden Diego saw it first while they were still in the room and drew Lily's attention to it. But Lily said she's grateful to have it. That's the first thing Damian Cross would see when he sights her.
She asked that they bring them into the conference room. Soon Damian Cross and others were dragged into the room and they saw two people standing with their back to them. A man and a woman.

Damian Cross blinked his eyes several times to be sure he wasn't in a dream land. He stared at the woman in front of him as fear gripped him. He tried to move back to possibly hide himself but he discovered he couldn't even lift a foot.

He looked next at the youngest of the two women in front of him and could readily tell which was Lily's friend and who was Damian's mother. His stare was frosty. It carried a compressing aura that made it difficult for people to look up at him twice.
Damian's parents were the dumbest. The weak and groaning mother was suddenly well and sat coiled up in a corner. She can't look at the cold face of Lily. Nothing is hidden anymore. The die is cast and the milk is spewed. They are like swimmers whose body seems to be covered in water but their backs are above the same water.
Damian's father just bent his head like a chicken that wants to peck on a grain. He didn't even bother to look up twice. The man's freezing stare was one thing and Lily's blood shot eyes was another. He'll just remain head bent to await the fate ahead of him and the rest.

Damian Cross was dumbfounded. What the hell was his issue here? Whatever had happened, it was between himself and his wife Lily and not him. Why was he taking medicine for someone else's headache? But he dares not voice out his thoughts.
Lily was pleased with Justin's action. She would think about how to reward him later. She stared at Damian with a killing intent. Is this the man she once loved with her entire being? She's never seen him so ugly before. Why didn't she know he was so unpresentable?
Her hatred for him had perhaps made her see him in a different perspective. Gush, she can't imagine how stupid she had been to have stood and walked side by side with this fellow surnamed Cross.
She looked past him to that mistake of a friend. She was her bestie and vaguely knew everything about her. While she used to be a filial friend, she was fucking her then husband and then clean up to stand before her. She detest her and wished they had never met.
"I must say darling, you have a very bad taste in men," Kayden Diego commented. How could Lily have been married to this kind of thing as her husband? There's nothing about him that appeals. He stared at Damian in contempt.
Damian Cross shivered at Kayden's words. He called Lily 'darling'? She's with someone else already? But this man looked mysterious. Are they lovers? But there seemed to be no one who understands his thoughts that might give him answers.
"Blinded by love" Lily replied and strained her cheeks as if taking a soured grape. She's really blinded that she doesn't know how unattractive the scoundrel was. "Mm..that must be it"Kayden Diego gave a nod, indicating he presumed that to be the reason.
"Long time, no see Anna Brook" Lily teased and gave a grin. Going to take a seat, she sat down and Kayden Diego took his seat beside her. "I learnt you lost your child, that's great news that the child doesn't get to suffer a terrible fate" Lily teased.
Anna's eyes went red. Her child's death was what Lily referred to as great news? Why wouldn't she even take pity on her and give her condolences. Rather she was happy for her baby's death.
"We need to talk,"Damian Cross stated. He wants to get a chance to sweet talk Lily. If he knew she didn't die and her remains were not eaten up by wolves like he thought, he would have searched for her everywhere. He didn't know and the phrase 'had I knew' usually comes last.
