Justin immediately came forward and bowed. " Is the Scalpel ready?" Lily asked. "Yes,"Justin replied and waited for the next instruction. Damian wondered how a scalpel being ready had anything to do with what's going on here.
"Fine. I don't want to dirt my fingers. I would have done it myself. Get one of the bodyguards here" Lily instructed. Justin walked out and soon returned with a bodyguard.
Lily sized him up and down and smiled wirily. This fellow looked brutal and that's the kind of person she needs for the work. "You'll get the scalpel and castrate this fellow"Lily instructed and pointed at Damian Cross.
There was a needle dropping in silence. Everyone was surprised at Lily's words. Castration? A full grown man to be castrated? His hope for a family of his own dashed completely?.
Damian's parents looked up abruptly. Castration? Aaahh, they have met with their doom. Their Son turned into a eunuch? Who will come to their aid, who will save them from the fierceness of Lily?
Kayden Diego was dazed. Castrate? His woman really knows how to reduce a man to mere cheese. That's the peak of humiliation for any man. He doesn't care a bit about whatever Lily decides to do to avenge her parents death.
"Lily please, I admit that I have been unfair to you. I treated you badly in the past. But please, don't do this to me. Give me a chance to right my wrongs"Damian Cross was pleading. He can't assume what he would be like when castrated.
"Chance, are you qualified to ask for a chance? Did you give mum and dad a chance to live, did you give me a chance to separate from you properly before you tried to murdered me?" Lily thundered.
There was another silence. Anna Brook felt the burden of Lily's words weighed her down. They had indeed wronged Lily. She didn't know that Damian Cross and his parents were the mastermind behind the death of Lily's parents. When she got to know, she was gone too deep in the plot that she can't pull out anymore.
Lily's words were like hammers in Damian's and his parent's ears. Why couldn't they decide any scheme to own the Cruz cooperation without having to murder its owners. And today seemed to be the day of their reckoning.
"But despite what I did to you in the past, I left you pure. I didn't sleep with you. Do you even know why I didn't touch you for all the years that we were together,why I usually turn to your friend Anna Brook to satisfy my sexual urge, do you know why?" Damian was stalling for time perhaps he could get to change Lily's mind.
"Yes, I know: because you said you had erectile dysfunction"Lily responded flippantly. He must think she's senseless like him. If she was, that was in the past. He said it, not because it was actually so.
Damian Cross was speechless.
Lily was showing lack of interest in his tattling. He wanted to say something more, when suddenly, he was yanked on his feet by the bodyguard. Damian's mother started sobbing and pleading that Lily spare her Son, saying he was being childish in the past.
Huh?..childish? Justin opened his eyes wide. Such a man that can plot and kill someone else's parents was childish? Aaahh, this is really ridiculous.
Lily chuckled. This woman was pleading for her Son, when she doesn't know what awaits her. Her own fate was going to be worse than her Son's. Every one of them was pleading. Damian's father begged Lily saying she should spare her husband because of the times they had spent in the past, especially remembering how much she loved him back then.
Lily became furious. How dare this man talk about her love for Damian in the past? That love led to the death of her parents and would have sealed off her existence if Kayden Diego hadn't rescued her. He dares to still call Damian her husband?.
Anna Brook was casting a pleading stare at Lily. She was sobbing uncontrollably and wished they didn't do what they did. She was Lily's friend and her chief bridesmaid at her wedding. But she flopped when she started sleeping with her husband.
Damian Cross was dragged into a smaller room located in the large room. His pants were ripped off as he tried struggling. The bodyguard gave him a vicious kick which sent him flying into the air and descending with a 'thud' sound.
What they heard next was Damian's screaming. He was pleading and at the same time cursing Lily for being a wicked person. "Someone go gag his mouth"Kayden Diego ordered. Justin went over and gagged his mouth with a towel.
A cold chill ran through Justin's spine when he saw the bloody scene before him. No anesthetic was given, no numbness drug or injection offered, The man was just lying in his own pool of blood.
Damian's mother was screaming loudly. Her Son's noise has sent her into an emotional torture. Anna Brook started shivering and her breathing has gone faster making her chest going up and down.
Damian's father was sweating profusely. His Son was being reduced to a vegetable and he couldn't do anything about it. His family line had just been cut off. They were paying for their sins. But he didn't know the price was such a huge amount.
After some time, the bodyguard emerged from the room with bloody hands. "Where's your patient?"Lily asked casually as if she was talking to a surgeon. "He's passed out," the bodyguard replied.
"Passed out?, drag him out and soak him in an icy cold water"Lily ordered.
Anna Brook started sobbing audibly. "Lily, please spare him for old times sake and let's take him to the hospital. I am begging you". Her husband had suffered severe pains and even passed out. The least that can be done to him was that he should be taken to the hospital but alas, Lily wants to wake him up with a chilled water?
Seeing the bodyguard's blood stained hands, she can imagine what Damian Cross was going to look like. He had lost his ability to father a child, but his life should be saved. The once naive and fragile Lily had turned into a monster.
"You should start worrying about your own calamity rather than your dear husband"Lily declared and looked at her with hatred in her eyes. She should worry that Damian Cross would not be able to make love to her anymore.
She had helped him to have true erectile dysfunction. Soon Damian Cross was dragged out and he was bleeding. The smell of fresh injury filled the entire hall. Kayden Diego and Justin would surely have been reacting to the craving for flesh if they weren't with people that shouldn't know their true Identity.
Damian's mother and wife started sobbing. Damian had fainted and hence was dragged out in his own pool of blood. His father was not in any way better than his mother and his wife. He really looked pitiable.
When Kayden saw Damian's condition, he telepathically told Lily that he could bleed to death if his wounds are not bound up. Lily saw it and knew that what Kayden was saying was the truth.
"Get the first aid kit and bound his wound. I don't want him to die" Lily instructed again. A first aid kit was brought and two other bodyguards joined hands in binding his wounds.
Anna's sobbing became reduced to mere snuffling. She was a little glad that he was being given first aid treatment. Just then, Lily's next statement made her to freeze:
"I want him alive to serve his jail terms when he leaves here" Lily uttered and passed a pleasant smile at Anna Brook. She saw the latter's fear gripped face. Now she's feeling really happy. Her revenge had just started.
He who killed in order to succeed, will have death at the door post of his success. By the time he goes and spends the rest of his life in jail, then she'll see how he intends to enjoy his so-called success.
Anna Brook stared at Lily with fear in her eyes. Jail? She was still going to hand Damian's and possibly the rest of them to the police? Why then was she making them endure such torment? Isn't that an unfair treatment?
Soon Damian's wounds were bound up. A bowl of icy cold water was brought, and Lily instructed that Damian's head be immersed in the water. As soon as it was done, he opened his eyes in pain. He screamed "Ahhh" as his head was flung out of the bowl.
"Glad you are awake now"Lily stated casually as if it was just a matter of being awoken out of sleep. Damian couldn't even lift any part of his body, he was groaning in pain. He was shivering from the cold water torment.
Maybe it's the water from his hair that flowed down to his body, or he was sweating. But his shirt was drenched and as for his pants, they were in shreds. He just laid on the floor with eyes open but couldn't even make any utterance.
"Damian! Are you Ok?" His mother was asking. She was shedding tears. The condition she sees her Son at the moment is really horrible. She can't imagine her son was in this kind of situation. Where he couldn't even help himself to a sitting position.
"How can he be ok huh? See what you have plunged your son into. You have pushed him this far. Everything Damian did to Lily was at your instruction. You urged him and gave him dubious counsel and today his suffering alone. What kind of parents are you?
Your desire to be rich and become a wealthy voice in imperial city have made you lead him on this dangerous path!! If you really want to become wealthy, why didn't you both labor and make money when your mates were striving for a better future?

See what you have reduced your own Son to? Not only has he lost the ability to father a child but his life is at stake and serving jail terms is at the corner. I hate you both for allowing Damian's life to be made a public example" Anna Brook angrily yelled at her husband's parents.
She started sobbing. Damian heard all that Anna said to his parents and didn't reprimanded her. But he couldn't talk at the moment for fear that his pains would be triggered. He just lay on the floor with scattered legs and stared on.
Damian's parents felt remorseful. Anna told the truth. They had pushed their Son to this point. They were responsible for what is befalling him. Their ambition had given rise to the present condition their Son has found himself.
"Bring those scoundrels here," Lily ordered. She doesn't want to concern herself with what has nothing to do with her. If Anna Brook was going to blame her in-laws for Damian's viciousness, will she also blame them for her infidelity to their friendship? For sleeping with her bestie's hubby?
The five men that Damian had sent on an errand filed in one after the other. The first person their attention drew to was their boss Damian Cross!!!
