Entangled with the Billionaire

Chapter 68

Ch. 68 / 101 Jan 12, 2026

Soon enough, they announced the arrival of the plane Theo and Colt were waiting on so they went to the arrival point to welcome their women.

The two best friends had to wait for a couple of minutes before Mia, Sammie and Hailey showed up. They were with nothing but their handbags. The people carrying their luggage were walking behind them with trolleys.

Colton's eyes didn't leave Mia's body the moment his eyes landed on her. With a smile on his face, he watched as She approached him.

"Hi, baby!" Mia smiled when she got to where he was. Not caring that they were in public or the fact that there could be paparazzi around that would probably take pictures of them, Colton engulfed Mia into a very possessive hug. She chuckled as she returned the hug.

Pulling away, he kissed her. Mia smiled against his lips the moment she felt all of his emotions in the kiss.

"I miss you...." He said in between kisses.

"I miss you more, my love." She responded.

Resting his forehead against Mia's own, Colton spoke. "I'm never letting you out of my sight anymore!"

She chuckled.

"I was restless over here. I don't think I can bear to go through such feelings again."

"Do we need to remind you all that you're in the public?" Sammie's voice came through.

Mia giggled. She placed a quick kiss on Colton's cheek before pulling away.

Colt glared at Sammie. Samantha smiled sheepishly, walking over to where Colton was. "I know you're angry at me but that doesn't mean I don't deserve a hug from my buddy."

Sammie pulled Colt in for a hug. He rolled his eyes as he returned the hug. "There's no way I'm going to allow you to take Mia away from me again." He said when they pulled away.

Sammie chuckled. "Dude, we were only gone for three days!!! I was very close to extending our stay."

"Thank God you made the right decision by not extending anything."

Sammie laughed. "What would have happened if I had extended it?"

"I'd have found my way to Paris to be with you guys." Colton sighed. "I almost went crazy, Sammie. You all should have at least used your phones."

"We miss you too, darling. Mia was whining all through. Wasn't she, Hail?" Sammie asked Hailey who nodded with a smile on her face.

"Trust me, If we had our phones on us, we wouldn't have time for ourselves and you know that."

She nudged Colton's shoulder."Cheer up, dude. We had fun in Paris and now we are back to you all."

"Hope you took good care of Mia and Hailey? You didn't take them to the club, right?"

"What happened in Paris, stays in Paris!" Sammie smirked.

"God, Sam..if I found out that....." Colton was saying but stopped himself. He turned to Hailey. "Hailey, did you guys go to the club?"

Hailey and Sammie glanced at each other "I think we did. What's a girls vacay without going to the club?" Hailey smiled.

They all burst into laughter at Colton's facial expression.

Mia made her way to where Colton was and cupped his face in her hands. "We had fun in Paris but we didn't cross the line. There's absolutely nothing to worry about or be jealous of." Mia's words and the sincerity in her eyes gave Colton the comfort he needed.

"I've never seen my best friend this mushy." Theo smiled, shaking his head.

"Mia couldn't stop talking about how much she missed him," Hailey said, watching the duo with a small smile plastered on her face..

"You both seriously need to get laid." Sammie voiced out.

"I think so too." Colton smiled, kissing Mia on the lips.

Mia, on the other hand, tried to stop herself from blushing but she failed woefully.

"Are you all in a hurry? I was thinking we should have dinner together. You all must be hungry."

"It depends on where you're taking us to!" Sammie said.

"Royal restaurant. There's one close to the airport here. Like three minutes away."

"Can we go to the main restaurant instead? I'm craving Simeon's dish." Sammie said.

"The chefs in the other branches are as good as Simeon," Colton explained.

"It's been a while since I tasted Simeon's meal." She said with puppy dog eyes.

Colt turned his attention to Mia. Eating Simeon's dish would mean driving down to the headquarters of Royal restaurant. The place Christoph officially broke up with Mia. She had not been there since then. Sammie was not aware of what happened either.

"We can have dinner on the rooftop. We don't have to enter the restaurant. Or we will use one of the VIP places." He whispered to her.

She smiled at him, happy that he was being considerate of her. "Actually it's fine. We can have dinner anywhere. You own royal empire so I'm bound to go there eventually.

"You sure? I can always convince Sammie to let us go elsewhere."

"I'm sure!" She assured.

"Enoch is on his way right?" Colton asked Hailey who nodded. "Please can you tell him to join us at the restaurant?"

"Sure!" Hailey answered, reaching for her phone in her handbag.

While Hailey spoke to her boyfriend on the phone, they all proceeded to the car. The men helped put the luggage in the various cars and then they settled in.

Sammie rode in Theodore's car while Hailey joined Mia and Colt. The ladies sat in the back passenger seat while Colton drove. He honestly didn't mind that Mia sat at the back with her best friend. Hailey was special to Mia, which makes her special to him too.

They all made lively conversations till they got to the restaurant. Enoch met them at the entrance and they all exchanged pleasantries.

As Colton wanted it, they occupied the rooftop. They were the only ones there so they had their privacy.

They made conversations over the sumptuous and delicious meal made by Simeon. The six friends sort of lost track of time because of the fun they were having. But since tomorrow was Monday and they all had to be at work very early, they decided to call it a night when it was almost 10 pm.

When they got to where their cars were parked, one of the security guards helped in transferring Hailey's luggage to Enoch's car and then the six friends started exchanging hugs.

"Coltie, my love. I'll miss you." Sammie said, making Colton roll his eyes. He returned her hug anyway.

"Thank you for sponsoring the trip and thanks for the free dinner."

"You're welcome. That's probably the last trip I would be sponsoring."

"Stop whining. It was a fun trip. Ask Mia, She even confessed she would like to go on such a trip again."

"I respect you all's decision but it's going to be hard for me to give my consent next time."

"Don't worry, I'll come up with valid reasons to convince you," Sammie smirked.

"I hate you!" Colton mumbled.

She chuckled, "I love you more, Mr. Royal."

"Before I forget, I have a request. Take very good care of Mia." Sammie spoke.

"You don't have to request that. It's my duty to take care of her and protect her and I've been doing just that."

Sammie smiled sweetly. "I know. I just want you to double your efforts. Be extra caring and protective of her from now on. Trust me, she needs more pampering."

Colton frowned. "Why do I have a feeling that there's more to your statement?"

"Gosh, Colt. You tend to overthink. Just take great care of your woman or you'll have me to deal with."
