Coming down from their high, Colton pulled up his pants, picked up Mia's clothing on the counter, and then carried her in a bridal style to the bedroom.
He gently laid her on the bed and got in beside her. Mia immediately snuggled up to him.
"Happy Birthday Baby." She said to him,
Colton smiled. "It's not even 6 am and it's already the best birthday I ever had."
Mia chuckled. "Stop exaggerating."
"I'm not. Thank you for waking me up this midnight. I'll never forget every single detail of what happened."
Mia smiled. "Me too. I think you should Thank our little one. I woke up because I wanted ice cream. Perhaps he or she wanted to be the first person to wish Daddy a happy birthday." She caressed his cheek. "You're going to be a good Father, Colton."
A small smile crept to Colton's lips. "I really hope so. The thought of a little human looking up to me for so many things sends chills down my spine. Despite my Father being a very busy person, he made time for me and my siblings. He taught us a lot of things. He didn't attend all of our school activities but he made sure he made it to the important ones."
"My father has always been my hero, we have a good relationship. Sometimes, I think he understands me better than my mom. I love and admire him so much and I hope I'm able to create such a bond with our baby too."
"I've never been a father before, I'm as nervous as much as I'm excited. But I promise to give my all. As far as we are together, I know we will do just fine. You're going to be a great mother too."
Mia nodded. "As much as we are grateful for this blessing, I have no doubt he or she is lucky to have us," Mia said, yawning.
Colton smiled. "Sure! So damn lucky. You should go to bed. We have a long day ahead of us."
"I love you," She said, kissing him.
"I love you, more. Babes!" He placed a long kiss on the crown of her head.

Mia and Colton spent their day indoors. They ate, went for a swim at the pool on the rooftop, Colton was on and off his phone, responding to people who wished him well for his birthday.
The parents-to-be had lunch, specially made by their chef. After lunch, they cuddled up to watch a movie after which they took a few hours nap.
Waking up, they started getting ready for the engagement party/ Colton's birthday party.
Colt finished dressing up before Mia. He crashed on the sofa in the living room and occupied himself with his phone.
After what felt like forever, Mia's voice came through. "How do I look, babe?"
Looking up, Colton froze where he was seated.
Because of his reaction, Mia was forced to look down at her outfit. She had looked at herself in the mirror before coming out and thought she looked okay.
"You don't like it?" She said, sounding heartbroken because she had wanted them to wear matching outfits. She got the dress a few days ago.
Colton didn't respond. He rose to his feet, staring at Mia as if this was the first time he was seeing her in his entire life.
She was putting on a nude short dress. It was an elegant dress and it looked so beautiful on her. She had her hair in a low ponytail and her heels and purse were the same color as the design on Colton's suit.
She was putting on his Grandmother's gifted necklace and she and Colton wore their matching bracelets. Mia also had beautiful earrings on and she applied a little bit of makeup. She wasn't a pro at it but she knew how to do something perfect for her face.
And to crown it all, She was glowing. Colton felt his heart was going to burst with so much pride. He couldn't believe the gorgeous woman standing before him was all his.
"God, Mia, You're so fucking beautiful." He whispered the moment he approached her.
She smiled in relief. "I got scared. Thought you didn't like my outfit."
"Like? I love it! I was trying to process the fact that this beauty queen standing before me belongs to me alone. You look so gorgeous, Mia, and I'm super proud of you."
She blushed. "I wanted to look good for you and I'm glad my efforts paid off. You look yummy too!" She kissed him.
"Yummy?" Colton arched his brow with a small smile playing on his lips.
Mia nodded. "You have no idea how much self-control I'm exercising right now. All I want to do is to jump on you."
Colton chuckled. "You're going to be the end of me, Mia. He kissed her lips. "I love that you're glowing."
She smiled. "Thanks to Colton junior."
"Colton junior? So we are rooting for a boy?"
Mia shrugged. "I said what came to my mind. I might be right, I might be wrong!"
Colton smiled, Staring at Mia adoringly, wondering what he did to deserve an amazing person like her. "I love you so much, babe." He said, looking into her beautiful eyes, then he placed a long kiss on her forehead.
"I don't know how to feel about your heels," Colton mumbled.
"I know. I would never joke with our baby's safety that's why I went for something that's not too high. I'll be careful. I promise."
Colt nodded. "I guess we should be on our way."

The ride to the Royal mansion was a fun and smooth one. The couple made conversations till they got to their destination.
"There are so many cars!" Mia mumbled the moment they pulled into the mansion. It was as if everyone had arrived before them.
"The amount of cars I'm seeing is reasonable enough. Mom used to invite a lot of people but I adjusted the guest list this time around. Anyone you see tonight is either a member of my family, your family, or part of the few close friends that we invited. Some of my business partners will be here too. I can't wait to introduce you to them." Colton said.
Mia nodded with a nervous smile.
Colton eventually spotted a parking space for his car. He got down, then went to the other side to open the door for Mia.
Once she was out of the car, he wrapped his arms around her waist. "There's no need to be nervous," He assured.
Mia chuckled, "please ignore me. I'm always nervous about everything."
Colt shook his head. "I'll never force you to do anything you don't want to do. It's okay if you don't want to go in. I'll just let Mom know that something came up."
"Of course not. Tonight is not only our engagement party. It is also your birthday party. People have come to celebrate with us so it makes no sense to back out. I may be nervous but I also look forward to tonight's event. Please don't think I don't want to be here because I really do" She caressed his cheek. "And I cannot wait to see the smile on everyone's face when we announce that we are going to be parents."
Colton smiled. "Me too." He leaned closer to Mia and kissed her.
With his hand on the small of her back, Colt led the love of his life to the backyard where the party was taking place.
Stepping in, they bumped into Ashley Royal.
