Chapter 98

Ch. 98 / 101 Jan 12, 2026

The whole family bonded for a couple of minutes and after a while, Colton excused himself, taking Mia with him.

"I have something to show you."

"You promised no more gifts until our wedding night," Mia mumbled with her hand around his waist.

Colton chuckled, placing a kiss on the side of her forehead. "I don't know if it's a gift but here you go." They came to a stop in front of a door and then he encouraged her to open up.

She hesitated for a while, looking at him suspiciously, but she eventually opened up.

"Surpriseeeeeeee!" The very familiar voices came through. Mia almost teared up as she stepped into the room filled with her family and close friends. The wedding was in five days and for some unknown reason, they all made Mia believe they would be in Greece two days before the wedding as they would be busy with work and other things but she was grateful that they were all here. Her Dad and Siblings, Tessie's husband and children who ran to Mia immediately, asking about their cousins (Chloe and Claire), Sammie, Hailey, Caleb, Ashley, Theodore, and Ashley's boyfriend, Boris.

"How and when did you all get here?" Mia said, hugging them one after the other.

"So you actually believed we were going to show up a day to the wedding?" Sammie smiled.

"I don't know. I guess I was just particular with you all being here on the day I got married to the love of my life." Mia smiled, hugging Hailey.

"Don't worry, we have so many activities planned out starting from tomorrow. And by the way, thank Colton for being the mastermind of all of these," Hailey whispered.

Mia took a glance at the man she loved most in the world and mouthed 'thank you' to him.

He smiled and blew her a kiss.

................

For the next few days, everyone busied themselves with the wedding preparations and also having fun. Mia met more members of Colton's family and they all explored the beautiful city of Santorini. It was really a fun pre-wedding experience.

The night before the big day, as soon as Mia finished putting the kids to bed, a knock came through on the door to She and Colton's room. It was a luxurious exclusive suite with two beautiful bassinets for her babies by the bedside.

Opening the door, Mia came face to face with her father.

"Dad," She smiled, kissed him on the cheek, then ushered him in.

"My grandbabies are already asleep?" He smiled, looking towards where their bassinet was.

"Yes, Dad. They are exhausted from playing with everyone."

Jack nodded as they both took a seat on a sofa.

"So, my baby girl is getting married tomorrow." He said with a proud smile.

Mia blushed. "Yes, Daddy. I'm finally going to marry the love of my life. I couldn't be happier or even more grateful. I should be nervous, right?" She chuckled. "But I'm not. I honestly can't wait to become Colton's wife."

Jack nodded with a smile on his face. "I can't wait to walk you down the aisle, to the man whom your heart belongs to."

He took Mia's hand in hers. "I'm so happy for you, my dear. I'm glad you have Colton in your life. I couldn't have asked for a better partner for you. The way he loves you is just so amazing."

Mia smiled. "Thanks, Dad! I still get so overwhelmed at times. Thinking of the first day Colton and I's path crossed," She chuckled at the memory. "Never did it cross my mind that he was going to be my future husband nor the father of my beautiful babies. Hell, I didn't even want kids."

Jack laughed. "Yes, my dear. We all make decisions and all of that but those decisions change when we meet THE ONE."

"I feel really fulfilled knowing my daughter is in safe hands. It's also a privilege to get to know and meet members of Colton's family. They are all amazing people."

"I know your Mom is very happy in heaven right now. I'm sure as hell that she cannot wait to witness her beautiful daughter walk down the aisle."

A sad smile crept to Mia's lips. "I miss her so much."

"We all do, my love. But we have to stay strong and happy. That's what she will want."

"I wish you nothing but happiness in your marriage, my love. You definitely deserve your happy ever after."

"Thanks, Dad," Mia smiled, engulfing her father in a hug.

They made more conversations about tomorrow's wedding until Jack took his leave.

Mia checked on her girls who were still sleeping soundly, then she went to the bathroom for a quick shower.

Coming out all dressed up for bed, She saw Colton standing by Claire's bassinet, watching the little girl as she slept.

"Hey," She smiled, walking over to him.

"Hi, Babe!" Colton smiled, embracing her in a hug. Pulling away, they shared a passionate kiss.

"This time tomorrow, we will be on our way for our honeymoon." He smiled as he looked down at her adorably, slowly caressing her cheek.

"You've refused to tell me where we are going!" Mia pouted.

"You will know when we get there. Don't worry, we are going to have a great time. Mom will be coming with us to help us with the twins but she's still going to give us our space as newlyweds."

"I can't believe I'll finally get to call you my wife. Dreams do come true, don't they?"

"They do, babes. I couldn't ask for a better man to be my husband. I love you so much, Colt."

"I love you more, sweetheart" He kissed her.

"I can't wait to see you in your dress tomorrow. I know you're going to be the most beautiful bride ever."

"Definitely!" Mia laughed.

"I can't wait to see you in your tux too. I just hope I will be able to resist jumping on you."

"I'll love that so much" He chuckled. "I feel like a lucky bastard right now, knowing you will officially be mine tomorrow. I'm not perfect, I have my own flaws. I also can't thank you enough for wanting to spend the rest of your life with me. I love you so much, Mia."

"There's no one I would rather spend the rest of my life with than you, Colton. We both have our flaws but that's what makes us a perfect couple. I really look forward to what the future has in store for us. I love you so much, Babe." She hugged him tightly.

Colton smiled, returning the hug. He placed a long kiss on Mia's head.
