Colton and Mia chatted a while with their group of friends when they got back outside. (Theo, Sammie, Enoch, and Hailey).
Then they all went ahead to have some food. After eating, Colton and Mia were told it was time to cut the cake. They took pictures and then they both gave their speech. (The couple basically thanked everyone who came to celebrate with them) and finally, they both announced their pregnancy which took everyone by surprise.
Well, everyone except Victoria, Sammie, and Hailey who noticed her symptoms when they were in Paris.
They've spoken to each other over the phone since they got back from Paris but Mia would always avoid answering their questions when they ask if she was truly pregnant.
Mia's Dad got emotional hearing that his princess was going to be a mother. He was really happy and made it known to Colton to take great care of his daughter and grandchild.
Tessie was ecstatic. She hugged Mia for almost a minute. Then she started acting like a mother hen, giving Mia tons of advice. She meant well actually. Mia's brothers were also very happy too.
"I knew you were pregnant when you felt sick that morning. I'm so glad you and Colt went to Sicily. For sure you all couldn't keep your hands off each other." Sammie winked at Mia who blushed. "Congratulations baby." She hugged Mia.
"Thank you, Love!" She responded.
"My baby is now a mom. Congratulations sweetheart!" Hailey hugged Mia
"Thank you, babes." She returned the hug.
"So, how is the journey to motherhood going?" Sammie smiled.
"It's going well. We had our ultrasound three days ago and the doctor confirmed that the baby and I are doing well."
"I'm sorry we didn't open up to you guys immediately. We just needed some time to process it all."
"It's fine, babe. We totally understand. And we will always respect you and Colton's privacy." Hailey said.
Sammie nodded in agreement.
"So how did you all feel when you heard the heartbeat?" Hailey couldn't help but ask.
Mia sighed, trying to find the right words to describe how She and Colt felt.
She smiled as she spoke. "My baby's heartbeat remains the most beautiful sound I've ever heard. Colton and I were overwhelmed. We both shed happy tears."
"There and then, the reality that a little human was growing in me hit me really hard. I couldn't be happier that I'm carrying the symbol of me and Colton's love. In all, I feel blessed."
"Of course you are blessed and you fucking deserve all the happiness that's coming your way. Congratulations sweetheart." Hailey hugged her best friend.
"Hailey's right. You and Colton deserve it all!" Sammie smiled sweetly at Mia.
Soon enough, their men approached them where they stood. "I hope you both are not torturing my woman." Colton's voice came through.
"No! You know we love Mia so much. We would rather torture you instead." Sammie smirked, going over to hug Colton.
"Congratulations, buddy. I'm so happy for you. How do you feel about becoming a father?" Sammie couldn't help but ask.
Colton smiled. "Thank you. I'm ecstatic. It was so hard keeping the news away from you all. But I'm glad we've finally been able to share our joy with you guys."
"We are really happy for you both. I cannot wait to spoil him or her. Congratulations." Hailey hugged Colt.
"Thank you so much, Hailey."
Theodore and Enoch congratulated Mia too.
"Okay, I have a question for you both, and I need an honest answer," Sammie said to Colt and Mia. Colton had his arms possessively wrapped around his fiancée.
"When is the wedding?" Then she turned her attention to Mia who had a smile on her glowing face. "I respect your decision and privacy, babe but please don't you dare request a small wedding."
"This man right here!" She pointed to Colton. "Loves you so fucking much and I know he will do any and everything to put a smile on your face. Trust me, he's ready to give you the world!"
"So my love, feel free to demand a BIG wedding. I'm sure Colton wouldn't mind flying us to Greece, Australia, the Bahamas, Mauritius, or any other country of your choice to have the wedding."
"There goes the manipulator!" Colton mumbled, which earned a chuckle from anyone.
As said before, he and Mia hadn't officially discussed anything about the wedding but Sammie was right. Colt was ready to give Mia her dream wedding! One that will go down in history.
