Entangled with the Billionaire

Chapter 93

Ch. 93 / 101 Jan 12, 2026

Mia was beyond overwhelmed where she was seated. She felt nothing but guilt and gratitude. Guilt because she allowed her mood swings to tamper with her relationship with Colt and gratitude because despite how bitchy she had been to him, he was still fighting for her against the woman who made her feel less of herself.

Colton went back to where he was previously seated. "Look Babe, you mean the world to me than any fucking job or partnership. If you had told me you weren't comfortable with me and Debbie working together, I would have disregarded the deal."

"I was told Joel was the one coming down to New York to finalize everything but it turned out to be Debbie, his wife. We had a business dinner after which I escorted her to the car. She was going to kiss me on the cheek but I wasn't looking and it landed on my lips. But I quickly pulled away. I don't understand how the media were so quick to circulate such pictures with misleading headlines."

"Seeing that post, you had every right to be angry but I thought you trusted me enough to ignore all that bullshit but instead, you did nothing but give me a cold attitude."

"I'm sorry." Mia cried. By this time, her eyes were red and she was already developing a headache. "It's not that I doubted you. I just got really jealous and decided to ignore you. I was ready to apologize and reconcile, then I met Debbie at the grocery store who said silly things to me."

"I honestly don't deserve you, Colton. Despite everything, you stood up for me against Debbie. I'm so sorry you had to back out from the deal."

"I'm sorry for everything I said earlier about wanting to break up with you. I didn't mean it, I swear. I just don't understand my emotions nowadays. I'm so fucked up." She sobbed.

Colton exhaled, went over to where she was seated, sat beside her, and engulfed her into a warm hug.

Mia did nothing but cry harder in his chest.

"God, I missed you! You have no idea how hard it is to be close to you and not be able to touch you, cuddle you, or even kiss you." Colton whispered.

Wiping away Mia's tears with his thumb, he placed a long kiss on her forehead.

"It's okay, my love. Please don't cry anymore. You don't need to feel guilty about me not going ahead with the deal with Debbie. Any disrespect to my future wife and children is a disrespect to me so she caused it all."

"I'm sorry for getting angry and ignoring you. I should have been more understanding about your mood swings and insecurities."

He raised her chin with his finger so she could look into his eyes with her puffy ones. "Forgive me for all that I said earlier. I didn't mean any of it. Never will I let you leave me. We are bound together for life. And we will both raise our children in our new home. Okay?"

Mia nodded.

He leaned closer to her and placed a long kiss on the crown of her head.

"I feel this is partly my fault too," Colton mumbled.

Mia shook her head.

"Yes, it is. For my woman to be referring to herself as a whale, it means I've not been doing enough." He caressed Mia's cheek.

"You're amazing, Mia. You're the most beautiful pregnant woman I've ever laid my eyes on. You're carrying two lives in you and you effortlessly remain gorgeous."

"I'll start taking you out more often. And at this point in our relationship, I don't think I'll hide you anymore. I want the world to know that Mia Edwards is my woman and the mother of our future children."

"I know I promised to hold on until you're ready before the official announcement but I don't think I can wait anymore. If the world knows about you, I'm sure they wouldn't be carrying silly rumors about my love life."

"You talked about wanting to do a maternity photoshoot. Have you decided when?" He asked Mia

"I was hoping for next week. Will you be willing to join us?" She asked, referring to herself and the twin Babies.

"Of course! There's nowhere I would rather be than to be with you all. We might as well use one of the pictures for an official announcement."

"I've never been a social media person but I think it's high time I created an account. Perhaps on Instagram. We could always share whatever we want over there."

"Thank you," Mia mumbled. "The situation could have been worse but Thank you for making us solve our differences."

Colton exhaled, tucking a few strands of stray hair behind Mia's ear. "Fight between couples is inevitable. I heard it makes us stronger. I do admire my parents' union but I know they have their ups and downs too."

"We all hated it when they fought. The environment was always so tense. I'm not promising you that this is going to be our last fight but I want us to always be open to each other. If you had discussed how you felt about me working with Debbie at the beginning, perhaps we wouldn't be having this conversation."

Mia nodded. "I promise to change. Thank you for always being patient with me."

"Anything for you, my love." He leaned closer to her and took her lips in his. The kiss was soft and very passionate, with the duo pouring their hearts in it.

When they pulled away, Mia reached for Colton's hand and placed it on her bump. Instantly they both felt a movement that made both parents smile. "They miss you." She said,

"I miss them too." Colton got on his knees and showered kisses all over her tummy.

"Have you had dinner already?" He asked, taking a seat beside her.

"I had a sandwich. But I think I'll have some ice cream now. Will you be going to work tomorrow?" She whispered.

"No. I don't work on weekends anymore, remember? Last week was an exception because we weren't on good terms. I plan to spend the whole of tomorrow with you."

"We will be going out for lunch and from there, we will head over to Theodore's place. He's throwing a small party in his home so we are invited."

"Party? What's the theme?" Mia asked.

"He only said we should wear whatever we are comfortable with."

Mia nodded.

She cupped Colton's face in her hands, "I'm glad we are on good terms. Thank you for loving me despite my imperfections."

Colton smiled. "You're so cute!"

Mia rolled her eyes. "I almost lost you due to my sassiness and you're telling me that I'm cute." She pouted.

He chuckled a little. "I admit that I was mad but there was no way I was ever going to let you break up with me. Σ 'αγαπώ τόσο πολύ, Queen Mia." He said, taking her lips in his.

Mia smiled against his lips. "I love you too, my King!"
