Alpha's Redemption: A Second Chance Mate

Chapter 25: Powerless

Ch. 25 / 70 Jan 22, 2025

Darian's POV

"And where are the supreme Alphas?" I asked him.

"They are now the ones ruling the pack," he said to me while avoiding my gaze.

"What!" I exclaimed in surprise once again.

Without uttering a word to my beta, I turned around and started walking towards the entrance of the castle, fuming in anger, ignoring the callings of my beta, who was trying to inform me to be careful with them because they are dangerous.

As I was walking in, I could already feel my face covered with wolf hair and my claws making their way out because of the anger that was boiling in my heart.

Once I got inside the court chamber, just as expected, I saw the supreme Alphas sitting on my throne. They had already completed two more thrones beside my throne, making it three thrones, and they were seated on their different thrones, grinning ear to ear.

"There you are, Alpha Darian; we thought that you were dead," one of the supreme Alphas said to me while grinning ear to ear.

"Well, I'm not dead, and can you all get the hell off my throne?" I said to them, my voice raising angrily.

"We are sorry, Alpha Darian, but we can't do that, and by the way, where is your mate?" One of them asked me, but I remained silent, my red, glowing eyes glaring at them.

"Seems like he didn't find her," one of the supreme Alphas said to the other.

"And it seems like he also wants to fight," the other said to him in reply before turning his gaze towards me.

"I will not like to repeat myself again; get the hell off my throne or you won't like what I will do next," I said to them, my voice raising in anger.

From the sound of my voice, it was clear to them that I was going to shift in no time and that what was going to happen next was going to be drastic.

"And who do you think you are, Alpha Darian?" Their voices echoed together as they stood up from the thrones.

"We are the supreme Alphas, and you will respect us whether you like it or not," the voices echoed in unison once again.

"It seems like you want to fight Alpha Darian; why don't you come and fight us?" Their voices echoed in unison, and afterwards they did something that almost ran me crazy.

Holding their hands together, they started merging together, and in just a twinkle of an eye, the three supreme Alphas were now three in one.

When I saw the beast standing some distance away from me, my heart skipped immediately, and without realizing it, my claws went in back and the colors of my eyes changed back to their normal color. Saying that I was afraid was an understatement; I was terrified, and I have never been terrified in such a manner before. As if that wasn't enough, they started shifting into their wolf form, and once the shifting was over, their head was now touching the roof.

Knowing that I had no chance against the beast that was standing before me, the only thing that I could think about was running for my life, and without thinking twice, I started taking some steps backward, looking for the perfect opportunity to run out of the court chamber without them catching up on me. But before I could take any steps backward, they vanished, and immediately I felt something slamming hardly against my head, and immediately I passed out.

I woke up some hours later only to find myself in the castle's dungeon. Who would have thought that the great Alpha Darian would one day be put in the same dungeon where he puts all those who go against his rules and regulations?

Once I woke up, the first thought that came to my mind was Elena. How am I going to stop Richard from marking her if I don't get the hell out of this dungeon?

"Wait just a minute, am I really stuck in a dungeon?" I asked myself, remembering that I could easily break down the steel gate of the dungeon and walk away, but once I stood and was about to walk, something withheld my leg. Looking down, I realized that my legs were bound with silver chains.

"Damnit," I muttered to myself, remembering that I was the one who brought those silver chains for the prisoners. I made them in such a way that they wouldn't hurt the person who was bound by them, but he dared not touch them because they would burn him severely.

Knowing that I needed to get out of that dungeon as soon as possible, I started forcing myself towards the steel gate of the dungeon, ignoring the effect of the silver chain. After struggling for some minutes, I finally approached the steel gate, and from the perspective of things, all I needed to do was take hold of the silver gate and draw a little bit, and I would break free from the silver chain without touching it, but what happened after that wasn't exactly what I was expecting.

Once I reached the steel gate and touched it, I felt a high current running through my body. I only realized what was going on when I crashed myself against the wall of the dungeon. I didn't need to think twice before knowing that the gate had been replaced with a high-quality silver gate.

"Seriously?" My voice echoed in frustration, and I'm sure that even the supreme Alphas heard my voice.

After some minutes, the gate of the dungeon burst open, and immediately the three supreme Alphas started walking inside, a wicked smile hovering over their faces.

Once they came in, three of my guards ran in with some chairs and kept them for them to sit down, and without hesitating, they sat down, ignoring my angry stare.

"Hello, the mighty Alpha Darian. I hope you are ready for your execution. What will be your last prayers and wishes?" One of them asked me with a wicked smirk.
