Darian's POV
"Hello, the mighty Alpha Darian. I hope you are ready for your execution. What will be your last prayers and wishes?" One of them asked me with a wicked smirk hovering over his face.
"Execution?" I asked them before shaking my head in disbelief. "If there's anyone who is supposed to be executed, I think it's the three of you," I said to them, my voice raising in anger.
"Really? And what makes you think that we are the ones who are supposed to be executed, Alpha Darian?" One of them asked me with a wicked grin.
"Well, that's the punishment reserved for thieves like you," I said to them, and immediately they glanced at each other while grinning ear to ear, and suddenly one of them vanished. The next thing I felt was a hand gripping my neck from behind and pulling me up from the ground. No matter how hard I tried to break free, the grip of the hand kept tightening on the neck, lifting me up, and afterwards I was thrown towards the others. Once they saw me flying towards them, they left the way, and immediately I crashed into the silver gate that projected me back to the wall.
"Alpha Darian, we know that you are the strongest Alpha among all the other Alphas, but you don't stand any chance against us, so it's of no use trying to play the hard Alpha with us and mind you; if we want, we can kill you right here, and no one will question us because of that," they said to me, but I remained silent while wincing in pain.
"Why are you people doing this to me? Haven't I been loyal to all of you, so why are you trying to take my pack away from me?" I asked them while wriggling in pain.
"Actually, Alpha Darian, we weren't planning to take your pack away from you, but when we heard that since over a month you went in search of your mate, you haven't been back, we decided to check on the pack and see how things were going, but when we arrived, things weren't in order, so we decided to take over until your return," they said to me as I was still struggling to sit up.
"Well, I'm back, so why are you people still here?" I asked them, my voice raising in anger.
"It's true that you are back, Darian, but you came back empty-handed, no mate, no heir to the throne, or is your mate dead?" One of them asked me, and immediately I felt the urge to jump on him and claw his head off his neck, but remembering what happened some hours ago, I changed my mind immediately.
"She's still alive, including the heir to the throne, and I need my soldiers in order to bring her back," I said to them.
"Well, you could have said that instead of attacking us, forgetting who we are, we will allow you to take the soldiers, but mind you, you have only forty hours to return back with your mate and the Alpha pup; failure to do that, we will become the new rulers of the Wolfeenwood pack," they said to me before turning away and walking out.
I stayed awake through out the whole night staring at nothing; all I could think of was Elena and my pup. It didn't matter to me whether the Supreme Alphas took over my pack or not; all I wanted was to win Elena back; only if I had the possibility to go back to the past and change my mistakes would I have done it, but unfortunately that isn't possible. All I can do now is repair my past mistakes with the decisions I'm making presently while assuming the consequences of my past mistakes and learning from them.
As these thoughts were running through my mind, the steel gate of the dungeon burst open, and immediately one of my guards walked in. Once they walked in, they prostrated themselves before me, showing me that they were still loyal to me.
Without hesitating, I started losing the silver chains that were used to bound my legs.
"Pardon us, Alpha; if we didn't try to help you, it's because the supreme Alphas are watching our every move, and we don't know what they did to our mind link since, since they arrived, we are unable to mind link with each other," one of the guards whispered to me while losing the chains.
"I'm happy to know that you guys are still loyal to me," I whispered to them while standing up.
"My main aim is to bring my mate, and afterwards I will take care of them," I whispered to them, and they nodded in agreement.
"By the way, I need the names of all the loyal soldiers; I don't want any intruders among us," I said to them, and immediately they cited all the loyal soldiers to me, including my beta.
Afterwards, we exited the dungeon and started heading towards the court chamber. When we arrived at the court chamber, I saw the supreme alphas sitting where they were before, one sitting on my throne and the two others sitting on the two thrones they had brought newly.
As I was standing there watching them sit on the throne I had fought all my life to secure, I couldn't help but fume in anger. I was finally understanding why Ciara hated them with passion, but knowing that I had something to take care of, I decided to keep my calm and dance to the rhythm of their music, knowing that after claiming back my mate, I would come for them, and when I did, they would be the ones dancing to the rhythm of my music.
"Alpha Darian, are you listening to what we are saying?" The voice of one of the supremes echoed, jerking me back to reality.
"Yes," I lied.
"Yes dog?" He asked me while glaring at me.
"Yes, my lord," I corrected myself.
"Perfect, you are free to choose the soldiers that you want, but it mustn't be more than twenty soldiers because we need soldiers here too in case of uncertainties. Mind you, you have only forty-eight hours, and if you aren't back after that, you might as well stay where you are because if you come back here, the only position that will be awaiting you is that of a gatekeeper. You may leave," one of them said to me, and without uttering a word, I started walking outside while trying my best not to lose control of myself like the first time.
