It was night and I found myself alone in a thick forest.
I was being pursued by a white Lion. I ran as fast as I could.
My mum was far away yelling my name, begging me to stop running but I couldn't.
It felt like my legs suddenly had a mind of their own. I looked behind me to see that I was far away from my mom and was now plunged deeper into the bush. A car from no where hits me sending me tumbling down.
"Jesus!" I screamed, as my eyes flew open. Beads of sweat broke out on my forehead. My heart was racing and my legs kept shaking.
"Awww our Reina is awake." A voice sang from above me. The room was completely dark so I had no clue where the voice was coming from, but I knew it was from a woman.
She was pointing a torch at me and smiling. I squinted my eyes, to try to see past the blinding yellow light but it was too bright, I couldn't make out her features.
"Fuck!" I exclaimed, standing up from the mat. Tears and sweat dried on my face which made it very sticky. The top part of my shirt stuck to my body making me feel even more uncomfortable.
'I had fallen asleep in this shit hole', I thought as I pulled the robe tighter around me. I couldn't still get a clear view of the woman.
"That's not a way to speak princess. Lion has said so much about you. I don't want to believe that he was only lying." She sighed, clicking her tongue as though she was finding my predicament amusing. Of course she was.
She moved the torch away from my eyes affording me the opportunity to take a glance at her face. She wreaked of power and danger.
A plastic sickening smile remained on her face as she spoke but in her eyes there was something else, it was a dark emotion too but a stronger devil.
I couldn't make out what it was. Fear, pain, envy. It could be all of these or non.
I had expected it to be Lisa taking her revenge on me like the DPO predicted but this here, I didn't know what to think. It made me even more scared because I didn't know her, neither did I know what her motives were for taking me.
She motioned for one of the guys who had kidnapped me to bring a chair for her. He ran out and came back immediately with a small iron chair.
He placed it on the cold cemented ground and she gave him a grateful smile.
Her eyes did not leave me even as she sat.
"You know I have been wondering what white lion sees in you that he is willing to give it all up for you. So I decided to see for myself, but you are just an ordinary teen. I must confess I am disappointed." The tone of her voice was degrading in all sense of the world. She clicked her tongue and shook her head, "But is his choice anyway. Even if its a choice I won't have approved of and very rightly so since its a choice that will lead him to his death. "
I clenched and unclenched my fist. I felt like smashing her head on the wall at how insulting she was.
I might be young but that didn't make me any less of a woman.
"Oh she's seething." The woman chuckled. "Common I mean do not get me wrong you are pretty but I expected someone you know, a little bit more special."
"Can you tell me why I am here?" I hissed, moving away from the mat with a disgusted look on my face.
"And I don't know any white lion. He is a criminal and I don't associate with criminals. So it really isn't my business who he likes. Your expectations also mean nothing to me."
I wrapped my hands around me to stop me from shivering any further. My heart seemed to be running a race, sprinting far away from pain, confusion and anger.
"Oh I haven't introduced myself!" The woman gasped as if she couldn't quite believe that she had omitted it.
She was beautiful, even the little light in the room couldn't hide it. Her fair skin, her almost glowing features.
"My name is Sophia you must have heard about me from white lion maybe?"
