My eyes gently fluttered open when the noise In the room became too loud for my mind to shut out.
My head was aching so bad and my eyes dripped of water when I opened them. My heart laid placid in my chest, I could barely hear it beating.
When my eyes finally opened, I blinked it profusely to clear my vision.
I started to remember things rather weakly as my head ached with passion.
Where am I? Has Scar come to save me?
"Mira." My mum sobbed, throwing her arms around me. She squeezed me into a warm embrace. I breathed in heavily, my head was hurting, but I could not tell my mum to let go of me because I needed more than anything the comfort her arms gave me.
Also, I understood how worried she was after the call so I just let her hug me tight.
She pressed my face in her palms. "Mira baby... I was so worried for you." Her voice trailed of as drops of tears fell down her eyes. "Where is Scar? I thought he was with you."
I was still unable to say anything even though there were a lot of things to say. My mind was running around in circles with the thoughts buried in it.
I tried to sit up against the wall and succeeded.
"Wow... Wow..Wow.. Scar...Scar.. Scar." Sophia laughed walking in. She started clapping and laughing hysterically as if she had gone mad.
From when she opened the door I could tell that it was now evening. The sun was starting to go down, but it was not dark yet
She leaned against the wall, watching me keenly. My eyes were fixed on hers as hers were on mine.
She looked quite amused and a little exasperated. She was wearing a tight jean trouser and a black long sleeved crop shirt. Her attachment was curled and she looked beautiful with her fair skin, small statue, and small lips. She looked like someone who could easily seduce any man.
"He has really blinded you all and taken your heart with him. Well since you both are so eager to find him let me give him a call."
She leaned out of the wall. "Black!" She called out.
Black walked into the room just then. He glared at me and I looked away, holding my mum firmly.
It was selfish of me to think but I was glad that I was no longer alone.
"Put a call across to their Scar." Sophia instructed.
Black brought out the same Nokia phone he had used to call my mum from his jean pocket, then he dialed a number on it.
I looked at my mum who was glaring hard at me. We both had the same shocked expression on our faces.
What the hell was going on?
"Put it on speaker Black and pass it to me." Sophia instructed, and again Black does exactly that. He was like a puppet to her, he did all that he was told to do.
"Hello Lion." Sophia said, casually . A thick powerful bass voice replied her. It was the voice of Scar with a little more power and confidence.
My mum looked just as shocked as I was.
It cannot be white lion who is Scar, the woman was playing games with us. Just like black had said, it was all a game.
I pressed my mums hands to reassure her. "They are only messing with us mum." I whispered.
She nodded looking convinced by what I said. She was not going to believe their lies just like I wasn't.
"Where is Mira?" Scar asked. His voice was calm, but it was deadly. I shivered from it and I saw that even with the smile on Sophia's face she was just as afraid as I was about the power in White Lion's voice.
"She is here but she has been asking of you as expected so If you want her come and get her." Sophia drawled.
She was good, even though everyone could she how shaken she was she managed to keep it out of her voice.
"You will not hurt her Sophia. Oh you will not hurt her or Even hell will reject your body when I am through with you. Even hell Sophia!" He barked.
His voice was dark, dreadful and even with how quiet it was it sent shivers down the spine of everyone in the room
Sophia managed to speak through the shiver. "Of course even a damn fool will not hurt your Reina. I am not Ken I do respect my boundaries, but who is to say that the same will apply for sweet Mrs Amelia here."
"Sophia do not wake a sleeping Lion!" He warned. "It will hunt you, it will find you and it will kill you and your pack."
Sophia scoffed.
"I will like to see you try." "If you want your Queen and her mother then you have to be here in the next thirty minutes otherwise your Reina will meet all of the men who you have brutally murdered Lion. And you had better come alone. The game is mine to play now and we will all play by my rules." Sophia said and Hung up.
She smiled at me and my mum. "So let the game begin. Who wants to play?"
My eyes widened in shock as my heart again stopped beating. Nothing was making sense. Nothing at all.
"Mira what is going on?" My mum asked, in a gentle whisper.
We both held on to each other knowing that we were the only ones we had. It was just me and her now, and no one was coming to save us.
My hands trembled as I took in a deep breath.
I tried to keep my tears at bay but they kept on falling down.
I could no longer deny that with every passing second I become even more afraid that Sophia was in fact saying the truth and I had been fooled all this while.
No it cant be!
Scar is not white Lion!
