Noah drove down a small cliff and stopped at the side of a rather small land space.
From the corner of my eyes I could ass a small building, just at the right. It was definitely where he was taking me to.
I used to pass this same cafe every day while I drove to my masters classes and back when I returned.
I never for once stopped to see what it really looked like but a part of me had always wanted to see the inside since it was the only Cafe within reach of this area.
The restaurant is small from the outside and I wondered if it was any different inside. Maybe a wider space than the cubicle it looks from the outside.
"You seem to like small places. One with your money would feel the need to show of in exquisite locations?" I commented as I stared out into the open space.
I turned around to watch him while he shuts down the engine.
His eyes immediately came back to me and he brought his hands over my chair.
Just his hand so close to me sent shivers down my entire body. I wanted them around me, on me, in....
It was on the tip of my tongue to ask him to remove his hovering hands, but damn me to hell if I made me him aware of how badly his nearness affected me.
He glared at me but I looked straight ahead refusing to look at those beautiful eyes that spoke so much emotions.
"Well I chose the first because it was my usual. It was home to me and from the first time I set my eyes on you, you did look like home to me. So I wanted to bring you to a place where I knew you would feel comfortable."
"And how do you know that I won't feel much more comfortable in extravagant places?" I dared to ask, turning to face him now for I needed to know every bit of what he was hiding every one of his secrets.
I needed to see his truth and his lies, so even though I was scared that his eyes could dip me into eternal damnation I still dared to look at them.
He smiled as if the question wasn't what it was, a trap. "I saw it in your eyes."
"The best answer for liars and those who keep a lot of secrets. 'I saw it in your eyes.' How believable that is." I scoffed.
His smile immediately disappeared replaced by a curious stare. "Are you trying to say something to me?"
"Am I?"
He smirked as he suddenly started leaning in closer to me. I remain still as a statue my eyes on the forestry in front my heart racing like in a speed that threatened to render me boneless and mindless.
"Well to me big restaurants, explicit extravagance on the first dates are a matter of show off. I mean I would prefer to know the woman I care about first in a place where we would be alone. I'm a sucker for small calm places. They help me concentrate and I am a sucker for you." He whispered. His voice lingered in my soul setting it on fire. Soon enough the cold around turned into flaming heat.
This was not how the dinner was supposed to go. I was supposed to ask him questions until he divulges if he was Scar or not. I wasn't supposed to be craving his touch and his lips.
"Am I a work for you to concentrate on?" I sigh. I had wanted my voice to come out pissed but instead it was soft like a mere brushing of the skin, like a plea for mercy.
"Your words?" He replied. "But its all about perspective. If you want me to show of, then by all means I would."
"No. I'm not here for the money. I'm here for you." I insisted turning around to face him and that was a big mistake as my lips almost crashed with his. My heart stopped instantly and I swallowed.
His eyes never left mine as the world stopped around us and I found myself licking my lips in expectations. And just as my eyes began to travel down his lips so did his.
We were desiring, craving, a force was pushing us together and a force was pulling us away from each other.
The push and pull of it all was exactly what made my feelings so indestructible. It was taking over my mind and my body and my soul.
Noah licked his lips too and my body took over. The force that was pushing me to him started to overtake the one pulling me away from him.
I closed my eyes and started to lean in further dying to touch his lips with mine. But Rather I felt his hands on my seat beat as he gently in belt as he gently unbuttoned it his hands lingered a bit on my stomach.
"Your need for me is as consuming as mine for you but first you must get to know me." He whispered in my ears and I unceremoniously clawed at his seat because never had I felt so much pressure in my core.
