WHITE LION'S POV
Sweat stung my eyes like tiny vipers, dripping down from a gore sprayed face. My heart pounded in my head, loud and frantic.
Soon the sound was replaced by bullets all pointed at my direction.
All around became nothing but a whirlwind of disorder and violence, a blur of color and vicious motion and death.
Deafening blood pounded in my ears, drumming to a ferocious beat inside my heart.
I was able to tune down the sound of my heart beat when my fathers voice slipped through my mind.
Lions fight till death.
Remembering his voice enabled me to run into the compound, blocking out the fear of dying.
"Follow me! We end this today!" I shouted with mirth.
It was an order that left no room for question, and immediately all my men began to run up behind me.
Footsteps on hard ground and bullets flying in the air, the compound had turned into a war zone.
Everyone took cover, behind walls, behind tables and behind the gate.
With skill I ran to the garden. I sprawled down on the ground, making sure to bring my gun up.
My vision was almost blurry as I looked up at the roof where bullets peddled in quantum.
Sucking in a deep breath I positioned by gun slightly above my head, channelling all my expertise.
One, two, three, they started to fall down and soon all I took out all the snipers on the roof.
Some fell into the pool, some on the hard ground.
One bullet touched my chest but the vest I wore prevented it from harming me although it didn't stop it from hurting pretty bad.
"Lion are you OK?" Marcus asked, he was by my side already amidst all the chaos and shooting.
I sprawled up the wall and leaned on it. My chest felt like it had been hit my a hammer and I sucked in air trying to drown the pain but it only increased it.
"Shit." I croaked out.
"Do you want me to get you out till you recover?" Marcus asked.
Always so loyal.
Just then three men started to run to our direction. They all looked the same under the white light of the poll facing them.
The moon Illuminated their path as if wanting to show light to their death.
Other of their men and very few of mine were now on the ground.
We would win. I made sure of that when I took down the men on the roof.
The three men started working towards us, shooting sporadically.
Marcus rushed to one of the iron tabled and pushed it down.
We both took cover in, Marcus behind it.
My skull hammered hard, almost tearing me apart.
"I ran out of bullet." Take mine. Marcus said handing me his gun even before I could object.
I looked at the gun at my hand and back at him. "What about you?" I yelled out, panting through the pain in my head and chest.
There was no time to heat him out as the men had started to come even closer.
I stood up swiftly and shot at two in a blink.
One man had come close enough to kick the gun out of my hand.
I grabbed him and smashed his head on the edge of the table over and over, only satisfied when I had the familiar noise of his neck cracking.
My eyes were starting to sting and my brain pound. Nelson had gathered even more men that I had accounted for.
Breathing heavily, I looked back to see that Marcus was longer by my side or around me for that matter.
My heart skipped a beat as I took in the paleness of air surrounding me now.
All-around was quiet, as quiet as a grave yard.
Sweating and limping I kicked the bodies of the men I had just killed out of the way and the iron table farther.
The brown stone ground was stained with blood as I picked up two AK-47 which had belonged to the dead men.
But dead men don't need guns.
I slung one of them on my, shoulders and carried the other. One hand on the trigger and the other on the base.
With expert eyes I started to make my way though the open doors of the mansion, in search of my right hand man and the woman I came here to save.
