I closed my eyes and reopened it again, then I exhaled deeply. "I have told you that I do not know any white lion. I have only heard about him, I have never met him. As for your name, Kidnapping someone hardly sounds like a formal gathering hence the introduction is a bit unnecessary don't you agree?"
"Well you will soon know him." She smiled wickedly. She turned to one of her men and nods in my direction. "How do you suggest we make her remember?" Her voice came out as amusing but I could hear something else in it. Helplessness.
"I say we kill her. When she goes to heaven she will remember all she has forgotten." The man laughed.
A gust of wind hit me just then and the moon settled on her face as though the universe was agreeing with her death.
I moved back in fear, slowly shaking my head as Sophia looked at me like she was considering his suggestion.
"I do not want to anger White Lion any further."Do you still insist that you do not know white lion Mira?" Sophia asked, grinning widely.
I stomped my feet on the ground this time around. "I do not know him!" I screamed. "You have gotten the wrong girl, I swear that this is some kind of misunderstanding."
"For a girl who has been kidnapped you seem rather brave," she replied. "Let's hope that your Scar comes for you. He is your Lion after all right?"
"You are out of your mind! Just let me get out of here!" I yelled. "Someone help me! Anyone!" I cried out.
"Am I really out of my mind? Oh dear. So tell me, haven't you heard anyone, anyone at all call him Lion?" She looked really curious to know what my answer would be, it was in her eyes.
It was then I started to remember, to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. My head started to ache as flashes of memories invaded my mind.
I saw the girls again, this time in my mind_ their hands were bound and my hands were bound too. We were all struggling but we lost. I saw guns and blood and a white figure, then there was light so bright my eyes burnt from it. I fell on my knees as the flashes kept coming. A migraine set in as I tried to remember the colour of the white figures eyes and where I had seen it before.
Scar.
Ken.
Lisa's hired thug.
Lion.
Lion.
My vision became blurry and then dark all at once.
I opened my eyes and closed them immediately when I saw that I was enveloped by darkness. My head ached so bad, my mind was everywhere and no where at once.
I was thinking so much, about everything and about nothing at the same time.
So many thoughts were going through my mind. I just wanted Scar with me. I needed him to come get me. I was struggling to take in air as teardrops fell down my eyes.
Suddenly the door was pushed open and ray of sunlight from outside hit my eyes. I squinted, sitting up.
I wiped my face with the back of my hand, as awareness dawned on me. It was not a dream.
Nothing about yesterday was a dream.
I laid back on the mat pretending to be asleep. My heart was beating so fast against my ribcage_ I was afraid of what would come. For the first time I wished I was actually taken by Ken at least then I would know what he wanted from me, which was me.
These people... They were strange. I had never seen them before and I didn't know who they were or what they wanted from me and it scared me more than Ken ever did.
The woman.. She knew me but how? I had never met her before. If I did I would remember her face.
I focused my mind on Scar. I knew he was coming soon. I just had to wait for him.
I tried to steady my breath even though my hands started shaking when I noticed that the stranger was walking further into the room. I stopped breathing entirely since I couldn't control my breath. I could feel his presence and knew that he was now standing so close to me.
"Morning sunshine, I know you are awake." He sang from above me. I recognized his voice as the same man who had taken me from my room.
I didn't move or breath. I wanted him to leave, and to do so I had to convince him that I was still asleep.
Hopefully it would work.
It didn't.
I exhaled softly through my mouth, as soon I felt like I was about to pass out from holding my breath for so long.
He wasn't leaving.
He knelt down besides me and caressed my face. "You are so pretty what a shame! You already belong to him but_" He leaned down so his lips were close to my jaw. "Well White lion won't know about this would he? And even if he did he wouldn't be able to do anything about it."
The man started to lean down slowly until I could feel his breath on my cheek.
"Stop!" I exclaimed, bolting up from the mat.
My legs were shaking so bad as though it were dancing to the tune of my racing heartbeat.
'As if it was not enough torment that I had fallen asleep in this shit hole, this sick bastard also wants to take advantage of me.
Sweat trickled down my face but it didn't stop me pulling my robe tighter around me as if it could protect me from all harm.
