My mum rushed to me. "Stop speaking to her!" She screamed at Sophia.
"Mira look at me I'm here." She begged, pressing my cheek between her hands.
"But this is where the story gets interesting I can't stop!" Sophia pouted. "Where was I? Yes. So boy pretends to be disfigured and stalks girl to draw girls pity. Then he offers a deal to Ken. Ken will be your demon and in return he will have his long awaited merger with White Lion. You see boy wanted to be the angel in your life so bad and without the devil there can be no angel, without the dark there can be no light.
"But Boy didn't know about your past with Ken. Neither did he know that Ken was as slimy as a snake. But it was all his plan anyway. Ken just added some more spice to it, the fire was a spice. I guess he just wanted to cook up the plan." She laughed.
"Scar didn't plan that but he suspected it. Ken lost track of the rules of the game when he started falling in love with you over again so boy sets him up and arrests him. Then he kills him for touching you. You see white lion plays the game of love like war. No rules apply to him. To him all is fair in love, he was seeking your love and he was going to get it by all means possible. And that love is going to destroy you both."
"No! No! No! That's a lie! Everything you said is a lie. I know it. White lion isn't Scar. You are a liar." I yelled and charged at her. But for my mum who held me back I would have plucked her eyes out. "You are a sick person! What do you want from me! Liar!"
"Don't worry Reina the time has come for you to know who the liar is between me and your Scar. The innocent spectator who so happens to be me or the Angel who happens to be a liar, a criminal and a crazy stalker."
"You make me sick!" I scoffed, tears streaming down my face. My heart beat rapidly against my chest.
"You have to calm down." My mum pleaded with me. "Calm down!"
"Tell me that she is lying mum. Tell me!" But my mum doesn't say anything, she believed Sophia.
I remembered the kidnap, the car, the accident, the doctor. I remembered it all. I moved away from my mum hurt with shock and betrayal.
"It was all a game Mira. Common don't be so hard on yourself. You couldn't have known."
I slumped down on my knees and my mom kneeled too. She wrapped her arms around me consoling me as I sobbed my heart out.
I couldn't believe that all I had shared with Scar was just a game to him. That it was all just lies, all pretenses, that it was all planned and that he was the demon. The demon, not my guardian angel.
"Sophia!." A loud voice called from outside the hut, sending shivers down my spine and the hearts of everyone in the room.
"Sophia!" Scar called again. This time he sounded angrier. His voice was deadlier and colder. "Come out Sophia Don't let me find you. Do not let me find you Sophia!"
With each word white Lion Spoke Sophia tensed up more. From across the room the unsteady state of her heart could be heard.
She opened the door and stepped out of the room. We walked slowly behind her.
The sun was just setting and it was beautiful. I breathed in deeply. I felt as if the trees were closing in on me and the mud would swallow me in.
White Lion was with two guns and his eyes were blood red. "Sophia let them go!" White lion instructed, drawing a laughter from her.
"Scar." I called, hoping beyond everything that all that Sophia had said would turn out to be just a lie.
My hope was squashed when White Lion at me with confirmation in his eyes.
It was him. He was Scar.
I started to move back in fear.
"Mira listen to me. I can explain." He begged.
"You lied to me!" I yelled.
My mom stayed behind me patting my back. "You have to stay strong Mira, this is not the time to be weak."
A gust of wind blew with fervour and I shuddered.
There was not one of Sophia's men in sight, but I knew that they were all around waiting for the go ahead from to kill Scar. I had to protect him.
"What did you tell her. Sophia I will kill you!" Scar yelled, charging towards us.
"Scar run! It is an ambush!" I shouted as I tried to run to him but my mum held me back.
"Shoot! Black shoot!" Sophia yelled
The gun shots came from both corners of the hut but he was hit only on his chest.
White Lion fell down on the floor in a pool of his own blood.
"Scar!" I shouted, rushing to him. I knelt down besides him and gently placed his head on my thighs. "Don't leave me please!" I wailed.
"You.. You..are all that matters to me Mira. You are my world." He stuttered, coughing out blood.
"Don't! Don't leave me Scar. Please. I can't live without you! I love you. I love you so much. I love you, whoever you are. I love you." I sobbed. I bent down slowly and kissed him gently on the lips. "I need you."
"I love you, Mira." Scar whispered, with his last breath.
