The Gang Leader's Obsession

Chapter 159

Ch. 159 / 185 Jun 03, 2025

My heart skipped at his tone.

I glared into his blazing eyes which the red light in the club highlighted. He was dressed in a black Jean and white shirt. He had on a diamond earring on one Ear and a gold pin on the other ear.

"Let go of me right this instant!" I spat.

"And why will I let go of such a beauty like you?" He asked, with a dangerous smirk. My insides clenched with fear at the tone of his voice.

"Because I said so and because I do not want to dance with you!" I replied. "Look I am sorry I pulled you over but can you please just let go. I came with somebody." My voice went from sassy to pleading in an instant.

"You have a boyfriend?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at me.

"I do not see how that's any concern of yours." I abruptly replied. "Look I'm sorry for pulling you over."

"You are extremely beautiful and when I saw you I couldn't help but come to you. You swept me off my feet I was taking aback by your beauty____ So I definitely do not hold it against you for pulling me. In fact I would have If you didn't__"

"Oh please spare me this stories. Like I am in no mood for it and I am so not the kind of girl you use this kind of lines on." I hissed, running out of patience.

I tried to walk away again, but he held on to my wrist forcing me to meet his eyes.

"I just told you that you are beautiful and you say that. How rude!" He growled.

His eyes flashed with anger and my heart immediately picked up a fast pace.

I looked around to see if anyone was watching just in case he tried to hurt me but everyone seemed to be so engrossed in the music and the fun I was just lost in the crowd.

"I already know that I am beautiful I don't need you to affirm it." I said through clenched teeth, trying to wriggle my wrist out of his hands.

"I was only stating facts." He smiled. "But I do love your confidence Baby girl."

"State facts for the lawyers and not me, I do not need facts! Now if you will excuse me I must take my leave and should you care to know it has not been great talking to you."

I turned to take my leave but he grabbed my waist pulling me to him. My heart started to beat a lot faster as I felt my confidence diminish.

"Are you out of your damn mind? Let Me go!" I screamed.

"And like I said I won't!"

"You are out of your damn mind Mr, I can see that now let me go do not make me force you to..."

"She said let her go or do you need an interpreter if you do tell me in what language so I can get you one, you know it will be my pleasure to do so." A familiar voice interrupted.

I whirled my head around to see who my savior was. My heart stopped when I took in the man in front of me.

Black!

What was he doing here? I asked myself.

I thought, I didn't know what I thought. After the day Scar died I never saw anyone of them again. Through out the one month I was admitted in the hospital for both physical and emotional injury, I stayed paranoid hoping that one day one of them would sneak in and steal me away or at least tell me where My Scar was buried.

I wanted to see him again, to pay my last respect, but none of them came. Not for a month. I had prayed and hoped and even searched for them which made me and my mom fight a lot but I never saw them.

And now after all these months, after all this time of searching, he was now here.

"And who are you? the boyfriend?" The man asked, pulling me from my thought.

"Isn't that obvious! now please let her go. I do not like men laying their hands on my girlfriend you know she's mine." Black stated, winking at me.

My mind was no longer there and I just stared at the scene before me unaware of my surrounding or anything at all.

My heart was beating fast against my chest and my brain felt like it was a roller coaster. It kept spinning and spinning out of control.

I was thinking too much about everything as always but with a past like mine, I could not help it. Something didn't seem right about Blacks sudden appearance.

It didn't strike me as a coincidence that he decided to be here right now when I need help so urgently.

"Do you know who you are speaking to?" The guy asked Black. The both of them engaged in a stare down contest which Black won with his stony expression.

"Oh please let go of her before I loose what little Patience I have left. I do not care who you are. You can be Zeus for all I care." Black snorted.

"And if I don't let her go? Tell me what will you do?_"

"Wrong answer." Black punched the guy in his mouth. The guy tried to throw a punch back but Black holds his hands behind his back and continued his assail on him.

He threw him on the floor and sat on him. "You shouldn't lay your hands on her ever again for your own good. Some girls are off limit. Remember that."

"Please stop." I screamed stopping Black from throwing another punch on the already badly beaten guy. He let go of the guy and dragged me out of the club amidst my protest. I was too scared to even fight him as people stared at us curious to know what went on.

Black Stopped walking when we finally reached a safe distance outside the club.

"You shouldn't be here." I said as a matter of fact.

"I just saved your ass. You should be be grateful!" Black hissed

"Says the guy who kidnapped and hit me," I retorted. "Why are you here? Its been almost a year now. What do you want? He is gone now so can you all just leave me alone!" I screamed, my voice trembling.

Black chuckled shaking his head.

"Don't you understand as long as you are in this country then you belong to the gang. They will always watch over you. They are your shadow. Everywhere you go they go. Where you are, they are!"

"Don't watch over me. You all should stay away from me!" I spat, clenching and unclenching my fist.

"That will never happen."

"Then I will leave!"

He wanted to reply but before he could a car stopped in front of us.

"I'll see you later and for the record, I mean of the chat. As a friend I advise you to leave, you never can tell what happens next I might not be there to save you." He warned, winking at me.

Before I could reply he was already in the car.

Now in the black car he rolled the windshield down to me. "But if you don't leave then you cannot run away from her, Mira. And say me well to your therapist and your new priest."

"How do you know..." My voice trailed of when I realized that I already knew the answer to my question.

The Car sped off and I screamed frustrated.

I went back into the club and drank until I was too drunk to think.

My mind kept spinning and spinning all the while with so many questions and no answers.

But it soon became obvious what my decision would be. I had to leave.
