Playboy Alpha and His Contract Mate

Chapter 49

Ch. 49 / 102 Jan 23, 2026

( The following morning)

I opened my eyes. I gasped in fear and raised my hand to my chest in confusion. Where am I?

I was on a strange bed with a familiar figure who was nakedly sleeping right beside me. The morning light filtered through the curtains, revealing a room I couldn't quite place... He was snoring heavily. Still, in confusion, I raised my gaze higher to meet Jason lying right beside me. Oh, my gosh!!! What just happened? Does it mean I slept with Jason?

Yesterday night - after I went back inside the party house, I was so bothered and lonely that I downed bottles of alcohol in my belly, littering everywhere with broken bottles. That was the last thing I could remember here. How do I manage to find myself close to Jason? My slumber was replaced by anger and frustration as I lifted the quilt on my body to find myself naked too.

I hit Jason aggressively, pulling him out of his deep sleep. He tore his eyes open and smiled at him as though all that happened between us last night was a setup. My mind raced, replaying the events that had led to this unexpected event. Questions swirled in my head, demanding answers I wasn't sure I was ready to hear.

"What's happening here, Jason?" I clenched fists and asked angrily, my eyes devouring fire. But instead of him replying to me, he smiled rigorously, which made me mad at him.

"I said what the hell happened here, Jason?" I asked in her scream.

Jason shifted, a slow smirk playing on his lips, and asked, "Surprised to see me, Amaya?" His gaze locked onto mine, and the air thickened with the unspoken tension between us.

"That hasn't still answered my question, Jason!" I yelled at him.

He chuckled, a sound that grated on my nerves. "You always did love playing the innocent, didn't you? But let's not pretend you're not thrilled to have me back in your life."

My fists clenched at my sides. "Thrilled? More like infuriated. What's your game, huh?" I asked tensely.

His smirk widened into a grin, and he leaned in, his voice dripping with arrogance. "Game? Sweetheart, this is payback". As he landed, he fell his head on the pillow and laughed so hard on the bed.

Confusion furrowed in my brow as I could not digest what he meant by those silly words of his.

"Payback for what? I haven't done anything to you, Jason."

He chuckled again, a sinister edge to the sound. "Oh, you think drugging me and taking advantage of me was nothing? I haven't forgotten, Amaya. You lured me to drinking bottles of beer just to know about your missing mum's whereabouts."

My eyes widened in disbelief. "What are you talking about? I never did that!"

He sat up, his gaze piercing mine. "Don't play dumb. You spiked my drink that night, and you know it. Now it's payback time."

My mind raced, trying to make sense of the accusation. "You are such an idiot, Jason!" I gritted my teeth and said.

His laughter echoed in the room. "You just called me an idiot? I am never an idiot, Amaya. I was just wiser than you. You thought you could manipulate me, but now the tables have turned." He said, his laughter increasing as he mentioned.

The door barged open, and Jeremy rushed inside the room with a perplexed expression. "What??" His mouth was wide open, and his eyes were red.

"It's not what you think, Jeremy. I never knew how it happened!" I mumbled with a shaking voice, trying to hide my nakedness.

"What's going on here?" He asked, his eyes flickering between me and Jason who was now wearing a smug grin.

"Oh, look who decided to join the party," Jason sneered. "Jeremy, was it? You might want to have a word with your girl here. Seems she's been keeping some secrets."

I shot Jason a venomous look as if I should just cut off his head right away. "Don't listen to him, Jeremy. He is just trying to stir up trouble."

Jeremy's brow furrowed, over Jason's statement "Secrets? What's he talking about, Amaya?"

Before I could respond, Jason cut in with a mocking tone. "Ask her about the night she decided to play bartender. I'm sure you'll find it enlightening."

My eyes widened as I faced Jeremy whose eyes were now battered, desperation in my gaze. "No, Jeremy. This idiot is twisting things. I didn't drug him. I don't know what he's talking about."

Jeremy's expression shifted from confusion to suspicion. "Explain, Amaya. What happened?"

I steepled my fingers bewilderedly and bent down my head. "Answer me, Amaya!!!" Jeremy screamed at me.

"I did it because of my mum, Jeremy. I drugged him so he could tell me what he knew about my missing mum!" I mentioned, tears rolling down my face.

"See, Jeremy? She has a way of spinning tales. But let me enlighten you. I was at a party. She tricked me into drinking a lot of beers, and the next thing I knew, I was vulnerable, helplessly lying on the floor."

Jeremy's gaze darted between us, torn between trust and doubt. "Why would he lie about something like that, Amaya? Remember I asked you that faithful night?" Jeremy said.

Jason chuckled, reveling in the chaos he had grown up.

"Maybe she regrets losing me, Jeremy. People do desperate things when they realize what they have given up." Jason stood up on the bed and started wearing his dress.

"Amaya, you promised never to cheat on me a couple of hours ago, but now you broke my heart," Jeremy said his voice showing how heartbroken he was.

"I am sorry...." I was pleading, and trying to get up from bed, but he stopped me.

"No worries, Amaya. Our contract has been terminated right from this time. You and Jason can enjoy one another to the fullest," Jeremy uttered with a broken voice and turned to Jason who was pulling his trousers up to his body.

"And for you, Jason, I would make sure I exposed your doings. You are among the secret black rogues attacking the school. I have heard about how you kidnap Serah just to get closer to Amaya."

Jason laughed, then followed by a smirk on his face.

"Yes, I am, Jeremy. And what the hell can you do about it?" Jason pronounced confidently. I put my hand over my mouth as I glared at Jason, who was now letting it out that he was among the black rogues.

"Jason, so you kidnapped Serah?" I asked my mouth still over my mouth.

"Yes, and what will you do too, Amaya? I only fooled you!" Jason gritted.

I stood up angrily on the bed and slapped Jason aggressively. He gave me a dirty slap too and howled, showing his dangerous canines as if he would shift into his wolf. I held my cheeks, tears streaming down my face as the pain of being used contrasted starkly with what Jason was saying.

Jeremy breathed in aggression, and said,

"I will make sure you spend the rest of your life in prison;" Jeremy said, and walked out of the room. I picked up my scattered dress on the floor and ran after Jeremy, screaming his name, while Jason's mockery laughter resounded in my ears.
