Playboy Alpha and His Contract Mate

Chapter 59

Ch. 59 / 102 Jan 23, 2026

Third person's POV

Florida sat down bewilderedly in her office, thinking about Amaya who was now in the den of the rogues. She bites fingers of regret, and regrets for telling her about her abilities. She knew where she was. She knew she would be with her father, the leader of the black rogues, but she was scared that she would ever set her eyes on her again.

Though, the proprietor had sent some men to look for Amaya in the forest, but still they were yet to find her in her den.

As Florida stared at the framed photo of Amaya on her desk, a knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. The door creaked open, revealing the proprietor, walking in with his hands clasped behind. As Florida saw him coming in, she rolled her eyes in disgust at him.

"Florida," he began, his voice carrying a weight of shared concern, "we will find Amaya, by any means necessary."

Florida's eyes met his, a mix of anguish and accusation. "This is your doing, isn't it? All that exposure to Cena nonsense has stirred up her abilities. She is in danger because of you and the selfish purpose of your school."

The proprietor stood in place, his eyes featuring blame. He leaned against the office desk and said, "Our world is filled with dangers, Florida. I may have underestimated the extent of the risks, but rest assured, we will bring her back safely."

A surge of frustration and desperation tightened Florida's grip on the edge of her desk.

He rolled her eyes and said, "Once you find her, break the bond between her and Cena. It is the source of this chaos."

Before the proprietor could respond, the office door swung open again. Cena entered with an air of silent authority. His eyes, a piercing shade of amber, held determination.

"I will find Amaya and return her to the school premises before the next phase of the contest," Cena declared, his voice a low growl that reverberated through the room. "I underestimated the consequences of our connection. This is my responsibility."

Florida was torn in anger over his words as though she was not moved by his words as she fixed her gaze on Cena. "You better find her, and when you do, break whatever link you have with her. I won't let her be a pawn in your supernatural games."

"I will deploy every resource to locate, Amaya. She's mine, and I don't leave my own behind." Dax walked into the office, his eyes a shade darker than Cena's face, and interrupted, Cena's eyes grew too sour.

Cena quarried Dax for barging into the office and interrupting his words with the principal and Florida. They were both nose to nose, exchanging breathing among each other as though they would fight right away. Cena and Dax were exchanging words when Jeremy walked into the office.

"I will find her," Jeremy asserted, his voice carrying quiet strength. "No stone will be left unturned. I will bring her back unharmed."

Dax and Cena looked around in confusion as Jeremy mentioned. They began to exchange words as if they were going to tear each other apart. The proprietor intruded. The proprietor suggested Cena look for Amaya since he was her current boyfriend, but the duo Alpha interjected. The trio seemed to be proving how they love Amaya in front of Florida.

Florida observed the heat of disagreement in her office. She took a deep breath and rose from her office chair. She stepped into the center of the room, a newfound resolve surrounding her.

"Gentlemen," she addressed them with a stern tone, "we can not afford discord when it comes to finding my daughter. She will decide who among you is worthy of finding and bringing her back."

Cena, Dax, and Jeremy exchanged guarded glances, intrigued by Florida's unexpected intervention.

"Amaya is no mere judge. She's a powerful entity, and her favor is not easily won. Are you sure about this?" Cena asked.

Florida nodded, her gaze unwavering, and responded,

"It is time to put your abilities to the test, not just in finding Amaya but in proving your worthiness to the one who will ultimately decide her fate."

A reluctant agreement settled among them. The prospect of seeking Amaya's judgment added a layer of complexity to their mission, redirecting their competitive energies towards a common goal - the finder of Amaya would be Amaya's new mate.

As the trio prepared to embark on their quest into the mysterious forest to find Amaya, students gathered around, curious and eager.

Among the crowd, two figures stood with conflicted expressions. Dax's girlfriend, Aya, and Jeremy's Ex, Latina, watched the departure of their mates with a subtle sense of unease. The idea of their partners going out to rescue another girl casts a surge of jealousy over their thoughts.

As the trio made their way towards the edge of the forest, Latina couldn't contain the jealousy within her. She turned to Aya, her voice tinged with concern. "This mission... it makes me uneasy. What if something happens to Jeremy?"

Aya, equally troubled, sighed and nodded. "I understand. It's hard to see them go off like this, especially for someone else. But they have pledged to bring that girl back, and we must trust them."

Behind closed doors, in a private room away from the students on the field, Latina and Aya found a space to voice their concerns and share their perspectives.

"I just can not shake the feeling that this is risky," Aya confessed, her eyes reflecting frustration, and continued,

"Dax means the world to me, and I don't want to see him in harm's way for someone else. What do you think we can do?"

"I have a suggestion, Aya," Latina said and placed a comforting hand on Aya, about to mutter what seemed like a secret.
