Playboy Alpha and His Contract Mate

Chapter 60

Ch. 60 / 102 Jan 23, 2026

I was tied down to a chair. My mouth was covered with a huge sealing tape, and the ropes that wrapped my legs around the chair were long and thick. I had been the only soul here. They only free me when they bring food for me. But still, I refused to eat the delicacies they used to bring for me.

Suddenly, the door blasted open, and the leader of the group walked into the room. He walked into the room with his hands behind his back and squatted to my height. He cupped his hand around my jaw and pulled me nearer to himself like he would kiss me.

"Why have you refused to eat, Amaya? You rejecting my food still can't let you out of here," he said to me with his wicked laughter. He pulled away the tape on my mouth.

"I am not hungry. I don't need your food! I want you to free me," I responded to him tiredly.

I was annoyed at his smirk and was forced to scream at him.

"Who are you?" I asked him, lethality in my voice.

"I am your FATHER!!" He responded. I wide-eyed and stared at him as he unmasked himself.

My breath caught in my throat as the group leader landed, claiming to be my father. I stared at him, my bandaged hand instinctively clenching at the revelation. Disbelief, confusion, and a lingering sense of vulnerability - all these were happening to me as I glared at the man who claimed to be my father.

"I am your father, Amaya," he repeated, his voice featuring authority and a hint of desperation.

The bandages on my hand suddenly felt like a fragile shield, a feeble attempt to protect myself from the shattering reality unfolding before me. Memories flickered in my mind.

"Why now?" The question escaped my lips, a whisper filled with both accusation and a yearning for answers.

"Why reveal yourself now, after all these years?" I continued.

He sighed, his gaze locked onto mine and then he responded.

"I have been watching you, waiting for the right moment. There are things you need to know, Amaya. About who you are and the role you can play"

"You have a unique ability, Amaya," he continued, his tone steady but with a surge of urgency. "A power that can change the course of things, and I need you to embrace it for a greater purpose."

"What purpose?" I asked, looking into his eyes.

"You will join me to overcome a pack in the East and also some other packs in our totem. Power will be ours and we rule the black rogues together," he said, his voice pinching me so hard.

"Are you this heartless? For years you abandoned me and sold my mum out, and this is all you could say the first time you set your eyes on me?" I screamed at him. He laughed sinisterly and grabbed my chin.

"You don't dare shout at your father like that, Amaya. I own you and you are doing whatever I want. Stop behaving rudely like your wretched mum," My father said to my face.

"I am not doing anything!! I would rather die than fight by your side!" I screamed at him. He returned the bandage to my mouth and walked away.

---

The three trio, Jeremy, Dax, and Cena, who were in the forest were seriously searching for Amaya. They had searched the forest for days but still, they could not find her. They were searching for her separately not until they met in a place, a wide land that also paved the way to their paths.

"Oh, I meet these fools again!" Jeremy gritted his teeth as he saw Cena and Dax. He shifted to his wolf.

"Maybe I should just kill you both here!" Dax flaunted his pernicious canines as he shifted to his wolf.

"Let me see what you got!" Cena shifted to his beast, and they were just ready to launch an attack at each other when a set of wolves gathered around them and outnumbered them.

In the middle of the rogues, they were forced to team up and found themselves fighting side by side. Dax's strong hits mixed well with Cena's speedy moves, and Dax's smart tactics added some strategy as they were ready to combat them.

As the rogues kept coming, they didn't need words to understand each other. It was like a survival dance, where they had to work together whether they liked it or not. Friend or foe, it didn't matter – they were in it together.

The forest, once a witness to their arguments, now saw a strange kind of teamwork. The rogues, feeling the pressure, fought harder. They fought back with everything they had.

When the last rogue limped away, defeated and down, the three of them stood together, catching their breath.

They won against the rogues and they thought of returning to the school premises because they now got the clue that somebody was spying on them. The fight they had just known made them know that it would be better if they returned to the school and sorted out the issues before they continued with their journey. They walked separate ways and returned to school.

They both got to the school with disappointment in their eyes, still catching their breath from the rogue's encounter, when they crossed paths with the school's proprietor who was having a conversation with some elders. The elders and the proprietor were so surprised to see them returning so soon.

"Where have you three been?" The proprietor inquired, his eyes narrowing. "Your faces aren't smiling. Don't you find her?"

Cena sighed and responded.

"Rogues ambushed us on the way back. It is like they knew our every move."

The proprietor's expression darkened. "Rogues attacking you, and so precisely? That suggests a spy among us." He put one of his fingers in his mouth and thought.

Dax cut in, his voice painted with uneasiness.

"It's not just coincidence. Someone here is feeding information to the rogues."

"We need to find out who is betraying the pack from within," Jeremy said, wiping off the blood stains in his hand.

"A spy? Who could that be?" The proprietor asked, sighing restlessly.
