The Wedding Day!
Colton Royal's POV
I haven't stopped smiling since I woke up this morning. This is a day I've been looking forward to and I'm glad it's finally here. I honestly can't wait for the moment the love of my life and I will be pronounced Man and Wife.
"I promised myself that I'm not going to cry today. But it's just so hard to keep my word." I heard my mother say as she walked into the room I was, bringing me out of my thoughts.
I smiled, turning my full attention to the woman who I adore so much. "Hi mom, you look so beautiful." I kissed her cheek, then hugged her. She was all dressed up for the wedding which should be starting in a couple of minutes.
She lovingly cupped my face in her warm hands. "You look so handsome, my love. My heart is filled with so much joy and pride. It's a dream come true to watch you get married to a wonderful woman like Mia. I wish you nothing but a blissful marriage, my son."
Thank you, Mom." I smiled, hugging her once more.
"How's Mia and the babies?" I couldn't help but ask. We all spent the night in our suite but I had to separate from them after breakfast so we could all get ready.
My mother smiled. "Mia's fine. She's as excited as you are. My granddaughters are fine too. They are all ready for the event. Sammie, Ashley, and Hailey will be taking care of them."
"Our guests have arrived too. We are only waiting for you and Mia to show up so we can start." My mom said, Not only could I hear the excitement in her voice, but I could also see it in her eyes and that made my heart swell with so much pride.
"I'll be out shortly, just waiting for Theodore." I smiled.
"Alright, my love." With one final hug, my mother exited the room.
In a few minutes, Theodore entered all dressed up in his tux with smiles all over his face and hand tucked in his pocket.
"Ready to marry the most beautiful woman in the world?" He said as he approached me and gave me a brotherly hug.
"I'm so ready!" I smiled, returning the hug.
"Congratulations Colt. I'm so happy for you and Mia." He said, patting me on the back.
"Thanks, bro."
After checking myself out for the last time in the mirror and being satisfied with my look, Theodore and I made our way out of the guest room.
Since my Grandfather's mansion was very big and beautiful, Mia decided we should have the wedding in the garden.
The moment I set my foot in the garden, my family and friends started cheering for me and I couldn't help but smile even more.
My heart was filled with pride in everything I saw. The decorations were so beautiful and elegant. And everyone was looking really gorgeous, radiant, and happy.
As I walked down the aisle, I stopped from time to time to greet the very familiar faces. And upon getting to the front seats, my daughter, Claire who was in Hailey's arms smiled at me, babbling baby words. I approached them and kissed Claire's forehead.
"Daddy and Mommy are getting married today. You're so excited, aren't you?" Sammie cooed with Chloe in her arms as I approached them. I smiled, placing a kiss on my little girls' forehead.
"Nervous?" Sammie said to me,
"Not really." I chuckled.
"Okay papa bear, I think it's time," Hailey announced.
I nodded, walking to the front, then stood at the end of the aisle with Theo behind me.
Hailey gave Chloe to Ashley, then went to stand at the other side. I caught my younger brother's eyes on her. I sighed, knowing Caleb was really into Hailey. Just as I've found happiness, I hope he finds happiness too.
After what felt like forever, Mia appeared. I swear I almost forgot how to breathe. My lips unconsciously curved into a proud smile as I watched her walk down the aisle with her Dad who held onto her arm.
"I trust you to take great care of my daughter. God bless your union, my darlings" Jack said, giving me Mia's hand.
"Thanks, Dad," I said with gratitude.
"Like what you see?!" Mia smirked at me when she noticed I couldn't stop staring at her.
"Babe….I…..I don't know what to say. You look soooooo. Fuck..." I mumbled, wiping away tears from the corner of my eyes.
Mia giggled, not caring that all eyes were on us. "It's okay baby, I wanted to look good for you and I'm fulfilled I got the reaction I wanted. All I want to do is to jump on you right now. I've never seen a sexier groom."
I blushed.
"You're everything I've ever wanted and even more, Mia. I love you with my whole heart."
"I love you too, baby." She said to me,
"Ready to make our relationship official?" I asked even though I could see the love she has for me and the eagerness in her eyes.
"As ready as I'll ever be, my love." She smiled.
I brought Mia's hand to my lips and placed a kiss on the back of her palm after which we approached the priest who had a proud smile on his face and was eagerly waiting to bless our union.
Getting married to Mia right before our family and friends was definitely a dream come true for me. I know I'm blessed and I don't take my blessings for granted.
