Playboy Alpha and His Contract Mate

Chapter 33

Ch. 33 / 102 Jan 23, 2026

We entered into the proprietor's office with slow steps. Aurora, Jeremy, and Jason were all standing and staring at me as I walked in. Just as Aurora sighted me, she said,

“That's the bitch who wanted to spoil the good reputation of your school by causing the two Alphas who are the prime athletes of your school to fight each other."

“Who is she!” Dax muttered to my hearing.

“That's my wicked stepmom, Aurora.“ I muttered back in response.

I got there and sat on the cold, unforgiving chair of the school's proprietor. I couldn't help but replay the events in my mind. The adrenaline that had fueled my every move was now replaced by a nervous anticipation of what would come next as I saw my two demons standing right beside me.

“You are gone, Amaya!” Aurora whispered to my ears. She had not heard about what just happened outside there a couple of minutes ago.

The proprietor removed a short letter from his envelope - a letter I had presumed to be my expulsion letter - but before he offered it to me, he noticed Alpha Dax who was standing at my back. He removed his glasses and glared at Dax as if he knew him from somewhere.

“Are you not the boy that won the last contest against my school?” The school proprietor asked.

“Yes, that's him and that is also the boy who was about to torture Sia before Amaya helped her.” The history teacher answered on Dax's behalf.

“What?” Jeremy and Jason, echoed at once, a spilt honey dropping on my ego.

Aurora laughed so hard and said,

“Are you sure you have not been traumatized, history teacher? Amaya is a weak human who cannot even kill a snake. How come she could beat the most athletic boy in the totem?”

“Yes, she fought me and my friends to save Sia,” Dax responded.

“How come?” Jeremy questioned.

“This is unbelievable,” Jason said with bright eyes.

"Hey, Amaya.” The proprietor began, eyeing me with a mix of curiosity and concern, and added,

“You better tell me what happened out there now or I hand over this letter to you.”

Taking a deep breath, I recounted the events, detailing my intervention, and the unexpected showdown that followed some couple of minutes ago. The Proprietor's expression shifted from stern to incredulous, the same as Aurora and my two demons-Jeremy and Jason.

"Wait, let me get this straight,” he interrupted, leaning forward. "You single-handedly fought this boy just to save my cousin?"

I nodded, trying to gauge the proprietor who seemed momentarily at a loss for words from his reaction, despite being known for his stoicism. After a moment of silence, he shook his head in disbelief. "I've seen a lot in my years as a proprietor but this... this is beyond anything I could have imagined."

His gaze fixed on me. He continued, “How come you hide this from us, Amaya?”

“Don't be deceived, proprietor. Amaya is weak!” Aurora cut in.

“She is not, madam. Amaya is a gifted fighter and athlete. She is strong and agile,” Dax sneaked in.

“You never told me this Amaya,” Jason said and furrowed his brows.

“Keep quiet, fool,” Jeremy hit on Jason.

I remembered the warning from the rebels in the woods. I was to keep it a secret. Nonetheless, I would have to lie to cover up the secrets, or else they would know I just learned how to fight in the woods, and this might trigger the Alphas to track the rebels.

“I have always been a good fighter, Sir. I hide my skills for a day like this.” I lied.

The proprietor leaned back in his chair, his fingers steepled in thought, and said,

"We can't ignore what happened tonight. You are to be expelled before, but because of what you have done, I take a U-turn of my decision.“ The proprietor declared, Aurora's eyes turned red.

“No, Proprietor. She should be expelled!” Aurora screamed while Jeremy and Jason looked at me in surprise.

Despite Aurora's piercing words, a hint of admiration glinted in his eyes, and he said,

“She can't be expelled. She might be the unexpected athlete this school needs."
