Playboy Alpha and His Contract Mate

Chapter 85

Ch. 85 / 102 Jan 23, 2026

"Who bears that name?" Jeremy asked as he saw me resounding the name. I smiled and looked into his eyes.

"That's the guy that taught me how to fight, Jeremy. I need to go back to him in the forest, and learn new skills!' I said to him.

"Good, Amaya. But before you go, I need to..." Jeremy said and grabbed my boobs. He rested his lips on mine and kissed me so passionately.

---

I wore my baggy top and disguised myself as one of these rogues in the North. I must sneak out of this place in no distant time before the daybreak. I started running harder into the woods, panting. I got to the familiar forest where I once stayed for months and whistled for my presence.

A few minutes later, those I once called my family, stepped out of their closet, flashing their smiles at me. Douglas walked up to me and hugged me. We exchanged smiles, greetings, and hugs, as the memories rang again in my head.

"Now you are back to your roots! We are ready to help you!" Douglas said as we hugged, and exchanged pleasantries.

"Douglas?" I murmured as I remembered the statement of the guy who saved me from Nikki at the party. Could Douglas be the one on the mask?

"Yes, Amaya! I was the one on mask." Douglas broke out, and I glared at him with wide eyes.

I was so surprised he happened to be the one, and what he was looking for at the party was far from what I could comprehend. "I am chasing the white-bearded man, Amaya. He was responsible for the death of my parents!"

"What? That man must be very powerful. I am sure he is responsible for the missing of my mum!" I said to him. "Yes, Amaya. He is powerful, but he's afraid of me. He ran when he saw me at the party that day."

Wow! I thought the white-bearded man ran away at the party because of me. I never knew he ran away when he set his eyes on Douglas.

"I am on the quest to kill him, and his boss!" Douglas said with a threat written all over his face.

"His boss?" I asked. "Yes, his boss!"

Could his boss be the school proprietor? If it's then I could tell that we have won over the proprietor already. If only he knew I was on the same quest. That white-bearded man must be a villain to my father, Alex.

"Welcome back, Amaya!" Douglas's deep voice broke through the silence. His steel-gray eyes held a glimmer of recognition, and a smile tugged at his lips.

"It's good to see you again." He finished.

"And it is good to see you too, Douglas," I responded, bowing respectfully. Memories of my previous training sessions flooded my mind, and I couldn't help but feel excited. I had returned to Douglas to learn new fighting skills, to become stronger, and to prove myself, and rescue my mom.

Douglas motioned for me to follow him, and we began our trek deeper through the cabins of the pack.

"Why are you here, Amaya?" Douglas began, his voice filled with a hint of mystery. "But before you explain, tell me, how have you fared in your training since your last visit?"

I paused, reflecting on my journey since leaving the rogue pack. "I have not trained more than the ones you have taught me," I replied honestly.

A pleased smile touched Douglas's lips, and a glimmer of pride flickered in his eyes. "You were always a quick learner, Amaya," he said. "But now, it's time for you to push yourself further, to tap into your true potential."

I nodded, my heart pounding with anticipation. "I'm ready, Douglas. Ready to learn whatever you have to teach me!"

Douglas led me to a clearing dappled with patches of sunlight. In the center of the clearing stood a wooden training post, its surface marred by countless scratches.

"This training post has seen many battles, many warriors honing their skills," Douglas said, "And now, it will be your turn. Today, we will start with the art of redirection."

Curiosity simmered on me as Douglas demonstrated his technique. He moved with precision, his limbs flowing like water. Each strike was executed flawlessly. It was clear that he had mastered this skill through years of dedication and practice.

"Now, Amaya, it's your turn," Douglas said stepping aside to allow me to take my place in front of the training post.

I flexed my fingers, summoning my focus. My previous training rang inside me, fueling my determination. I took a deep breath and launched a series of strikes towards the post, aiming for the same spot repeatedly.

"No, Amaya. The key to redirection is not force, but the ability to follow the path of least resistance. Let me show you again," Douglas interjected.

He stepped forward, gently correcting my movements and adjusting my grip. "Feel the energy in your opponent's strike, anticipate their next strike, and redirect that energy with the least amount of effort. Allow your body to become an extension of your opponent's attack."

I let his words sink in and nodded. I repeated the strikes, but this time the way he wanted it. I focused not on overpowering the training post, but on redirecting the energy of each strike, allowing my movements to flow naturally.

"Good, Amaya. That's a very good one. Remember, it is not about overpowering your opponent, but about controlling their every movement. Now, let us move on to the next skill."

---

I learned complex skills with the ones I knew before, and I was more than ready to utilize them. However, I didn't tell him about my ability. My mother's abduction was in my mind, and today made it three days that I came. I needed to go back. Jeremy would have been at the forest front waiting for me.

"Amaya, you have done well," Douglas said, pride shining in his eyes. "Your spirit is unbreakable, and your determination unmatchable."

Tears of gratitude brimmed in my eyes as I bowed deeply before Douglas. "Thank you, Douglas. Without your guidance, I would not be this good at fighting today."

He placed a hand on my shoulder, his touch reassuring. "Remember, Amaya, the journey does not end here. Keep striving, keep learning, and may the unbreakable spirit guide you always."

I departed the forest and went back to my pack. Jeremy was at the patrol border, waiting for me. The moment he saw me, he hugged me so tightly. I told him about Douglas, and how he had made up his mind to haunt down the white-bearded man, and the school proprietor.

Jeremy was ready to fight alongside me to make sure I rescued my mother. He pulled me closer to himself, our eyes locked at each other, and said to me.

"You can do this, Amaya! Your mother needs to be rescued! I have gathered some strong men in my pack to join us." I nodded at his words of encouragement, and I followed him to meet some sets of howling werewolves who were ready to fight beside me.

My heart pounded as I, Jeremy, and a few trusted pack members ventured into the closely packed forest to find my missing mother.

As we delved deeper into the woods, I couldn't doubt the feeling that we were being watched. Jeremy gripped my hand reassuringly. His werewolf senses heightened, scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger as our steps were silent on the forest floor.

Amidst the sounds of the birds, and vultures, I whispered to Jeremy whose eyes were still busy scanning with full attention. "Do you think we are getting close? I can't bear not knowing where my mom is."

Jeremy squeezed my hand, my eyes examining the surroundings. "We are close. I can sense something ahead. Just stay close and be prepared for anything."

Cena showed up suddenly in our front with two of the common proprietor's boys. His jaws were still injured. He looked so weak, but what the fuck is he doing here?

"What's going on here, Cena?" I demanded, my voice trembling with anger. "Where is my mother?"

Cena hesitated before speaking, "I... I can explain. The kidnappers, they made me do it. They threatened my family."

One of the pack members growled, "Enough with the lies! You're one of them, aren't you? We saw you as you sneaked away a few hours ago."

Jeremy stepped forward, his eyes narrowing. "Start talking, Cena. We need to find Amaya's mother, and you are not leaving until we have answers."

Cena sighed, realizing the jig was up. "Fine. I was a part of it, but I had no choice. They have my family hostage. They told me to lure you all away, so they could execute their plan without interference."

My eyes flashed with anger, but I maintained my exterior. "Where are they keeping my mother? And who are they?"

Cena hesitated again, glancing nervously at the surrounding werewolves. "They are in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the forest. I don't know why they want her, but they are dangerous."

Jeremy turned to me and said hurriedly. "We need to rescue your mother. As for you Cena, we are coming back for you."

We started running harder into the forest to rescue my mother till we stumbled upon a hollow ground that sank us. Suddenly, a huge net covered us, and pulled us out of the hollow ground, suspending us in the air.

Laughter erupted from beneath, and looking down through the net was my father, Alex, Jason, and some of his fighters. And on the left was my mum tied up to a tree.

"Father!! You kidnapped Mum?" I screamed unbelievably.
