"Then I think you should meet and talk to him,"
Seraphina became startled, hearing Nathan and before she could answer a voice speak out first.
"Really?"
Nathan trailed his eyes at the door and saw Nevada standing there with her big eyes and wide grin.
Nevada excitedly ran inside the room and spoke.
"Actually I was eavesdropping," She announced, innocently.
Nathan chuckled, weakly and then looked at Seraphina. He got up on his feet and then placed his palm over her cheek.
"Your happiness is everything to me, Sephi and if Mr Grayson is your happiness then I've no problem with it,"
Seraphina's eyes turned more watery. Nathan pecked her temple and wiped her eyes.
"I just want what is right for you, Sephi and if you think, he's right for you, then I am totally supporting you in this,"
Seraphina hugged him tightly and sobbed.
"Thank you so much, Nate. Thank you,"
Nathan smiled and caressed her head. His eyes travelled towards Nevada, who was staring at him affectionately.
"Your brother is just not handsome from outside but he has a beautiful heart too, Seph. I'm impressed, Mr Miller,"
Both Nathan and Seraphina beamed at Nevada's remark.
"Okay, now I guess if you have gotten the approval from Mr Miller, you should meet Arzal as soon as possible,"
"Exactly,"
Everyone turned their heads and saw Nicklaus at the door. He stepped inside, smilingly.
"Actually the door was open, so I invited myself in," He said and patted Nathan's shoulder gently.
"Hey, how is your health, man?"
Nathan nodded with a smile at him.
"And I've heard all of your conversation and I think you should meet Arzal today, Seraphina,"
Seraphina swallowed hard and shook her head.
"He is angry with me. Maybe he doesn't want to see me now," She uttered, hurt and guilty.
"He's dying to meet you, Seraphina. Only he knows how is staying away from you,"
Seraphina's heart tingled.
"So if you're ready, I'll take you to him, right now,"
"Right now?" Seraphina became shocked. Nicklaus nodded.
"Yeah.. The sooner the better," He stated and Nevada agreed to her brother.
"Nick is right, Seraphina,"
"But, Nate? I can't leave him alone like this," Seraphina honestly told her worry.
"I'm fine, angel. You don't have to worry about me," Nathan assured her.
"And if you're worrying about him so much then don't worry, I'll take care of him until you don't come back," Nevada said and Nathan gulped at her words.
"Nevada," Nicklaus narrowed his eyes at his sister, earning an eye roll from her.
"I'll try my best to behave, Nick,"
Nicklaus frowned and looked at Seraphina.
"Ok then. Let's go, I'll drop you to his company,"
"Company?" Seraphina bewildered and Nicklaus grinned.
... ..
"We're here,"
Seraphina gulped by watching that big building in front of her again. She got out of Nicklaus's car and then nervously walked inside that building which was owned and ruled by her evil prince.
"Mr Grayson is in his private cabin and he has ordered not to let anybody disturb him, Mr Williams," His secretary announced, politely.
Seraphina's heart started throbbing in fear.
"Let's go. We'll meet him some other time. He's busy now," She slowly whispered to Nicklaus. He mentally smirked before saying.
"He needs this disturbance more than anything,"
And then dragged Seraphina from there towards his private cabin, leaving his secretary confused behind them.
Nicklaus was about to push the closed glass door of his cabin but Seraphina held his arm.
"He will get angry and will scold me," Her cheeks had started turning pink in fear.
Nicklaus smiled and tapped on her flushed cheek delicately.
"So cute," He said and then pushed open the door, making Seraphina's heart to go insane, until
"Hadn't I told you not to let anyone disturb me, Miss Jones?"
Seraphina's body froze in fear, hearing that husky growling voice. Her petite body was hiding behind Nicklaus's frame.
"Get the f#ck out, Nicklaus,"
Seraphina flinched in fear whereas Nicklaus scoffed.
"Yeah, I'll but a very important client has come to meet you, Arzal,"
"Tell him to leave. I'm in no mood to meet anyone, right now,"
Seraphina was about to run away from there in fear but Nicklaus stepped away, revealing her tiny frame.
"Not even this adorable client,"
Seraphina turned ice, especially when those piercing silver eyes fell on her, which turned more cold by watching her there.
If gaze could kill, she would have been dead the very second his eyes met with her.
"I guess, now I should leave your client to you, Mr Grayson," Nicklaus left with a chuckle and closed the door behind him.
How Seraphina wished to jump out of the window the way he was staring at her? She downcast her eyes and started fiddling with her fingers.
For a brief moment, a deadly silence prevailed in that cabin, until she heard his footsteps coming closer to her.
Seraphina could feel his gaze on her as he stood before her.
"So how's your brother, Miss Miller?"
His voice penetrated her ears whereas his choice of words penetrated her heart. She slowly took her eyes up and noticed him staring at her like she was a stranger.
It hurted her badly but she just again looked down and answered.
"Nate is fine,"
"Very glad to know that," He sounded more distant.
"And have you filed a police complaint or any legal action against me yet for trying to kill your brother, Miss Miller?"
His words made her heart to ache but she knew she deserved them.
"I... I am sorry," She softly breathed out but then heard him chuckling humorously.
"Sorry? But for what, Miss Miller? You haven't done anything wrong that you are apologising for it,"
Seraphina slowly took her gaze up and she felt more remorseful by watching that anger, pain burning in his eyes. Her eyes moistened.
"I am sorry for saying those things to you. I didn't know that.. "
"You didn't know what, Seraphina?" He reduced the distance between them.
"You didn't know what? That I had promised you your brother's safety? I had promised to give you everything? You didn't know what, Miss Miller?" He raised his voice at her, turning her more guilty.
Her tears worked as a fuel in his already blazing self. He gripped her arms and pulled her on his chest.
"You didn't know what? That I love you more than anything and anyone in this world? That you're my life, my everything?"
She wordlessly gazed at his flaming grey orbs.
"I am sorry,"
Her words made him to clench his jaw and slightly push her away from him. He turned around and uttered
"You can leave, Miss Miller. I've more important things to take care of,"
His words broke her beyond endurance. She again apologised, while trying to step closer to him.
"I...I am sorry. Please ..."
"I said leave, Miss Miller," He almost shouted at her, making her flinch.
A sob broke out from her. Seraphina nibbled on her lower lip, trying to control herself from breaking down into tears.
She turned around and tried to run away from there but before she could touch the door knob, she found herself getting forcefully spun around and then slammed against the closed door.
Her teary eyes turned more glossy by watching his darken gaze which now was glistening with tears of rage, possessiveness, hurt, love, desire, longing but most importantly obsession, that forbidden obsession of his which knew no boundaries.
Both of their teary gazes collided against each other as he leaned closer to her ear and uttered.
"Today I'll f#ck you and your sorry so hard that you would never dare to even think about leaving me, Seraphina Aries Miller,"
