Seraphina slowly stepped inside his room and saw him standing at his window. His back was on her. Seraphina sighed and walked towards him.
She stood beside him but didn't say anything but she knew he was aware of her presence. They both stared outside at the bright sky of the day which was looking so calm and beautiful.
Seraphina slowly extended her palm and touched his hand. She intertwined their fingers but without looking at him and in return felt him tightening his hold on her.
None of them dare to break that silence until Seraphina tossed her head only to find him already gazing at her.
Her chest squeezed in pain by watching those tears in his eyes and some had even rolled down from his face. He was looking shattered, totally vulnerable. Nobody could guess, it was that same exact man who didn't even know how to identify his own emotions, let alone expressing it.
Seraphina reduced the distance between them and then placed her palm over his cheek. She wiped his tears and then bent his head. Seraphina placed a gentle kiss on his forehead.
"I know it hurts, Arzal," She softly breathed out, looking into his watery eyes.
"I know your heart is in pain. I know I can do nothing to stop your pain but I know I can do one thing... " She halted as her own gaze turned teary.
"That is, standing by your side and tell you that you're not alone. You don't have to endure this pain all alone," Seraphina uttered.
"Because if you can share your happiness, your smile, your everything with me then you've to share your fears, your pain, your tears with me too,"
More tears streamed down from his cheeks, at her words.
"And I promise I'll open heartedly accept your pain as mine, your tears as mine, your fears as mine," Her gaze remained on his.
"Just try for once to share your fears and pain with me, Arzal and I promise, I'll try my best to take them away from you,"
Arzal teared up more badly at the end of her words. He hugged her tightly and buried his face in her neck.
He lost his strength to even stand but Seraphina caged him tightly and sat with him on the floor. Her tears turned more abrupt hearing his whimpers.
"I had always treated her like my mother. I... I was just wanting a mother's warmth from her because the day I had seen my mother lifeless before I had lost myself," He said, in between his sobs, still hugging her.
"I died with her but even my dead soul left me when I saw my father dead in front of me,"
Seraphina's eyes brimmed with more tears, who was sliding her palm over his head, as she heard him saying those things.
"I had never wanted anything but my parents' love and warmth but I.. I lost both of them. I became completely alone," He took out his buried emotions.
"I had just wanted someone to love me like a parent loves his child. I wanted to make my parents proud of me. I just wanted to give them every happiness in this world but... " He halted because those words were even painful for him to utter.
"And I tried to find my mother's warmth in her. I did everything in my life she told me to do, so that I can make my mom proud of me because I had always considered her my mother but she.. she was that person who has taken my parents away from me. How could she hate me so much when I loved and cared for her like a real son? How?" His sobbing turned loud, making her more hurt.
"Why don't I deserve to get the love of my parents? Why did my parents get away from me? Why did they leave me alone? Why?" His grip tightened around her.
"Why didn't they take me with them? Why?"
A sob broke out from her mouth, hearing him. Seraphina took out his face and saw his teary reddened eyes with her own glossy ones.
"Why did they leave me alone here, Sera?" He asked her, like a lifeless body.
She shattered down into tears by hearing and watching him because she knew the pain of not having her parents beside her.
"You're not alone, Arzal," She muttered.
"I know I can't fulfil that emptiness inside your heart of your parents love but I can love you the extent where I'll cage your broken heart in my love,"
He just stared at her.
"Our parents love us and they are always with us even if we couldn't see them but we can feel them always by our side," She again wiped his tears
"They are always with us because they are the parts of our being and will remain with us, forever,"
They both stared into each other's eyes until she leaned closer to his face and peppered soft kisses all over his face, making his body lose itself in her warmth and softness.
Seraphina again pulled him into a soft yet tight hug and he immediately embraced her because he knew she was the only shield he needed to protect himself from that unendurable pain.
"You're not alone, Arzal. You're not," She said amiably in his ear.
"She's right, Arzal. You're not alone, buddy,"
They broke the hug and turned their heads and witnessed Nevada, Nicklaus and Nathan there. They walked in and all of them sat beside them on the floor.
"You've us, me, Nick, Nate and Seph then how could you be alone?" Nevada said, even her own eyes were glistening.
"Exactly, you're my partner in crime and my brother, Arzal then how can you consider yourself alone?" Nicklaus uttered, trying to make him smile.
"And you can never be alone when you've so many people who love you and care for you, Arzal," Nathan said, placing his palm on Arzal's shoulder.
"Hey me too, how can you all forget about me?"
Everyone looked down at Nevada's lap and saw Evelyn on the video call.
"You're all my family and Mr Grayson, don't worry I'll be your bff because this Nick is too old and boring to be your bff,"
Everyone chuckled, hearing Evelyn. Even Arzal smiled.
"Yeah.. Congratulations for your new bff, Grayson," Nicklaus rolled his eyes, sarcastically.
"Don't be jealous, you old man and besides you're too ugly and old to be his bff. Mr Grayson needs a pretty and beautiful bff like me," She flaunted her hair, making everyone laugh.
Everyone looked at Arzal, who was staring at all of them, affectionately.
"Thank you for being here with me," He said.
"Shut up, you handsome demon and come here for a group hug," Nevada hugged Arzal and then pulled Nathan into their hug.
"Hug him, after all he's going to be your brother in law, soon,"
Nathan chuckled, hearing her and then hugged Arzal. Seraphina and Nicklaus also joined them.
"Hey, I left," Evelyn whined through the call.
"Fine, let me send a virtual hug and when I'll meet you all guys, we'll do our group hug again,"
Everyone chortled and felt that beautiful moment of having each other.
