"What the hell are you saying, Nevada?" Nicklaus gritted out while walking inside the room. Evelyn followed him too.
Both Arzal and Seraphina got up from the bed. Arzal stood in front of a fuming Nicklaus and clutched his arm.
"Nick, she's already crying. We'll talk later,"
"No," Nicklaus slightly raised his voice and then glared at Nevada, who was now standing beside Seraphina.
"I've always ignored her childishness, even supported her on them but this..." He frowned.
"This is not acceptable. She has lost her damn mind, that's why she is thinking things like this,"
His words made Nevada angry, who was already very hurt.
"Why is it not acceptable? What exactly have I done wrong that you all are calling me childish?" She yelled at him. Nicklaus clenched his jaw.
"Neva, calm down. It's... "
"No, Seraphina. How can I calm down? You don't know these typical men who only know how to control the women, being their husband, boyfriend or brother,"
Things had started heating more, after Nevada's angry outburst.
"Really? When the hell did I try to control you?" Nicklaus seethed at her.
Nevada's eyes turned more watery but her anger increased more.
"Right at this moment, because of you, Nathan has rejected me and my love. Because of you he told me.... "
"It's not because of Nicklaus, Nevada,"
Everyone turned their heads and saw Nathan at the door. He walked in and stood before Nevada.
"It's because the things you're wanting are not right. The things you're making up in your mind are irrational," Nathan tried to make her understand.
More tears gathered into her eyes, hearing him.
"My love isn't irrational. I love you and I... "
"Enough, Nevada," Nicklaus shouted at her, having enough with all of this.
"If I would have known earlier then I would have never agreed to let you here but we're leaving right now," Nicklaus spat
"And you are never going to meet Nathan ever again, so this madness of yours will automatically get out from your head,"
Nevada lost herself in her anger, at his words.
"Why? Why can't I love him? Why can't I be with him? It's because I'm only 18 but even if I'm immature, Nathan is mature enough to handle both of us,"
Nathan sighed. She was not understanding. Nicklaus turned more angry.
"That's f#cking enough. We're leaving and you'll forget about him. That's it, Nevada,"
"No, never. I won't," Nevada screamed out of her lungs, while breaking down into tears.
"Evelyn is also of my age but you like her. Don't you?" Now that was something which shocked everyone.
Evelyn became stunned, hearing Nevada whereas Nicklaus turned red in rage.
"Shut the f#ck up, Nevada," He growled but she didn't listen.
"Why? You're a f#cking coward who is afraid to tell his feelings to the girl you love but I'm not. I love Nathan and I'm not afraid or ashamed to accept it before anyone. I... "
"NEVADA,"
Nevada terribly flinched at Nicklaus' roaring voice and watching him blazing, Arzal decided to take matters in his hand before it turned worse.
"That's enough, Nick. Let's stop this here and Nevada, you... "
"No," She yelled while sobbing.
"You all hate me. You all are just thinking about your own selves," Nevada's body was shaking, as now she was on the edge of breaking.
"I won't be with any of you. You all are selfish," Is all she said and tried to run away from there but Nathan was quick enough to hold her wrist.
Now the calm Nathan was looking angry, terribly angry with her and her stubbornness. Nevada tried to snatch her wrist from his hold but he didn't let her go.
"I need to talk to her, Nicklaus," Nathan uttered.
Nicklaus sighed and then reluctantly nodded at him, causing Nathan to almost drag her from there.
"Nathan isn't a bad person, Nick," Arzal said, as they left.
"I know your concern is absolutely right but Nevada is like my sister too and I know Nathan enough to assure you that he would be the best man for Nevada,"
Nicklaus exhaled a sharp breath, hearing Arzal. He rubbed his palm over his forehead in exhaustion.
"I have nothing against Nathan, Arzal. I know he's a good person, in fact one of the best people I know but him and Nevada together... It's just... I don't know. I can't make myself to accept it," He said.
"Don't worry. Give it some time and everything will be alright. Even if our Nevada is childish, Nathan is understanding enough to protect and take care of her. He would never hurt her," Arzal assured him, earning a plain nod from Nicklaus.
Arzal trailed his eyes at Seraphina, who was gazing at Evelyn which made him to travel his eyes at Evelyn and he became startled by witnessing Evelyn practically murdering Nicklaus with her glare.
Arzal chuckled, remembering how badly Nevada had just ratted his best friend out.
"Let's go, Sera because I guess Nicklaus needs some good beating,"
Nicklaus scoffed at him and then noticed Arzal was signalling him towards somewhere and his throat dried up by watching Evelyn on the edge of really beating him.
"Have a safe night, Nicklaus Williams, though I highly doubt you will be saved tonight for the mess you've created," Arzal laughed. Nicklaus narrowed his eyes at him.
While chuckling, Arzal held Seraphina's hand and whispered in her ear.
"Let's go, kitten. Here someone is about to get slaughtered tonight,"
Seraphina looked at him, confused because she didn't understand him. Arzal laughed more at her adorable reaction.
"Don't worry, I'll make you understand with a live and thorough example," He uttered and took her away from there, leaving Evelyn and Nicklaus alone in that room.
