"But where are you taking me?"
"Just a minute, Seraphina and you'll see yourself," Nevada replied.
They had blindfolded Seraphina in the middle of their way to their destination and now they had finally reached.
Seraphina was too confused to focus on what was actually happening, where they were taking her. Nevada and Evelyn were holding her arms, so she wouldn't trip on her walk and Nicklaus was following them with a smile.
Seraphina could feel they had entered somewhere but where?
Unknowingly, her heartbeat accelerated, until they both left her arms and she heard that voice.
"Happy Birthday, My Sephi,"
Seraphina's inflated heartbeat halted, hearing that voice. She immediately pulled that blindfold away from her eyes and her gaze bewildered.
Seraphina got startled, shocked by watching that person in front of her. For a moment, she thought it was a dream. Her mouth hung open. She was inside their own home and he was in front of her.
"Nate," Her voice came out as a shock.
Nathan beamed, whose eyes were glistening, watching his little sister finally before her.
Seraphina's wide eyes watered. She immediately threw her arms around him and hugged him with everything. A soft sob broke out from her. She couldn't believe her Nate was in front of her.
Seraphina felt her brother hug him tightly and pecked her hair. She was embracing her brother through her warmth and tears when her glossy gaze fell on those grey eyes which were from a distance were looking at them, with a small smile tugging over his lips.
Nobody needed to tell it through words because the warmth in those grey eyes had told her that he had done it.
"I missed you so much, my angel and it's just because of Mr Grayson, I am able to reach here on time on your birthday," Nathan told and kissed her forehead, affectionately and caressed her head.
"Happy birthday, my angel," He uttered, wiping her cheeks.
Seraphina's smile widened and then she trailed her eyes towards him. So that was why he wasn't there in his mansion from the morning. He was doing all of this for her.
Taking her slow strides towards him, Seraphina stood before him. Her azure eyes met with those silver eyes which were already on her, contented.
"Happy Birthday, Sera,"
Seraphina's heart bursted out with emotions, finally hearing those words from his mouth. That was why he hadn't wished her before. He wanted her to wish her through his actions before his words.
Seraphina's arms ached to hold him in his arms, to let this man own her very existence, who had thought about her before his own self.
Seraphina was about to hug him but got halted.
"HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY, SERAPHINA,"
Seraphina turned her gaze and saw Nevada, Evelyn, Nicklaus who were widely smiling at her. Her eyes fell on her surroundings where she noticed the entire place was decorated with grey balloons, flowers, chandeliers, shining lights. Everything was looking dreamy, a dream where she was the princess and there stood her evil prince.
"Thank you," She flashed a wide grin to everyone and then turned to look at her handsome evil prince.
"Thank you so much," Her eyes moistened again but now they were out of happiness. Happiness of having this man as hers in her fate.
Arzal smiled and cupped the side of her head, restraining himself from doing anything in front of Nathan which would ruin her day even a bit, ignoring the desire in his heart of embracing his girl, his azure eyes enchantress.
His keen gaze noticed she was actually looking like a princess in that dress he had selected for her. Indeed a princess, his princess.
"Okay guys, let's cut the cake before her birthday ends. It's already 11 and the weather has also turned bad outside, so before the light goes off, let's rock this night," Nevada giggled, excited and everyone chuckled.
Nathan walked towards Seraphina and held her hand.
"Let's go,"
Seraphina nodded and tossed her head. She gave Arzal a warm beam and nodded at him too.
"Now wish and then blow the candles," Nathan said, beaming.
Seraphina nodded with a grin and then looked at the beautiful cage before her which was also made up of grey colour. Happy birthday Seraphina was widely written on it and beautiful candles were illuminating its beauty more.
"Go ahead," Nathan spoke.
Seraphina looked at her brother, who was standing on her right and then she turned her head and saw him, who was present on her left and was also staring at her with a smile.
Seraphina clutched Nathan's hand in her and secretly held Arzal's palm too with her other hand, before closing her eyes and making her wish.
Unlatching her eyes, Seraphina blew the candles and everyone started clapping and wishing her.
She cut the cake and fed its first bite to her brother, who in return fed her too and then she turned around to feed him, who fed her before taking the bite from her hand.
Seraphina smiled heartedly and then fed everyone else.
"You're more sexy in real, Mr Miller,"
Everyone chuckled whereas Nicklaus frowned, witnessing his sister flattering over Nathan.
"What? Don't give me these looks, Nick. If he's single then I'm surely going to ask him out,"
"Neva," Nicklaus scoffed, whereas Nevada rolled her eyes and focused on Nathan.
"My brother is on his period, so ignore his mood swings. Tell me, Mr Miller, do you have a girlfriend?"
Nathan sniggered at her words.
"Fortunately I don't have one and currently I've no plan on having one because my sole focus is on my sister's health, her carrier, her studies and her happiness,"
Seraphina's heart warmed up, like always she was his priority before himself.
"Damn.. You're really my type. So, I'm not backing off anytime soon,"
Nathan chuckled and then spoke.
"I'll get something to drink for all of us,"
"Hey, let me help you. After our marriage, I'll be the one helping you in our kitchen,"
"Nevada," Nicklaus growled, earning an eye roll from her.
"I was kidding, Williams, so shut up," Nevada uttered and then she went inside the kitchen with Nathan.
"Oh.. No.. That bunch of balloons is about to fall," Evelyn said, looking at those unsettled balloons.
She grabbed Nicklaus's arms and spat.
"That side was your responsibility to decorate and you ugly old sag failed. Now let's correct it," She dragged him with her.
Seraphina tittered and was about to follow them but felt someone clutching her wrist. She tossed and looked at a grinning Arzal and before she could say anything, he started trawling her and she followed him gladly.
The cold and abrupt wind of the bad weather hitted her, shivering her entire body. He had taken her to the balcony.
Seraphina tugged her hair away from her face and looked at him, confused, who was gazing at her a little differently and before she could ask what happened, her heart stiffed hearing those words from his mouth.
