"I'll share the results of her blood reports in the evening. Till then, take care of her," The doctor uttered and then left from there.
Now everyone was standing on their places like statues, staring at each other like they had come to a different planet.
"Oh my... Seraphina is pregnant. Our Seraphina," Nevada yelled out of her lungs and dashed inside the room, followed by Evelyn.
Nicklaus sighed and looked at Nathan, who was glaring at Arzal. Nicklaus gulped.
"Okay, I guess.. You're about to get beaten up, Arzal. All the best, Nathan. Break his jaw but first let him meet her," Nicklaus chuckled and then went inside the room.
Nathan sighed, heavily and again looked at Arzal, who had turned into an ice and wasn't even blinking.
"If Seraphina wouldn't have been in love with you so much then I would've killed you right now, Arzal," The possessive brother in Nathan came out, who was too stunned to react to that news.
Nathan also stepped inside the room and saw Seraphina crying badly, who was sitting on the bed.
"Seph, calm down. It's not something to get saddened about. It's a beautiful blessing," Evelyn was hugging her and was trying to comfort her.
But Seraphina continued to cry because she didn't know how to react to it. It was so sudden and she was terrified of his reaction.
Nathan sighed and walked towards her. He sat beside her on the bed and cupped her face.
"Sephi, it's alright, angel. Don't cry, please,"
Seraphina shook her head aggressively and hugged him tightly.
"Seraphina, Nathan is right. Don't cry. It's not good for your health," Nicklaus uttered but Seraphina's tears were not stopping until.
"Arzal,"
Seraphina's heartbeat completely dropped, hearing that name from Nevada's mouth. He was here. Now how would she face him? That thought petrified her.
"I think we should let them talk alone," Nevada said and everyone nodded and started leaving.
Nathan also exhaled a heavy breath and patted her head and then walked past Arzal, out of the room.
Seraphina hadn't even dared to take her eyes up at him. She was looking down at her lap. Silent tears were flowing down from her eyes but her breathing hitched when she felt him coming closer to her.
Arzal sat beside her but Seraphina didn't look at him. She tightly shut her eyes and softly breathed out.
"I... I am sorry,"
She got no reply from him which made her more afraid.
"I know you're not ready for this but I... I forgot to take those pills last time..." Her voice was shivering.
Seraphina squeezed her palms at his silence and then slowly took her eyes up and her heart ached by watching tears in his eyes.
"W.. Why are you crying?" She asked, shedding her own tears. Arzal shrugged his head slowly and uttered.
"Why are you crying?"
More tears fell from her eyes at his question.
"Because I... know we're not ready to take this responsibility and it was my carelessness," She said but he again shook his head.
"It was my carelessness. I should've been more careful but.. " He stopped, as a tear rolled down from his cheek, hurting her more.
They both didn't know what to exactly feel about it. They surely hadn't expected it but couldn't help those butterflies dancing in their tummies after hearing that news.
Arzal got a little closer to her and then cupped her face.
"Can we consider this carelessness of ours as the most beautiful blessing of our life, Sera?"
Seraphina's heartbeat accelerated, hearing his words.
"Can we make this responsibility the most beautiful and happy journey of our life, with an even beautiful and blessed destination?"
Seraphina broke down into tears at the end of his words and hugged him tightly.
"Yes, we can, Arzal. We can," She sobbed.
He embraced her back and they both took out their emotions to each other and didn't even notice when their fear of responsibility turned into a blessing of happiness.
"I love you," Seraphina whispered in his ear. Arzal pulled back and placed his palm over her tummy and kissed her forehead.
"I love you and our baby more and more,"
Even those words from his mouth sounded so alluring to her 'our baby'.
Arzal bent his head down and pecked her tummy, making her heart tingle.
"Thank you so much for coming in our life," He uttered and Seraphina was overwhelmed by his words and behaviour.
Arzal again pulled her into a hug and kissed her head.
"Thank you, Sera. Thank you so much for bestowing me with this beautiful blessing, princess. Thank you so much,"
She smiled with tears in her eyes and then trailed her eyes at the door where she saw Nathan standing there with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes.
Nathan came closer towards her, gaining the couple's attention towards him and without stating anything further, he embraced both Arzal and Seraphina.
"Although I want to kill this boss of mine but I am so happy for you both," Nathan uttered. Both Seraphina and Arzal chuckled, hearing him.
"Congratulations to you both for stepping into this new faze of life,"
Both of them flashed Nathan a smile and then Nathan pecked her forehead.
"I'm so happy for you, Sephi," He pulled her into a warm hug again and Arzal just smiled.
"Hey! Ladies and gentlemen. We're on the line too to meet our soon going to be mamma and papa,"
They smiled, hearing Nevada who was standing at the door, along with Evelyn and Nicklaus. They all walked in and Evelyn and Nevada embraced Seraphina tightly and kissed either side of her cheeks.
"Many, many congratulations, Seraphina," Nicklaus uttered to her with a smile and looked at Arzal.
"And bro, you just rocked it," Nicklaus smirked, making Arzal glare at him.
"Okay.. Okay.. Now listen to me carefully, everyone," Nevada got up on the bed, gaining everyone's attention to her.
"In the evening we'll get her reports and I'm sure, it'll be positive and so on occasion of that, we should celebrate it with a party, a lot of food, music, dance and specially gifts for our soon going to be mamma and papa,"
Everyone smiled and nodded in agreement.
"Absolutely, this calls for a celebration, so let's cheer it up," Evelyn shouted in excitement.
Seraphina leaned on Nathan's shoulder and looked at Arzal with a smile whose eyes were already on her. Their gazes told each other that they were finally about to start that new journey of life together with a lot of happiness and love for each other.
In the evening, Seraphina was combing her hair while looking at the mirror. She dressed up in a plain black ankle-length dress for the celebration party.
Her heart was beating faster because the blood reports were still about to come and now she was hoping for a positive answer.
She was staring at herself in the mirror when she felt two arms wrapped around her tummy from behind. A warm smile formed on her by watching those grey eyes in the mirror.
"What's the secret, Miss Miller, that you're turning so beautiful everyday?"
She blushed, hearing him and then wrapped her arms over his.
"I'm not turning beautiful, Mr Grayson but the love in your eyes for me is turning more beautiful with every growing second,"
He beamed alluringly at her answer and then kissed her temple.
"Sera, I'm nervous for the results,"
Seraphina stretched her head to look at him.
"Me too,"
Arzal sighed but then his phone started ringing. He fished it out and gulped.
"Doctor,"
Seraphina's throat dried up as he picked up the call.
"Hello,"
Her heart was inflating in fear but it completely dropped when his smile vanished from his face.
