"ENOUGH, SERAPHINA,"
Seraphina badly flinched and looked at him, stunned. His reddened burning gaze had glossed. His veins had stretched out on his neck and temple.
He clutched her arms in a painful grip, making her hiss. His blazing gaze bored deeper into her.
"I was enduring all of your f#cking nonsense till now just because I thought you had a misunderstanding but right now, you have crossed every level of my endurance," He snapped at her, roaringly.
"What do you know about my mother, Rebecca, that you're accusing her of something so pathetic? What?" He yelled at her, making her flinch in fear.
"She has devoted her entire life to raising me and making me what I'm today. She has loved me more than a real mother could ever love her children. She has always put me above her all priorities and you are accusing that person?" He glared at her watery eyes.
"You are worried about your brother and his life because he's your only family and you love him then how f#cking dare you to accuse my mother and my only family, Seraphina?"
Her entire being turned numb at his words. Arzal raised his index finger at her, warningly.
"I've told you that night about my past because I thought you would never use it against me but you have just not used it against me, Seraphina, you f#cking crushed me with it in your so called childishness,"
Not a single word came out from her sealed lips but her azure lifeless eyes didn't dare to get apart from his glossy eyes.
"But I'm warning you for the first and last time, I won't endure a single more f#cking word against my mother otherwise.. "
He leaned closer to her face and gazed at her threateningly.
"I won't spare any person who would dare to even raise his eyes at my mother.. any f#cking person," He slightly shoved her away from him, making her stumbled and then stormed out from the room, leaving a completely shattered Seraphina behind him, who was now feeling something which was breaking her soul. He didn't trust her. He had never trusted her when she had trusted him with her everything.
Arzal threw everything from his bed, cushions, pillows, duvets on the floor. He clutched his hair in rage and shoved everything away from the dressing table, breaking everything. His flaming eyes fell on his own reflection in the mirror and he had again seen that old Arzal whom he himself hated and was terrified of, who knew no boundaries of emotions, feelings and mercy. Who was capable of destroying anything for his sick and wicked intentions and needs.
He was again seeing that Arzal in him, which he was, before she came into his life. He growled while fisting his palms and gawking at his own eyes.
Losing himself in his anger, he punched the mirror which was his old habit of taking his rage out. The mirror broke and Arzal clutched his hair in exasperation and fell on the floor.
A tear slipped down from his eyes when he recalled how hurtfully she was staring at him when he uttered those words to her but how could he endure it when she was accusing that person of hurting his happiness, who had given up her own happiness for him?
He wanted to trust her but how could he when she was going against that woman who had practically given him a new life?
Arzal wiped his eyes and got up on his feet. Even after everything, he couldn't stand making her hurt so badly. She must be too broken after the way he behaved and talked to her. Her emotions and feelings were too fragile and yet even after knowing about this, he didn't try to understand her and hurted her more.
Arzal dashed out of his room to apologise to Seraphina for his behaviour and words.
Arzal entered her room, hoping to see her there but she wasn't even there. He had practically searched for her in the entire mansion but she was nowhere, not even in her room.
Arzal immediately dialled her number but then heard her phone ring and found her phone on her bed. Panic rose over him. Where did she go? Did he really hurt her that bad?
Running out of her room, she straight went to ask about her to the guards who told him that they had seen Seraphina going out of the mansion, almost an hour ago and she was even crying but they didn't have the audacity to stop her.
More guilt washed over him. Arzal gritted his teeth. At that moment, he was loathing himself for bashing on her so badly, knowing how badly it would affect her, both mentally and emotionally.
The fear of something wrong would happen to her had started trembling him in fear, especially when someone who was always there, ready to hurt and harm her. No, he couldn't lose her. He wouldn't let anything happen to her.
Arzal kicked off his car and then drove away in search of her.
It was more than a couple of hours, he was searching for her, like a maniac, restless, desperate. The sun had already set down. The evening had engulfed the sky. She hadn't even reached her own home. Nathan had called him a little while ago to know about her because she wasn't picking up her phone. Arzal lied to him and didn't tell him that she had run away from his house because he knew Nathan would panic and would go himself out to search for her at that time which could possibly be harmful for him too and that would hurt her more, which he didn't want at any cost.
Even Nicklaus was searching for her, as he had informed him about this.
"Have you seen this girl?" He asked, showing her picture on his phone to a man, who was going somewhere.
That man shrugged his head and like that Arzal had almost turned breathless because nobody had seen her. Where the hell did she go?
He was about to rush towards his car to search for her somewhere else when his ear caught something.
"Mummy.. She even helped me today from falling from the swing,"
He snapped his eyes and saw a kid, who was smiling and was talking to his mother. They both were walking on the footpath.
Arzal rushed towards them and then showed them her picture.
"Have you seen this girl? Please tell me?" He asked that woman, who shook her head, until that little boy's eyes fell on the picture.
"Yes, she's that girl, who helped me today in the park and even played with me, mummy,"
Arzal looked at that boy, stunned.
"Where is that park? Can you please tell me?"
The boy's mother nodded and then told him the location of that park. He thanked them and then drove away from there as hurriedly as possible.
He strode inside that park and wandered his eyes everywhere in search of her. The park was totally empty.
"Sera," He yelled out of his lungs but no response.
He further went inside and looked for her everywhere until his eyes finally found what he was looking for her.
There she was, sitting on the grass, leaning against a tree, looking at the dark sky.
Arzal clenched his jaw and stormed towards her. He grabbed her arm and forced to stand on her legs.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He shouted at her, making her slowly take her eyes up and his heart clenched in pain when he noticed how swollen and red her eyes had turned because of the uncountable number of tears she had shedded and still shedding.
He tried to wrap his arms around her but she pushed him away from her with her full strength.
"Stay away from me," Seraphina screamed at him while breaking down into tears, making him bewildered.
"I want nothing from that person who doesn't even trust me,"
