Seraphina hurriedly strode towards Arzal's study room, along with Albert. She didn't want to miss a single second anymore. Arzal needed to know about this before Rebecca could cause more damage to her or her brother or even to him.
Seraphina pushed open his door and saw Arzal talking to someone on his phone. Hearing the sound of the door opening, his eyes snapped at her.
"Sera," His brows knitted in confusion by watching her extremely worried self until he saw Albert coming behind her which made him more untidy.
"What happened, Sera? Is everything al.. "
"You need to know about something very important, Arzal?" She halted him, terribly tense. She walked towards him and her panicked presence made him worried too. Her breathing was hard and her gaze was even moistened. She was looking petrified.
"Hey... first calm down, Princess," He placed his palm over her face while with the other hand, cupped her arm softly.
"What happened? Why are you looking so worried?" Even his voice turned anxious.
Seraphina gulped in order to calm herself down and finally uttered those words to him.
"Nathan's accident was not an accident. She tried to kill him and she had send Benjamin to kill me that day and those two men, who tried to hurt me outside my school a...and she had even planned Dale's accident,"
Arzal's entire facial expression turned firm at her words. He already knew about this but how did she know about this?
"S.. She has done all of this and even tried to h..hit me with a car, yesterday outside my school,"
Arzal clenched his jaw. His gaze darkened. He just wanted to know who was behind all of this.
"Who has done all of this?" He asked her in a predatory lowered voice but her answer shook him till his core.
"Aunt Rebecca,"
Arzal turned shocked and bewildered at her reply. For a moment, he couldn't believe what he had heard.
"What?" He asked, believing he had misheard her until.
"Aunt Rebecca has done all of this," She again uttered, nodding her head while tearing up more.
"She wants to hurt me and Nate. She.. "
"Are you even hearing yourself, Sera?" He stopped her. Arzal looked at her coldly.
"You're accusing my mother for all of this,"
More tears filled in her eyes at his statement.
"I.. I am not lying. Believe me please, she has done all of this and she is even planning on killing me today, that's why she took me here today,"
Arzal chewed his inner cheek in anger. He didn't know how to react to this.
"Ser... . "
"Please Arzal, trust me. I'm not lying," She almost pleaded him.
"If you don't believe my words then ask Mr Albert, he has told me about all of this,"
Arzal trailed his blazing gaze at Albert, who was silently hearing and watching everything until now.
Seraphina also looked at him and said with a hope.
"Please tell him everything.. Please tell him how aunt Rebecca has forced you to do all of this. How much she... "
"What are you talking about, Miss Miller?"
Albert's words froze Seraphina completely. She looked at him startled.
"I don't know anything about this. You told me Mr Grayson has called for me, that's why I followed you here to his study room," Albert gave a confused look to her.
Seraphina was beyond stunned. He had just betrayed her so easily.
"But you just told me that aunt Rebecca is trying to kill me and my b.. "
"Miss Miller, I don't want to get into your personal matters but this isn't right, accusing someone so genuine and warm hearted person like Mrs Grayson. She is a very kind and caring lady. She could never even think about harming anyone,"
Shock after shock, Seraphina was speechless.
"I'm sorry, Mr Grayson. I thought you had called me, as Miss Miller told me, that's why I came here, following her but now I'll take my leave," Is all Albert said before leaving the room.
Seraphina had turned into a statue. She couldn't believe what had just happened. How could someone double cross another person so easily?
She slowly travelled her eyes forward and saw those grey eyes which now were burning with anger and pain but he still didn't lose his calm with her.
"Sera... "
"No, Arzal. I'm not lying. He had told me about all of this. I don't know why he's lying right now," She remained adamant to her words.
"Aunt Rebecca has tried to kill me and Nate and I wouldn't have been so adamant about this if it wouldn't have involved my brother's life. But I won't let that woman to hurt my brother,"
Her words made him deadly angry. She was now testing his limits but he didn't want to bash on her and hurt her emotions with his anger.
"Let's end this topic right here, Sera,"
"You're not understanding it, Arzal. How can I let it end like this?" Seraphina raised her voice at him. Now her fear had started turning into rage.
"How can I just sit and watch that woman hurting or worse, killing my brother, who's my only family?" She snapped at him.
"How can I calm down, knowing that that woman is capable of doing anything? She doesn't care about anyone or anything. She can go to any extent for her selfish motives just like she had killed your mother, Arzia, Arzal?"
Arzal's fists tightened. His demeanour turned malicious, at her words. Now he was on the very edge of losing his control whereas Seraphina's fear and hurt had blocked her rational senses to take out her words in a proper way. She just continued to say whatever was bothering her and was making her terrified.
"That woman is cunning and heartless. She'll kill my brother just like she had killed your mot..."
"ENOUGH, SERAPHINA," Arzal roared at her with his every might.
