"I want nothing from that person who doesn't even trust me," Seraphina screamed at him.
Her reddened cheeks continued to get damped with her tears. Arzal got angry too at her choice of words for him but it didn't overpower the hurt he was feeling by watching her in pain.
He tried to walk towards her but she immediately got away from him.
" Just leave me alone on my own. I need nothing from you, " She yelled at him, tearing up more.
"Just go away from here. Go... " She turned around to run away from there but he grabbed her wrist and tugged her on his chest.
"Leave me. I said leave me," She shouted, while hitting on his chest with her freed palm.
Having enough, Arzal picked her up in his embrace and started walking towards his car. Seraphina yelled, protested and even hitted his shoulder and chest but she failed in all her attempts to escape him.
He took her to his private penthouse because he knew she was in her worst state to deal with anyone in his mansion. He tried to drag her inside his penthouse but she continued to struggle.
Getting done with her fighting skills, he again hoisted her up in his arms and took her to their shared bedroom.
He gently placed her down on the bed but she immediately tried to get away. Arzal held her both wrists and shoved her against the bed again.
"Let me go. Leave me," She whimpered while kicking her legs which he caged in between his thighs.
His gaze softened by watching her teary messed up self.
"I'm sorry, Sera," He delicately uttered, looking into her watery blue eyes.
"I'm sorry for hurting you and saying those things to you, Princess,"
Seraphina teared up more at his words.
"Don't waste your time in dealing with my childishness, Mr Grayson," She uttered, shedding more terribly.
Extreme amount of guilt engulfed him. He was ashamed of himself for saying that to her.
"I am sorry, Sera. So sorry, Princess. I didn't mean to.. "
"I don't want your sorry. I want you to trust me, Arzal but I know you'll never because you've never trusted me," She stopped his words.
Arzal sighed and wiped her tears away from her cheeks.
"I trust you, Sera. I trust you more than trusting my own self,"
"But that trust wasn't enough for you to believe me and my words," She blurted, angrily.
Exhaling sharply, he cupped her cheek.
"Sera, please try to understand me. She's my mother. She has taken care of me from that point where I had lost everything then how can I.... " His voice started cracking. Seraphina noticed his watery eyes.
"Put yourself in my place, Sera. How would you've reacted if I would have said all these things to you about Nathan,"
Seraphina turned silent beneath him but just gazed at his glossy grey orbs.
"I'm not lying, Arzal. Please believe me,"
A tear fell from his eyes and dropped on her eyes and got mixed with her tears, at her pleading.
"P.. Please trust me... please,"
Seraphina knew it was an impossible choice to make for him but he had to see the things with clear eyes before it became too late.
She lifted her palms and cupped his face.
"I know it's difficult for you to believe me. I know you love her like your own mother but at least try to understand why I'm saying this," Her voice turned more gentle.
"What I'll get making you against her when I know she's very important for you and your happiness and I want nothing but you to be happy and safe,"
Arzal wordlessly heard and watched her.
"Think how would I know about all of this, that everything was a plan to harm me and Nate? Mr Albert himself had told me about all of this but I don't know why he lied in front of you," She said.
"I've never even thought about hurting you, Arzal let alone taking her away from you when I know how much you love her, like your own mother and when I know how painful was your past,"
Their glossy eyes bored deeper into each other.
"I.. I could never even think about taking a child away from his parents when I myself know the pain of losing my both parents when I was just a k.. kid," A sob broke out from her at the end of her words, turning his eyes more glossy.
Arzal hugged her tightly as tightly as possible and they both broke into each other's arms.
Seraphina's heart ached more by hearing his soft whimpers against her neck. She was just thinking about herself when she ran away from his house because she was badly hurt by his words but she never tried to think about how painful it was for him too, knowing and believing those things about that person whom he considered as his mother.
He slightly pulled back and found her already staring at him. His tears were falling on her cheeks and were mixing with her tears.
"I'm sorry," She apologised in her breaking voice.
"If I wouldn't have been in your life then you wouldn't have to get so hurt. I'm s... "
He shut her up by crashing his lips on hers.
"Don't even think about it, Seraphina," His voice was clear, determined and firm.
He looked into her eyes with his own teary ones.
"You're not in my life. You're my life, a life which I had forever craved to have," He uttered.
"So don't even think about taking my life away from me,"
Seraphina teared up more and pressed her lips over his while hugging him firmly. How would she ever be able to survive this life without this person who had now gotten attached to her soul?
And for Arzal she was his soul, a soul which he thought he had lost after watching her mother's lifeless body before him but he again found that soul back by feeling this azure eyes human in his arms. He didn't even want to think about how he would ever survive that life without her because he knew it was either, he would kill any person who would dare to take her away from him or would kill himself if she tried to take herself away from him.
Their mouths devoured each other at a slow and passionate pace. They both finally felt like their each and every pain got teared apart from them by feeling each other caged in their arms.
They both broke apart from their kiss when their breathing inflated. Arzal pressed his forehead against her and closed his eyes until.
"Please try to trust me, Arzal,"
He slowly opened his eyes only to find her already staring at him pleadingly.
"Please believe me,"
