"No, we're not going anywhere," Both Nicklaus and Arzal spat at the same time, making Nevada frown.
They all were in Arzal's study room because the girls were there to ask them about going shopping with them.
"Yes, Neva. You all want to go then go on your own. Take the driver and guards with you but we're not going. Me and Arzal have a lot of work to do today,"
"But it's the weekend, Nick," Nevada whined.
"Yeah... weekend for you but not for us, Nevada," Arzal uttered, frowning.
"Not all of us go to school so that we'll get to enjoy our weekend. We have to work all days of the week,"
All the girls felt offended at Arzal's comment.
"Pardon, Mr Grayson but we students also study 7 days a week," Seraphina retorted back, gaining those grey eyes attention on her.
"We also do homework, assignments, projects work everyday and even on our weekends," Seraphina uttered further, completely displeased by Arzal's statement.
He arched his eyebrows at her in amusement.
"Really, Miss Miller?" He asked her, playfully.
"Yes, Mr Grayson," She scoffed
"And we even have to prepare for our final exams, tests, terminals which isn't something easy,"
Arzal smirked whereas Nicklaus chuckled.
"Seems like junior Miller has gotten offended with Mr Grayson's words," Nicklaus stated.
"And why won't she be? A student's life isn't that easy like you all think," Evelyn spat, earning an eye roll from Nicklaus.
"Here's comes another lecturer to lecture,"
Evelyn clenched her jaw.
"This is not a lecture, you olg ugly sag but let it be, it's not even your fault. How would even you know about the tensions and responsibilities of a student life when you've never gone to school, Mr Williams,"
Both Nevada and Arzal laughed at Evelyn's comment whereas Nicklaus glared at her.
"Damn... how was the roast, Nick?" Arzal chuckled.
"F#ck off, Grayson," Nicklaus seethed.
"Language, Mr old man," Nevada threw his words back at her brother.
"You've tiny cute, innocent and adorable teenagers and students here in this room, so use your language wisely," Nevada showed her innocent eyes. Nicklaus groaned.
"Yeah... you all are the most innocent teenagers on the earth,"
Both Nevada and Evelyn giggled until everyone's eyes trailed towards the owner of those azure eyes, which were actually looking at all of them cluelessly.
"Ok fine, let's exclude Seraphina from this fake innocent teenagers list because she's actually the real one," Nicklaus laughed.
Seraphina still gaped at everyone untidily. She wasn't understanding if they had come to invite both of them for the shopping then how they reached at this point of everyone's innocence.
Arzal sniggered and walked towards her. Without any hesitation, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer, making her stunned.
"Well, indeed, these azure eyes are the epitome of innocence," He said, gazing into her beautiful innocuous eyes.
"Wow, how romantic," Nevada giggled, along with Evelyn.
"Yeah and make sure to keep your girl safe from these tiny devils," Nicklaus glared at both Nevada and Evelyn, making them scoff.
Arzal beamed at Nicklaus's words and answered, without taking his eyes away from her oceanic gaze.
"I'll keep my girl safe and protected from every evil of this world,"
A big grin formed on Seraphina's face.
"Then let's go shopping with us," She said, showing her wide smile.
Arzal shrugged his head and said no.
"Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee," She sang her please, making him chuckle but he still shook his head then Seraphina's little mind decided to turn a little devilish.
"Fine then," Seraphina sighed and looked at Nevada. Arzal was keenly noticing her reaction.
"Let's go on our own and if we get kidnapped or robbed then we will call the police, okay?"
Arzal tightened his grip on her waist, making her look at him. He was looking dead serious.
"And why the f#ck anyone will kidnap you?"
"Language, Mr Grayson," Nevada chuckled. Arzal frowned.
"You never know when you'll get kidnapped or robbed, so we needed to be alerted in advance, sir," Seraphina chirped, mentally giggling at his reaction.
Arzal sent her a cold glare before spatting.
"Told the driver to take out the f#cking car, Nick. We're going with them,"
Both Nevada and Evelyn jumped in excitement whereas Seraphina gave him a victorious grin. Arzal clenched his jaw and leaned his head closer to ear.
"You'll soon get your punishment for playing this little devil's role, Miss Miller,"
Her cheeks hued. He pecked her ear and smirked evilly.
"Hey, you horny couple. Let's go," Nevada spoke, breaking their trance and then they all started leaving.
Seraphina was also about to follow them when Arzal grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him.
"Your countdown begins now, Miss Miller. Be ready and prepared in advance for the consequences," He cooed, hitching her breath in her throat.
He held her palm in his and with a chortle, took her with him out of there.
"Wow... these dresses are so beautiful and pretty," Evelyn said, wandering her eyes all over that place of the mall where different kinds of clothes and outfits were present.
Seraphina was also staring at them with a wide smile on her face.
"Welcome, Mr Grayson," The manager of that place greeted him because his entity was very well known and highly reputed Arzal nodded and spoke.
"They're my family. Make sure you serve them with the best," His tone was firm and curt.
Seraphina looked at him, impressed and offended at the same time because he sounded very rude but at the same time, she couldn't deny how handsome and hot he sounded and looked like that.
"Sure, Mr Grayson. Please come ma'am," The manger gestured towards all the girls, who happily walked inside the place.
"This colour is so beautiful. It would definitely look perfect on Seraphina," Evelyn uttered, showing the black shining gown to Nevada. Nevada shrugged her head.
"It's too simple. I want her to give something heavy and flowing," She told, earning a nod from Evelyn.
"Hey, why don't you both ask Seraphina, what type of dress she'll wear?" Nicklaus poked his nose into their secret conversation.
"Shut up, Nick. Keep your voice low," Nevada said, glancing at Seraphina, who was standing at a distance from them and was wandering the place like a happy kid.
"But why?" Nicklaus asked. Arzal was present beside him who was staring at a happy Seraphina until his ear caught Evelyn's words.
"Because next week is Seraphina's 19th birthday and me and Nevada has decided to gift her a beautiful gown, so don't you dare to spoil our surprise for her,"
Arzal snapped his eyes at Evelyn
"I guess then we should celebrate her birthday. What do you say, Arzal?" Nicklaus said and Arzal nodded.
"No, Seraphina doesn't want to celebrate her birthday this year," Evelyn said, turning Arzal confused.
"And why doesn't she want to celebrate it?" He finally asked her.
Evelyn sighed and glanced at Seraphina who was checking a dress on a dummy.
"Don't tell her that I have told you about this but she has never celebrated her birthday without her brother and this year, Nathan isn't here with her, so she doesn't want to celebrate her birthday and has told us to not tell about her birthday to anyone,"
Arzal heard Evelyn's each and every word. He travelled his eyes at Seraphina and a pang of guilt washed over him, watching her still smiling when inside he had snatched the biggest reason of her happiness away from her in his selfishness but still she never complained about it to anyone and even accepted him as her own, wholeheartedly.
Arzal sighed and just gazed at Seraphina, who finally came back to them after roaming the entire place.
"Did you both decide what you're going to buy?" She asked and her friends shook their heads.
"Okay then let's decide together," Saying that, all the girls started looking for the dresses but his grey eyes remained on her until.
"Her happiness is going to cost you your happiness, Arzal," Nicklaus uttered, standing beside Arzal which made him exhale sharply because that was the truth her happiness was really going to cost him his happiness, which was she herself.
