"Nervous?"
"Very much," Seraphina replied to her brother, who was making her ponytail. It was the day of her final exam's results. It had been a couple of months since that Rebecca incident had happened. Everything and everyone had fallen back into the line, as the time passed.
"Don't be because I know my Sephi will get very good grades," Nathan uttered, getting done finishing her ponytail.
Seraphina sighed and got up from her dressing table. She turned around and hugged him.
"But what if I don't get good marks?"
Nathan smiled, hearing her. He took out her face from his chest and palmed it.
"You've done your best, right? You've worked hard day and night for your exams, haven't you?" He asked. Seraphina nodded because she had genuinely tried to do her best in her exams.
"Then nothing else matters because your outcome depends upon the work you've done to get the outcome," He said, smiling.
Hearing him, automatically a smile formed on her face.
"You're the best brother in the world,"
Nathan chuckled and pecked her forehead.
"And you're the best angel in the world,"
Seraphina giggled at his words and then they both heard the doorbell.
"I guess, Neva and Eve are here," Seraphina uttered and ran out of her room.
"Careful on the stairs, Sephi," Nathan shouted and then followed her.
"Stop, Evelyn. That's the 7th bottle of water you've finished drinking from the past 1 hour," Nevada frowned at Evelyn who was continuously drinking water.
"Shut up, Neva. My body is turning dehydrated in fear while thinking about the result. I don't want to faint while taking my report card," Evelyn uttered, sipping water from the bottle.
"This girl," Nicklaus sighed, who had also come there along with Arzal.
"Okay, guys. Let's go, my parents have reached the school premises," Evelyn uttered, as she heard her phone beeping and then checked it.
Everyone nodded and all the men wished the girls goodluck.
"All the best," Arzal whispered in Seraphina's ear and then pecked her temple as they were walking towards his car. Seraphina smiled and then they all drove away from there.
"Yoohoo..... We all got done with our high school, yay... . " Nevada was jumping in happiness on the sofa. They all had come back from school after getting their report cards and all the girls had passed their year with very good grades.
"Neva, Arzal's sofa will get broken the way you're dancing on it," Evelyn frowned. All of them had come to Arzal's mansion.
"Who cares? It's either I'm breaking this sofa or breaking Nicklaus's bones in happiness,"
Nicklaus glared at his sister, after hearing her remark whereas Evelyn chuckled.
"You've a better option. Go and break, Nathan's waist," Evelyn winked, mischievously, turning Nevada pink in embarrassment.
Nathan choked on his own air whereas Nicklaus coughed as they both understood what she meant.
"Shut up, Evelyn," Nevada shot her a deadly glare.
"The food is ready, beautiful ladies and handsome gentlemen,"
All of them turned their heads and saw Seraphina coming out of the kitchen, holding a tray of food, followed by Arzal who was also holding bowls of food.
They both had prepared the lunch for everyone together as Seraphina had requested Arzal to teach her how to cook properly and currently he was giving her those lessons.
Nevada jumped off the sofa and dashed towards them.
"Yum... it smells so tasty. I'm really very hungry," She rubbed her tummy. Everyone chuckled and then settled down on the bed.
"Yummy, it's so tasty. You both have done a very good job, guys," Evelyn remarked, eating the fried chicken.
Arzal smiled at her compliment and then looked at Seraphina but his brows furrowed in confusion when he noticed she wasn't eating but just playing with it.
"Sera, what happened? Why are you not eating?"
Seraphina took her eyes up and just shook her head.
"I don't feel like eating it,"
Her answer made him more confused because she was the one who told him to make fried chicken as they were her favourite.
"Eat a little, Sephi. You hadn't even properly eaten your breakfast this morning," Nathan said to her.
Seraphina sighed and then reluctantly nodded at him. She looked down at her plate full of food. She didn't know why but her stomach was turning badly with the food's smell but it was perfectly cooked then why?
She tried to take a bite of the chicken but as soon as she tasted it, Seraphina felt like everything from her inside was ready to come out through her mouth. She immediately got up and cupped her mouth and ran towards the bathroom.
Everyone became stunned and Arzal hurriedly followed her. He saw her throwing up badly. He stepped inside the bathroom and rubbed her back to ease her down.
Seraphina emptied her stomach and then cleaned her mouth and washed her. Arzal helped her in getting out of the bathroom where everyone was waiting for them.
"Seraphina," Nathan stormed towards who was leaning against Arzal's chest as he was holding her.
"Sephi, what happened?" He asked, looking at her pale face. Her lips had turned chapped.
Seraphina opened her mouth to answer him but again felt like throwing up. She ran back inside the bathroom.
"Call her doctor immediately, Nathan," Arzal stated and again followed her inside the bathroom.
After half an hour, Seraphina was sitting on the bed, leaning her back against the pillow. She was feeling too low and weak now. Everyone was waiting for her outside as the doctor had told them to give them some privacy.
"From how long you're getting this nauseousness, Seraphina?" The doctor asked, checking her pulse.
"No, today is the first time," She answered the doctor.
"Are your monthly cycles late this month?"
Seraphina gulped and then recalled she hadn't gotten them this month. She shook her head.
"Yes, they haven't come this month yet,"
"Are you taking your contraception pills regularly?"
Now the bomb had blasted on her head. She understood what the doctor was trying to say. Her widened eyes gave the doctor her answer and the doctor's answer shook Seraphina till her core.
"I think, you're one month pregnant, Seraphina,"
Seraphina's soul left her body, hearing the doctor.
"I've taken your blood sample and will notify you about the results in the evening but I'm 99% sure that you've conceived,"
Seraphina was in no mood to reply back to the doctor because she was terrified and shocked.
"Take proper rest," The doctor said and left the room.
As soon as the doctor stepped out of the room, everyone surrounded her.
"Doctor, how's Seraphina?" Arzal asked, concerned. The doctor sighed before answering.
"Miss Miller is one month pregnant,"
Everyone turned frozen but Arzal, he had forgotten to breathe after hearing the doctor.
