DASTIEN
The silence felt awkward. I couldn't lock up uneasiness tight in an airless box. I wanted to cry.
My grief remained locked up tight in an airless box. My green eyes were full of fury. My throat threatened to clog. The pain inside my chest deepened when I recalled her in a shredded blouse and her blood covering her creamy skin. I ran in my wolf form, howling up at the cold moon in pure fury when I couldn't hold the pain.
The human girl is my mate. I was expecting a strong girl like Alessandro, he got Silver.
Anger and aggression took hold on me. Silver did this to her. My Alpha Packmates could feel my anger and fear. Anger that Silver should trust her mate, Alessandro. Fear - Fear of losing her. Dimitri wasn't certain that she would survive. But she was a survivor. We haven't completed the bound. I couldn't help her. Indeed, I didn't try to. She remained unconscious for a week. It took her a week to heal. I have seen her many times, smelled her scent. She didn't know anything. She didn't know anything about Mate.
A low growl left my chest. I sensed a lot of pain last week. I felt like a wounded animal.
"She's fine and demanding discharge." I sensed him before he spoke. He was the Alpha of the Red moon pack in North America. They're known for their aggressive nature. It was one of the nine big packs in the world.
"Ask Dimitri to grant it," I said, trying to keep anger away from my voice.
"You shouldn't hide yourself from her," Alessandro said, stopping at my side.
"She's not ready," I exhaled, my jaw tightened. I wanted to explain everything to her myself. I didn't wanna lose all my hopes.
"Try to befriend her," Alessandro suggested. It wasn't the first time he told me to do it.
I shook my head.
'My own fear of hurting her is holding me back. I am protective toward her, possessive like hell. She would be safe among nine Alphas. I'm called the strongest and cruellest Alpha in the world. I have a weakness. She's too weak to face me, my world and the danger that her position in my life would bring to her. I have forced myself to stay away from her. It's feeling like every second the half part of me is dying. I can feel the ripples of her happiness in my blood, her pain, agony, everything. Reluctantly, she is my mate. Our bond would be unbreakable in future. It has time.
"She feels for you the same way. You have felt it." Alessandro stared ahead at the view.
We were standing at the top of the hill.
I have felt her feelings, her love. I am not sure if she is aware of it or not.
Her tug toward me was noticeable with her gaze at me.
"She's weak." I could feel it inside me. I didn't wanna take risks.
Alessandro sighed next to me and nodded his head.
'She's unsettled, worried, scared.'
"Who's with her?" I asked.
"Daniel," He murmured.
I clenched my jaw. I wouldn't endure a strange man around her. She would be safe with Alphas. Daniel is one of them. I unbuttoned my shirt and removed it. I didn't need to explain my actions. The black shirt slid back. I rushed forward shifting in my wolf form. I glanced at the building behind him. I howled up at the sky.
