Alpha's Wife Hunt

Chapter 575

Ch. 575 / 840 May 06, 2026

Third person's POV

Jenny's face lit up with joy upon hearing Tabitha's request to eat.

Tabitha had barely had any appetite for the past week. So, this was a positive sign.

Little did Jenny know that Tabitha still didn't want to eat. She was forcing herself to, all for the sake of survival.

Watching Tabitha eat voraciously, Jenny felt very relieved, "Yes, eat more, the stronger your resistance will be."

Tabitha ate too quickly and felt nauseous, throwing up again.

Seeing her retching so painfully made Jenny feel heartbroken, "Luna Tabitha, maybe you should take a break?"

After drinking some water and calming down a bit, Tabitha continued to eat.

Many cancer patients in the later stages are unable to eat anything. The less they eat, the more their body's resistance declines and the more rampant the cancer cells become.

Tabitha ate, vomited, and then continued to eat again.

She had only one belief - she had to live.

Derek feared the most that Tabitha would give up on life and reject survival after regaining her memory.

Hearing Jenny's words, he reignited his hope. Her unwillingness to compromise with death was the best thing that could happen.

"Good, let me know immediately if anything happens to her."

"Alpha Derek, rest assured."

Tabitha's voice suddenly came from outside the door, "You can ask me directly about anything."

Derek looked towards the door to see Tabitha, calm and composed in her wheelchair, looking at him.

Jenny left. Derek, unsure of Tabitha's thoughts, proactively welcomed her in.

"Tabitha, I'm happy that you came to find me."

"I'm here to get my original phone back."

Derek's smile was tinged with bitterness, "Alright."

"And a bottle, the one you saw on the island before. I told you it was vitamins; can you have it sent over?"

"What's in that bottle?"

At that point, Tabitha didn't intend to hide it from him any longer, saying word by word, "I should have died two years ago. Do you know why I survived? It's because of the medicine Jasper gave me."

Tabitha's words were like a slap in the face for Derek. Everyone knew Tabitha had a terminal illness, yet he was the only one unaware, hurting her with all his might when she was at her weakest.

Derek was about to inform Kamp when he received a call from him, "Alpha Derek, good news. The dog food, oh, the medicine in the bottle you sent, all the components are anti-cancer! You should take it to Luna Tabitha as soon as possible."

"I already know."

Kamp promptly brought the medicine over. Tabitha took it without hesitation.

In the following time, she had no time to be at odds with Derek. She also knew her current situation.

The medicine could, at most, extend her life for a while. It couldn't heal her on its own.

If she wanted to survive, she couldn't rely on others. She had to save herself.

She immediately contacted Klein. But the phone never connected. If it were before, Tabitha wouldn't pursue further. But now, for the sake of her life, she didn't care as much and found the number for Dwayne Hartley.

The call connected. It was Dwayne's assistant who, upon hearing her name, quickly transferred the call to Dwayne.

"Tabitha, you're looking for me?"

His voice sounded a bit weary, but at least she got in touch.

"Dwayne, I have something important to discuss with Klein, but I can't reach him. Do you think you could help me get in touch with him?"

"Klein is temporarily having some health issues. You can just tell me. The Hartley family will do everything to repay your kindness."

"Dwayne, do you know about Wellness Corp?"
