Third person's POV
Orson continued to comfort, "Tabitha, you must pull yourself together. Don't let this incident affect you. You need to take care of yourself."
"Orson, I understand."
At that moment, her will to survive was stronger than ever. How could she willingly be manipulated like a puppet?
How could she tolerate falling into the meticulously designed conspiracies of others without resistance?
Tabitha's mind was filled with the faces of Joanna and the body of Tucker.
She vowed not to let the person behind the scenes succeed.
"Orson, let's proceed with our plan."
"Alright."
The news of Tabitha's incident caused a great uproar in the Greenwood family's villa, with all the servants kneeling in a row.
The autopsy report on Tucker was out. It died from a lethal poison.
The poison caused damage to its brain nerves, leading to the fall from the eaves and subsequent death.
Tucker, being an old dog, wouldn't eat just anything. The undigested chicken breast in its stomach was found to contain a lethal poison.
Daphne, sitting in a wheelchair, whose face was swollen, explained frantically, "Derek, I'm in this condition. How could I possibly get poison? That dog did play in my yard the other day. I didn't drive it away because Reid liked it. I had no idea it was Tabitha's dog. I didn't do it."
To prevent Daphne from causing trouble, her diet and daily activities were strictly controlled. With her limited mobility, she indeed had little chance to acquire poison.
The Greenwood family's villa was vast. Not every corner was under surveillance. Tucker was fed in a blind spot.
The person who fed it must be someone here.
Poisoning Tabitha directly was too difficult because her food was prepared specially. So they wanted to use the dog's death to stimulate her, attempting to hasten her demise.
This was nothing less than murder and soul destruction.
On the surface, it was Tucker who was poisoned. But the malicious intentions behind it were invaluable.
The most terrifying part was that someone dared to reach into the Greenwood family's villa right under his nose.
"No one is willing to admit it? Then keep kneeling until someone does!"
Before nightfall, someone stepped forward. She was a gardener who usually loved Tucker and could occasionally be seen scratching its back.
At that moment, she knelt in front of Derek, crying uncontrollably, "Alpha Derek, I really didn't know the chicken breast was poisoned. I loved Tucker so much. How could I harm it?"
"Where did the chicken breast come from?"
"It was from my neighbor Emma. She said puppies love chicken breast and that it was handmade and very clean."
"At that time, the chicken breast drying in the sun did look clean, so I took a pack back. I really didn't know it was poisoned."
Derek didn't expect these people to be so ruthless and pervasive.
"Alvin, check out this Emma."
Emma's social circle was simple, and the results came quickly. It turned out to be a young girl who instigated her to do it.
Alvin handed over a photo captured by a nearby surveillance camera, "Alpha Derek, no need to check. It was Elena who did it."
The surveillance image clearly showed Elena's face. She didn't even bother to cover up as if intentionally leaving a trace.
Derek clenched his fists, "She's using this method to tell me she wants Tabitha dead!"
The enmity between Derek and the Silver Moon Pack was already irreconcilable, and Elena was adding fuel to the fire.
To achieve her nefarious goals, she exhausted all despicable means. She was like a greedy demon in the dark, not missing any opportunity to sabotage them, ruthlessly dragging them into the abyss, making it impossible for him and Tabitha to reconcile.
"She's pushing me into a corner," Derek sighed helplessly.
Elena just wanted to destroy their relationship. So, she was ruthlessly pushing Tabitha into the abyss of hell.
