Alpha's Wife Hunt

Chapter 590

Ch. 590 / 840 May 06, 2026

Third person's POV

Derek had already made some progress and was roughly seventy percent certain that Tabitha was still alive. He would soon be able to locate her residence.

He remained composed on the surface and said, "Thank you."

Orson looked into Derek's eyes, which were bloodshot. His emaciated figure made it clear that every moment of these days had been torture for him.

The attendees of the funeral found it very strange that such a terrible event occurred at the funeral, and the Greenwood family did not stop it, even allowing Derek to kneel.

As the future heir of the Greenwood family, he was kneeling before his wife's tomb, unable to rise.

Time ticked by. As the sky darkened, Elena could no longer hold on and fainted.

Andrea rushed forward, "Derek, that's enough."

Derek looked at her, his forehead covered in coagulated blood. She was extremely weak.

For some reason, his mind conjured the image of Tabitha's pitiful appearance after chemotherapy.

What did this mean?

He gave a cold laugh, considering that others around them were speculating about their relationship. He glanced at Alvin, "Take her to get medical treatment."

Then, he continued to kneel in the funeral hall to repent.

This lasted for a day and a night.

Elena never expected to return to the Greenwood family's radar in such a manner.

She didn't know how long she had been unconscious before she slowly woke up.

As soon as she opened her eyes, she heard an anxious voice by her ear. "How are you feeling? Are you alright?"

She looked in the direction of the voice and saw Andrea, who was dressed in a black dress.

Andrea's face was full of concern, "Don't move. The doctor said you have a concussion and need to rest. You must be hungry after sleeping for so long. Would you like something to eat?"

Elena looked at the woman in front of her, her eyes somewhat dazed. The woman in front of her overlapped with a certain image in her memory, only she had never seen Andrea so gentle.

Elena opened her mouth and uttered a hoarse voice, "You..."

Hearing her voice, Andrea felt heartbroken and quickly got up, saying, "You must be thirsty. I'll get you some water."

She had never really taken care of a child in her life. This was the first time she was doing such a thing, and she was both excited and nervous. As a result, she was flustered and hadn't even picked up the kettle before kicking the chair leg and falling heavily.

Andrea quickly got up, refilled a cup of water, and brought it to Elena, "Elena, drink some water."

Elena felt as if she was dreaming.

Was this really the woman who was so aloof in the Black Thorn Pack?

Before, she always looked at her with a scrutinizing gaze, as if she was a superfluous existence.

Elena took a sip of water. Her head was still feeling dizzy and heavy, and she couldn't tell if this was reality or a dream.

After drinking water, Andrea called Jenny to bring Elena some food.

Andrea patiently and gently fed her. That was an experience Elena had never had before.

"Are you full?" Andrea wiped her lips.

Elena nodded, "I'm full. Don't you hate me?"

"I..."

At that moment, the door was pushed open. Derek, dressed in black, appeared at the door.

"If you're full, we can begin."

Elena looked at Derek, who seemed like the Grim Reaper returning from hell. His face was pale. He was expressionless and exuding a cold and stern aura.
