Sezal Arzia Grayson. Arzal had chosen the name for his daughter and Seraphina had chosen the middle name. Arzal was so happy when she told him that if their baby would be a girl, she wanted to give her his mother's name. So she came up with the middle name, Arzia for their daughter.
Seraphina got discharged from the hospital. They couple headed back to his home with their newborn. Everyone was waiting for their arrival in Arzal's house.
Seraphina stepped inside the mansion, carrying her little life in her arms but her eyes widened when she saw the scenario in front of her. The entire mansion was decorated with flowers, balloons, toys, teddies.
"A very beautiful welcome to our beautiful and brave mamma, Seph and her most beautiful daughter, Sezal,"
A wide smile formed on her face by watching Nevada, Nathan, Evelyn, Nicklaus and even the staff members. She tossed her head and looked at Arzal, who was standing beside her.
He smiled at her and pecked her forehead.
"A very warm, beautiful and blessed welcome to my Sera and my Sezal," He uttered, turning her smile more wide.
Arzal darted his eyes down and saw his daughter was peacefully sleeping in Seraphina's arms. His heart filled with calmness at the sight. She was the most ethereal being he had ever seen in his life.
"Hey, now.. Give Sezal to me. I want to play with her," Nevada said, excited.
"No, first me. I've never played with a newborn baby before, so it's my turn first," Evelyn whined.
"Yeah but for now, you both, keep your mouths shut. She's sleeping," Nicklaus stated, glancing at the baby, sleeping in Seraphina's arms.
"Everyone, silence please. The baby is sleeping so no noise," Nicklaus sushed everyone.
Seraphina and Arzal stepped inside the house. Everyone took a satisfying glance at the baby and their eyes filled with adoration and warmth.
"She's so adorable and beautiful," Evelyn said in a whispering tone.
"Indeed, she is. Her beauty is the perfect blend of Seraphina and Arzal's,"
The couple smiled at Nevada's remark until the baby slightly shifted in Seraphina's arms and then started weeping. Everyone's eyes widened.
Seraphina started gently swinging her baby in her arms and Sezal again went back to sleep. Everyone sighed a relief
"Take her to your room before her sleep gets disturbed again,"
Seraphina nodded at Nevada and then she took her daughter to their room and Evelyn also followed her to help her.
Nathan, who was wordlessly staring at everything, sighed heavily and turned around and got a little away from that place. Arzal, who noticed everything, followed Nathan.
Arzal stepped outside his mansion's main door and saw Nathan leaning against one of the trees of his mansion's garden. Arzal walked towards him and silently stood beside him.
They both were aware of each other's presence but didn't say anything to each other until Nathan exhaled a heavy breath.
"I had heard time changes fast but had never thought it would change so faster for me,"
Arzal heard Nathan who was staring above at the sky.
"There was a time when I was afraid that how this world would treat Seraphina if I ever leave her alone? Because I know she was unique. She used to think differently than all of us. In that fear, I had never left her alone to face this world. Not even a single step from the day, we both had lost our parents in that accident," Nathan said and with a sigh, finally looked at Arzal.
"Until she took that step on her own and got out of that protected cage which I had built around her and you came into her life,"
Arzal knew what exactly he meant by his words.
"I had never thought that I'd let my Sephi get associated with a man like you, especially my boss," Nathan uttered and chuckled weekly.
"I know this might sounds offending but the little did I know about you in the beginning, if it was in my control, I would have never even let you get into her life,"
Arzal sighed firmly at his words.
"I know I am not the best man you've ever met, Nathan. I never was and maybe I never will and the things I have done in my past makes me a terrible human,"
Nathan heard Arzal's every word, silently.
"I know I wasn't a terrible person to Sera in our past and even to you but I can assure you one thing, that I'll try my best to be a good father and a good husband for her and our daughter. I will try my best to be a good man to my family who will love and take care of them with his everything,"
Nathan smiled at his words because he could sense the honesty in his words. He knew Arzal loved Seraphina more than anything. He had witnessed it during her pregnancy phase and even from the day he got to know about them.
Nathan patted Arzal's shoulder and stated.
"I know. Remember, I had told you one day that I am trusting you with my Seraphina, now I can gladly say that I had trusted maybe not the best but the most right person with my sister," Nathan flashed him a beam.
"I know you will love and take care of my sister and your daughter with full sincerity and wholeheartedly,"
A smile formed on Arzal's face, at his words. He nodded before answering.
"I'll. I will, with my everything,"
Both the men shared a warm smile until
"Okay now share a hug for me, you both,"
Both the men snapped their heads and saw Seraphina, standing there, smiling at them.
"Give me a hug too," She opened her arms. With a smile, both the men hugged her and pecked her forehead together.
"I love you both so much. Thank you so much for being in my life," She said, beaming.
Both the mem smiled at her and caressed her head.
"We both love you too," They said in unison until
"SERAPHINA,"
Everyone tossed their heads and saw a panicked Nevada.
"What happened, Neva?" Seraphina asked.
"Seph, Sezal... "
"What happened to Sezal?" Seraphina sounded terrified as she had left Sezal with Evelyn, Nevada and Nicklaus because she was sleeping and she came out to see Nathan and Arzal.
Nathan and Arzal's heartbeat had dropped, hearing and watching Nevada until
"She smiled at me,"
Everyone's eyes widened, hearing Nevada who now was dancing in happiness.
"What?"
"Yes, Nate. She woke up from her sleep and started crying and as soon as she saw me, she stopped crying and started smiling and she is so beautiful. Her eyes.. are exceptionally ethereal,"
Everyone sighed a breath of relief.
"You scared the shit out of us, Neva," Arzal scolded her. Nevada frowned.
"I didn't scare you. I myself was panicking in happiness after watching her smiling at me, so I came to share it with you all. Bye, I'm going again, otherwise, Evelyn and Nick will manipulate her against me," Is all she said, before running inside the mansion.
"Sezal has got an amazing friend and aunt. Neva would be her perfect partner," Arzal chuckled and everyone smiled and then went inside the mansion.
Arzal stepped inside the room and saw Evelyn, Nicklaus and Nevada were playing with his daughter who in return was smiling at them.
He walked towards them and uttered
"Hey, now it's my turn to play with my Sezal,"
"Come on, Grayson, she is going to be with you forever. Let us play now, please. You can play with her in the evening," Nicklaus said, making funny faces to Sezal.
"No, she would sleep soon then with whom, I'll play, with your ugly a#s?" Arzal spat.
"Language, Mr Grayson. No bad words in front of Sezal," Seraphina shot him a glare. He chuckled while holding his ears to his daughter.
"I'm sorry, baby. Please forgive your dad,"
Sezal threw her hands in happiness and smiled more while staring at her father.
"Look at her, it's looking like she has already become her daddy's girl," Evelyn commented.
"Yeah.. Why won't she? After all, her mamma Seph also listens to her daddy Arzal always?" Nevada remarked, smirking.
Arzal coughed whereas Nicklaus sighed whereas Evelyn chuckled and there stood Seraphina, who didn't even understand it.
"Okay, ladies and gentlemen. I apologise for my remark," Nevada laughed and then Nathan joined them.
"Hey, now let me play with my Sezal. It's my turn now," He whined, causing everyone to chortle.
Seraphina saw Nathan playing with her daughter and then she trailed her eyes at Arzal, who was already looking at her. This was pure bliss, watching everyone happy. This was more than they both had bargained for, in this journey of theirs.
