Seraphina was completely quiet while she was browsing her phone. On the other hand, he was driving. He noticed how skillfully she was ignoring him like he didn't even exist.
He frowned but then his phone beeped. He checked it and sighed.
"We've to stop by my company. I need to attend an urgent meeting," He told her.
Seraphina heard him but didn't reply and not even looked at him. She continued using her phone.
He scoffed. She was really very stubborn, more than him. He too didn't utter anything further and drove to his company.
Seraphina stepped out of his car and glanced at that huge luxurious building before her. The memory was still fresh in her mind of how her life had completely changed in that same place.
"Let's go,"
Her trance broke at his voice. She looked at him and with a sigh, followed him inside the company.
"Good morning, Mr Grayson," Each and every person greeted him but he just nodded at them. How rude. Seraphina thought, who was following him like a puppy.
People were staring at her too. Some confused, some with questionable gazes which made her nervous. Seraphina got more close to him and tried her best to hide herself beside his burly body which didn't go unnoticed by him.
Arzal completely understood her fear and discomfort, so he held her palm in his, making her startled and then roamed his steel grey eyes everywhere which made everyone to drop their gazes and mind their own business.
He took her to his private cabin.
"I need half an hour for this meeting to get done with. Stay here and call me if you need my help for anything. Okay?" He told her.
Seraphina nodded, making him turn around to leave but he stopped.
"Best of luck for your meeting,"
Arzal turned around, hearing her soft sweet voice and saw her staring at him. She didn't even know how to stay mad. How adorable and innocuous, he wondered.
Arzal walked towards her and then pecked her forehead.
"My luck is already here with me," He rasped, filling her tummy with butterflies.
She blushed and looked down. He smiled and caressed her cheek.
"Call me immediately if you need me. Okay, Sera?"
She nodded with a soft beam and then he left.
Seraphina placed her school bag on the sofa and roamed her eyes everywhere. A soft smile started playing on her face when she recalled her chocolate cookies incident. How fast things had changed for her.
Seraphina walked towards the huge glass wall and looked outside through it. The view was beautiful and endearing.
She was enjoying the view when Seraphina felt a painful stinging sensation in her lower abdomen. Her brows arched in pain. More than a week was left for her to get her period then why it was hurting her now.
Her stomach again twisted. Seraphina decided to go to the bathroom and checked it. She went to the bathroom which was present inside his cabin.
After checking herself, she came out. No, she hadn't gotten her cycles then why her tummy was hurting. Perhaps it was the fast food she had eaten today in her school cafeteria today.
Seraphina exhaled sharply. She didn't know why she started feeling tired, so she went towards his sofa and sat on it.
After a couple of minutes of looking here and there, she closed her eyes and leaned her head back on the sofa and closed her eyes. The sofa was too soft and comfortable for her to settle in. So when she fell asleep, she didn't even notice.
Seraphina woke up from her sleep with a sharp pain shooting in her lower region. She immediately got up from the sofa and her eyes widened by watching those deep red blood patches on that pale white sofa.
She looked at her white skirt and it was also stained with blood. Panic rose over her. How did she become this careless? And why did she get her period so early? It had never happened with her before.
Seraphina tried to clean the stain with her handkerchief but her abdomen started twisting in pain, badly. Her cycles were never so painful then why this time ? And even she could feel the bleeding was heavy and unusual.
Her eyes watered. She didn't know what to do. She immediately opened her school bag and took out her sanitary napkin which she always kept there for safety measures.
She tried to get up but hissed when her stomach again ached. Seraphina took her step to walk towards the bathroom but she halted when she noticed the door of the cabin opened and he stepped in.
Seraphina immediately hid that sanitary napkin behind her and tried to hide those stains on the sofa and on her skirt. She downcast her eyes and gulped.
Arzal walked towards her and spoke.
"Let's go. I'll drop you to... . " He stopped when he noticed something unusual in her presence.
She was squeezing her thighs and was even shivering.
"Sera, what happened?" He asked and she just shrugged her head, still looking down.
His brows wiggled in confusion. He knew she was lying. He noticed she was hiding something from him behind her back. He stepped closer to her.
"Se... " He stopped when his eyes fell on those blood stains on the sofa.
His gaze enlarged. He immediately reduced the distance between them and held her arm.
"Sera, are you hurt somewhere? What happened?" He tensed up but she didn't take her eyes up.
Arzal palmed her face and made her look upward. He became more worried, watching her glossy eyes.
"Hey! Tell me, what happened, Princess? Why are you crying?" He asked and then saw her slowly taking out her hand from her behind.
He finally understood the matter by watching the thing she was holding.
"I.. I am sorry," She breathed out, tearing up more.
Arzal sighed and cupped her face. His gaze softened.
"Why didn't you call me, Sera?"
She shrugged her head and answered.
"I am early this month and I don't know why. This has never happened before,"
He uttered while wiping her tears.
"Do you need my help with anything?" He didn't know how to deal with that situation but tried his best.
Seraphina shook her head and went to the bathroom. He noticed the stains on her skirt, which made him sigh.
