Seraphina was walking towards his room. She had checked his study room but he wasn't there, so she assumed at that time of the night, he would be in his room if he wasn't there.
She thought, to meet him in the morning but they both barely used to have time in the morning to talk, especially when she had to get ready for her school and him, for his office. So, she decided to give it a try right now, otherwise everything would turn messed up.
He couldn't fire Ryan like this, especially because of her. He wasn't at fault, in fact nobody was at fault. It was just the situation. Seraphina was concerned about Ryan's job because he had told her once that he had a little sister and his mother, who was ill. He was his family's only earner, so how would he cope up with his sudden loss of job. That thought turned her restless and she decided to have a talk with Arzal.
She halted before his huge wooden door. Seraphina had never visited his room before and that thing even made her more nervous.
She restrained herself from knocking because everything was quiet. Everybody must be sleeping and even he would too. So she thought, if the door was locked then she would go back.
But to her fate, as she pushed it, the door opened. With a gulp, Seraphina pushed the door more and after sighing, she stepped inside.
His room's lights were dimmed, almost dark. His room was huge and more magnificent, as compared to other rooms in the mansion.
Seraphina's eyes darted towards his huge bed which was empty. He wasn't there.
"Mr G.. Grayson," Her voice stuttered. She didn't know why.
Seraphina got no reply. Her eyes wandered everywhere in search of him but he wasn't there.
Seraphina sighed and decided to leave. She turned around but her breathing halted by watching him standing in front of the door. In the dark, she couldn't clearly see his reaction but her eyes enlarged, noticing he was shirtless and he was holding a glass of something in his hand. Her heart inflated, realising he was drinking.
Her throat dried up, as he stepped a little forward to her. His face finally became visible to her. His hair was messed up. His eyes were looking cavernous and inky and even a bit scary too.
"What are you doing here?" His voice was more huskier than usual.
Seraphina immediately looked down and cursed herself for thinking about coming to meet him, at that time. Her desperate self couldn't just wait for the morning.
"I.. I want to talk to you," Her voice, more soft and low.
"About what?" He asked.
He was scary and his presence was scarier than him. She was feeling like a little kitten, about to be slaughtered in front of his beasty presence.
"About Ryan," She answered, gathering her all courage but immediately regretted it, when he stepped closer to her.
"And what's there to talk about him?" His voice fell more octaves down.
"Why d.. did you fire him?" She asked, still looking down but her heartbeat accelerated when he reduced the rational distance between them.
"Because I am his boss and I've every f#cking right to do so," He uttered and she understood the extreme amount of warning, lacing in his voice.
Now that thing angered her. Seraphina took her eyes up and finally looked into those firm grey eyes which were looking completely displeased at her topic of talk
"Even if you're his boss, you didn't have the right to fire him from his job just because of that small and stupid reason," She spat and noticed the displeasure in his eyes was now turning into anger.
"I've told you earlier that, that small and stupid reason was enough for me to take his f#cking life but here I just have taken his job but how do you know about this?" He asked, gazing into her eyes.
Seraphina gulped when he took a step closer to her, almost brushing their bodies. He bent his head lower.
"Did you contact him?" His words were like venom to his tongue.
Her body shivered in fear but she decided not to show it to him.
"No, I haven't but I'll if I've to," She showed him her bravery but it left her immediately when he grabbed her waist and slammed her on his naked chest.
"Then before that, I'll burn that ba#tard to ashes," He glared into her eyes which widened in horror, hearing him.
"What's wrong with you? How could you even think about hurting someone so easily and brutally?" She questioned him, both hurt and angry.
"It's so easy for you to think about taking someone's life. Just think about their pain and hurt?"
He didn't reply but just peered at him.
"You consider me important in your life, don't you? Then what if someday, someone kill m..." She shut her mouth, when she heard the glass he was holding had broken in his palm.
Seraphina looked at those shattered pieces, slipping from his grip. Her eyes widened in panic.
She trailed her bewildered eyes at him and a shiver ran down her spine, watching that deadly havoc playing in his eyes.
"Y... "
Her words stuck in her mouth when he slammed his lips on her and started kissing her harshly.
She flinched at his sudden act of aggressiveness. She didn't try to push him away because she knew he would never let her escape, which she didn't even want herself.
After satisfyingly tainting her lips, he pulled back. His gaze was burning. His eyes, hooded. Sera had turned into a breathing mess because of his harshness.
He tugged her more close, pressing her body against his.
"Till the day I'm breathing, your heart has to beat, Sera. Your life has to live and I'll make sure about it," The determination and promise was evident in his gaze and words that he would fight against, even destiny for her.
For a brief moment, she just gazed into his eyes, until.
"You can't win against your fate," She breathed out, as her eyes started watering because Seraphina had finally identified the extreme fear in his eyes of losing her. He was terrified of losing her which he was trying to mask with his anger.
"I'll, Seraphina," He groaned, taking his face closer to her.
"I don't know about fate but you're my destiny. A destiny I've f#cking made and choosen and nothing can part my destiny from me, not at any cost,"
She was speechless by his madness. His obsession for her was terrifying but yet it was the most safest and beautiful thing she had ever felt.
Without uttering anything further, their eyes devoured each other for a while, until he lost his hold on himself and smashed his lips over hers and this time, she gave up to him and wrapped her arms around his back because yes, she was his only destiny and he was her forbidden destination.
