Their hands were intertwined. Seraphina was following him like a little kid. They both entered a place, which Seraphina guessed was some sort of cafe or restaurant but it wasn't a luxurious or something grand restaurant . It was small and looked beautiful and calm from inside. A kind of place, she loved.
"Arzal," An old woman at the counter said with a big grin on her wrinkled face.
Seraphina became confused, especially when he returned the gesture with a little smile too. He was smiling at that old lady, which was something very rare for her to witness.
"How are you, son?" The lady asked, maintaining her bright smile. He nodded
"So you've brought a beautiful guest today?" The lady's eyes shifted to Seraphina, who was staring at her with her wide azure eyes.
Arzal looked at Seraphina and grinned.
"Yes and bring your sweetest and most chocolatey cookies and pastries for this beautiful guest," He uttered, admiring the beauty of her eyes.
"Coming right away. Please have a seat," The lady chuckled and he also nodded with a smile.
"Come," He took Seraphina with him and made her sit on a chair.
Seraphina was still bewildered about the things happening around her and her confusion was evident in her cute tiny pout.
"That old lady is Clara. She used to work in my school's cafeteria and I had become fond of her food because she makes the most delicious food," He told her, making her astonished.
"Then she started this cafeteria, quite some years ago and I like to come here to free my mind and eat her handmade food,"
A soft smile formed on her face, hearing him. He was opening up to her about his life. That was a beautiful development for both of them.
"So I thought to give you a taste of her food," He smiled and she beamed too.
"Here you go. Enjoy the food, my children," The old woman spoke, serving the pastries and cookies to them.
"Thank you," Seraphina said, smiling. The woman patted her head and left grinning.
"Eat and then tell me how's it?"
Seraphina nodded, excited and started eating.
"Yummy, it was so tasty," She stated, licking her lips, after getting done finishing her food.
He chuckled at her cute reaction and said.
"Do you want some more?"
She immediately shrugged her head.
"No, my tummy is full," She rubbed her hand on her tiny abdomen. He beamed and nodded.
They both left the cafeteria after he made the payment and packed some of the pastries and cookies, for his azure eyes enchantress because he knew she liked it very much.
They both were about to sit in his car when Seraphina stopped, making him stop too. He looked at her, confused because that bothered expression had again engulfed her face.
"Sera," His voice was gentle. His gaze was soft.
"What's bothering you, Princess? Tell me,"
Seraphina sighed and clutched his hand tightly.
"What I'm going to answer if somebody asks me where I went last night and why?" She finally told him her concern because she was worried about the questions, going to raise at her, of her disappearance, from the party last night.
Arzal sighed. So that was what, bothering her. He placed his palm over her cheek.
"You don't have to answer anyone, Sera, because nobody is going to dare you to ask any questions," He tried to lessen her worriness.
She shook her head and said.
"Still, what if Nevada or Mrs. Grayson asked me anything about what I was doing with you, last night?"
"Then tell them what we had done last night and this morning," He smirked.
Seraphina's cheeks heated up. She scoffed, making him laugh.
"What? Tell them, you were enjoying your private moments with your new boyfriend," He spoke.
Her heart skipped a beat at his statement.
"You're not my b.. boyfriend," She stuttered, making him raise his brow.
"Really?" He took a step closer, making her gulp.
"Then what am I to you, Miss Seraphina Miller?" He asked, looking into her nervous eyes.
"You're Nate's head boss," She answered, earning a smirk from him.
He leaned closer to her and rasped.
"With whom you had sex thrice, Miss Miller,"
Her eyes enlarged. Her breathing hitched at his audacious words. She tilted her head, only to find those mischievous grey eyes staring at her with an evil sinfulness in them for her, turning her cheeks more pink.
Seraphina frowned and glared at him.
"Pervert devil," She groaned, earning a chuckle from him.
Seraphina opened his car's door and got inside, after sending him an angry glare. He also followed her and then they drove away.
In The Evening, Seraphina was talking to her brother on the video call.
"Yes, Nate. I'm fine. Mr Grayson and everyone is also fine," She told him, snuggling into her Tinnie's tummy on bed.
"When will your work be done? I'm missing you," Her voice dwelled up.
"Sephi, I'm missing you too, my angel and just a couple more weeks then I'll be there with you,"
Seraphina sighed hearing her brother.
"Are you fine there?"
"I'm completely fine here, angel. Mr Grayson has made sure about it entirely. He even arranged security for me and I don't know why. I asked him but he told me it's just for my security reasons as I am in a different country," Nathan uttered.
Seraphina knew why he had provided him with security. He had already told her about all of this because she had requested him to keep her brother safe, no matter what and he was making sure of it.
"Okay then, good night and sleep well. I'll call you in the morning, okay?"
"Ok. Good night, Nate. Take care. Love you," She told him.
"Love you too, Sephi,"
Seraphina hung up the call and then hugged her Tinnie. She kissed its cheek and snuggled her face into its soft furs.
"That evil prince is a very pervert devil, Tinnie," She giggled and blushed to herself. She was really turning insane more than she already was, she thought.
Seraphina was about to sleep when her phone rang again. She looked at it and saw Nicklaus's number flashing on it.
"Hello," She said, picking up the call.
"Hey, Seraphina. How do you do, cutie?" He asked. She smiled and replied.
"I'm good, Nick. Is everything alright? I mean, you're calling at this time and.. "
"No, no, everything is fine. Just wanted to check on you after what happened last night,"
Seraphina exhaled sharply, hearing him but then something immediately caught her attention.
"Nick, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, sure,"
"How's Ryan? I don't have his contact number. Do you know where he is because last night he... "
"I know everything, Seraphina, and Ryan is fine,"
She breathed out in relaxation, until
"But don't try to contact him, Seraphina," The warning in his voice was evident.
"Because we both know how Arzal is and how he is going to react to it if you try to contact Ryan, especially when Arzal has fired him from his job and has warned him to stay away from you. It will cause problems between you both and even for Ryan, if you try to contact him which I guess you wouldn't want,"
Seraphina became shocked.
"He has fired Ryan?" She asked, startled.
"Yes and I'll suggest you not to get involved in any of this anymore," He told her.
Seraphina suspired and spoke
"Nick, I'll talk to you later. I've to do something. Bye bye, " She uttered and hung up.
Seraphina got up from the bed and pulled down her shorts. With an angry scowl on her face, she straight made her way to those devious grey eyes.
