"You and Rebecca set me up to destroy me?" He was shocked, most especially at Rebecca's behavior. She was like one of his most trusted staff.
"She didn't want to help me. I know one of her secrets which I threatened her with. I also swore that the pill wouldn't harm you in any way. She didn't want to do it. I was the one who talked her into it."
"You have a habit of staying hydrated so she must have mixed it with your water or drink. I told her to help execute the plan an hour before you left the office."
"She must have done so when Caleb and I were having our little wine party in the office. You doing something like this to me is very expected but I'm beyond disappointed in Rebecca. Despite all the good I've done for her and her family, she decided to sell me out? She's going to regret ever messing with me."
Apparently, about an hour before Colt left the office yesterday, Caleb walked in, saw his brother was in a good mood and Colt had no choice but to tell him the reason why (His surprise for Mia). So they decided to celebrate over a glass of red wine. Rebecca was the one who went to get the wine.
"She never wanted to do it. I was the one who threatened her. I told her there was no harm involved."
"Just shut the fuck up! She's no different from you. Heaven knows what she must have been doing behind my back with other people who want to see my downfall."
"She didn't open the wine until she got to my office. I remember going to my window to receive a call while she was serving us and Caleb, the phone addict, was typing away so she got away with it. You both will regret ever messing with me!" Colt said.
"And how the hell did you get hold of me? I remember coming out of the office in good shape, driving to my apartment, but I can't seem to remember anything after that!" Colt said furiously.
Natasha nodded. "Every move of yours was properly calculated. I was already downstairs when you arrived from the office. As at that point, you had started feeling weak so you had no choice but to allow me to assist you upstairs. And then everything went down." She sniffed.
"You mean, you raping me?" He challenged.
"We both wanted it, Colton. We both had fun."
"Oh please shut that fucking mouth of yours. You think I would have wanted it if I was sane? I can't even stand your presence on a normal day, hearing your name makes me want to puke and to know that we had sex? You have no idea how disgusted I feel with myself. I'm definitely suing you for this!"
"Please don't sue me, Colton. I don't want to go to jail. I know you hate me right now but please consider my parents who have been childhood friends with your parents. My mother has been under the weather lately and hearing something like this will trigger her health." Natty cried harder.
Actually, Natasha was the only biological child of her parents. Her parents got married very early, way before Colton's parents but it took them a while to get pregnant. Natty's mom had a couple of miscarriages, they gave up on childbearing and decided to adopt Aiden. A few years later, they miraculously conceived and gave birth to Natasha.
Aiden McGregor was the one running the McGregor family company. He was married already with a kid.
"Oh, so you deeply care about your parents? Where were your goddamn senses when you were formulating and carrying out your useless plan? Why didn't you think of your parents when you were raping me?"
Natasha had no answer. All she did was cry.
"Where's my phone?" He asked her, wanting to call his lawyer.
"Please, Colt, don't do this to me."
"Where is my phone?" He asked again with a dangerous voice.
Knowing what Colton was now capable of doing, she felt it was better not to annoy him the more. She told him where his phone was. It was in the drawer by the nightstand.
Colt went there, picked up the phone, unlocked it, and went to the call section where he had tons of missed calls. 53 missed calls from Mia, 8 missed calls from Hailey, and 14 missed calls from the planner he hired to help him out with the surprise he had for Mia.
Colton cursed, running his fingers through his messy hair. The last missed call from Mia was at 10 pm yesterday. He could only imagine how disappointed she must be. He had no idea what excuse he was going to give her when he came face to face with her.
Colt was about to locate his lawyer's number When something caught his attention. An outgoing video call from him around past 10 pm last night.
He looked at Natasha in horror. "Did you by any chance facetime Mia?" Even though the evidence was right there on his phone, a part of him was wishing she didn't. He knew it was over between himself and Mia if she came to know that something happened between himself and Natasha.
Natty's mouth quivered. "She wouldn't stop calling"
"For fuck's sake, Natasha!!!!!" Colton groaned. "Why are you so bent on ruining my life? What did I do to you to deserve this? Drugging and Raping me isn't enough, you had to call my woman to traumatize her????!!!!"
"I'm sorry!" She cried.
"Stop saying you're sorry because you do not mean it!!!! You are nothing but EVIL. You have no heart at all. People like you are meant to rot in Jail, in HELL!!!!!"
"You've been jealous of Mia since you got to know about her. And I'm sure as hell that over the video call, you told her nothing but lies. I'm sure you made her believe I was really into you and I'm only using her. Didn't you?"
Natty nodded in shame.
"If you were Mia and someone did exactly what you did to her, would you still want to associate yourself with me?"
Natasha did not respond.
"You do things irrationally. You act like everything in life revolves around you. You hurt people at every opportunity you get. If you were Colton Royal and some manic who you hate raped you and caused havoc between you and your woman, how would you feel?"
"Dude, Mia and I have come a long way, I worked so hard to earn her trust and now you've destroyed everything. Myself, Mia and yourself are now miserable. Happy? Satisfied?"
Natasha sniffed. She got on her knees.
"Forgive me, Colt. Please forgive me. I promise I won't come between you and Mia again. I can talk to Mia if you want. I'll let her know I'm at fault."
"I'm not letting this slide. Never! You'll be punished for your actions. My lawyer will take the matter up and I will love to see you behind bars. I'll remember to tell my lawyer to ensure you see a doctor to flush out everything in your system. I'm not risking you carrying my flesh and blood. You're a very terrible person and no innocent soul should bear the pains of having you as its mother. I honestly feel so sorry for your parents but I'm not going to let you go scot-free on this one."
Colton dialed his lawyer and was on the phone with him for a few minutes explaining all that had happened. While he did that, Natty got a hold of herself, reached for her clothes that were scattered across the room, and put them on.
Ending the call, he turned his attention to her. "Apparently, my lawyer will have to do a few paperwork before the police will come for you. I should have kept you with me so they will come to get you here but I've got more important things to do. Your presence disgusts me, and most importantly, I'm afraid I might kill you myself before they get here."
"In case you are planning to escape being arrested, I'll tell you for free that it's going to be the dumbest decision you will ever make. Now get the fuck out of my home!"
Natasha was about to say something but swallowed her words when Colt threw her a deadly glare. He was sure she wanted to apologize and he didn't want to hear it.
Wiping her face with the back of her palm, She reached for her purse on the couch in his room and took her leave.

The moment she was out of sight, Colton dialed Mia's number but it didn't go through. He exhaled, ran a hand through his hair as he dialed it for the second time. It went straight to voicemail and he thought of dropping her a voice message.
"Mia, I'm so sorry about yesterday. I swear to you that it's not what you think. Everything that Natasha told and showed you was a lie. It's part of her plan to cause trouble for us. Please, love, don't push me away." He paused, then spoke."You should know by now that I can't live without you. I promise to explain everything to you when we see. Take care, I love you!" He ended the voice message. This was the first time saying the three big words to her.
Worried that things had probably gone beyond his control, he called Hailey. It rang but she didn't pick. He dialed her number again and got the same response. "No doubt I'm in some deep shit." He said, placing his phone on the edge of the bed.
Massaging his forehead which was still aching him, Colt proceeded to his cabinet in the bathroom, took out some pills from their respective bottles, then gulped them down with half a glass of water. He was still feeling a little weak and his head was still aching. He really hoped the painkillers would help reduce all the pains he was feeling.
Colton undressed and got into the shower, scrubbing himself really well. He honestly felt disgusted with his body because of all that Natty did to him but he knew that now wasn't the time for self-pity. He needed to see Mia and he planned to go straight to her place once he was done dressing up. He really hoped she would give him a chance to explain himself because he wasn't ready to lose her.
