"Let her go!" Anabel looked back and to her greatest shock, it was Sylvester. She was surprised on how he just appeared from nowhere.
"And who are you to tell me what to do?" The leader asked.
"The one who can make you regret ever touching her." Sylvester replied.
"I will give you a chance to leave. This is non of your business man. Unless you want to join her." The leader said.
"That's my girlfriend and she's coming with me." Sylvester declared. "I won't let you take her."
"You called for this young man. I'm not to be blamed." The leader said and turned to his boys. "Waste him."
With their weapons on their hands, they began to walk towards Sylvester. Anabel was scared and yelled at Sylvester. "Run! You can't fight them! They will kill you!" She tried to break free from the leader's hand but she couldn't.
One of the boys sneered at Sylvester's challenge and launched forward. Sylvester sprang into action and delivered a powerful uppercut as he tried to hit him with an iron rod. The punch sent him landing with his back on the hard floor.
The second guy rushed to hit him with stick. He caught hold of it as if it was nothing, pulled the guy forward and hit with with a devastating crossline on the chest.
The other two guys realized they were facing a formidable opponent, and lunged at Sylvester. Sylvester moved swiftly, dodging their blows and countering them with his own moves.
He delivered a swift kick to the first attacker, sending him sprawling to the floor. The second attacker swung at Sylvester with a chain, but Sylvester ducked under the swing and delivered an uppercut that left the man reeling.
Anabel watched in fear and amazement as Sylvester fought off her assailants with incredible skill. Despite their numbers, the kidnappers were no match for Sylvester's strength and fighting skills. The third attacker who he had beaten earlier tried to tackle Sylvester from behind, but Sylvester spun around and caught him with a knee to the stomach, knocking him down.
The first attacker saw that his comrades had been wasted and hesitated for a moment before charging at Sylvester with a wild swing. Sylvester blocked him with his forearm and retaliated with a punch to the guy's temple, sending him crashing to the ground.
The leader of the group freed Anabel to beat Sylvester. He, lunged at Sylvester, but Sylvester was always ready. He sidestepped the attack and delivered a powerful punch that sent the leader collapsing to the pavement.
Sylvester surveyed the scene while breathing heavily, making sure all the attackers were incapacitated.
He turned to Anabel, who was trembling but unharmed. "Are you okay?" he asked and Anabel nodded. "Yes, thank you so much. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't shown up."
Sylvester smiled."You don't need to thank me. It's my priority to make sure you are okay. I can sacrifice my life to protect you. My life will be meaningless without you."
Anabel smiled at his words and hugged him. That was when she noticed that he sustained a few minor injuries during the fight. His knuckles were bruised, and there was a small cut on his forehead. "I think you need to go to the hospital."
