Desmond saw her kissing Sylvester

She had been hurt before, and the idea of opening herself up to someone new was daunting. But Sylvester's words were convincing, and his sincerity seemed genuine.

"I don't know, Sylvester." she said quietly. "It's a lot to consider."

"I know it's a big decision. I understand how you are feeling." Sylvester said tightened his grip on her hand slightly. "But think about it. I will show you how it feels like to be loved. I will show you the love you always fantasize. I will cherish you and your baby. We could be a family and live happily ever after."

Anabel's mind began to race, thinking about his confessions. She had to admit, the idea of having someone to share her life with, someone who would care for her and her child, was appealing. But she couldn't shake the nagging doubt that gnawed at her.

"Sylvester, I need to be sure that this is what you truly want." She said with a mean voice. "I can't go through another heartbreak."

Sylvester's heart began to pound in his chest. He knew this was the moment of truth but the truth won't do any good to him. Telling her the truth was just like telling her his plans. He had to convince her, to make her believe that he was sincere.

He leaned forward. "Anabel, I swear to you with my life, I want nothing more than to be with you. I will do whatever it takes to prove it to you. Like I said, My life is incomplete without you. Just give me a chance and I will show you what is love and how it feels like."

Anabel took a deep breath and opened her mouth to say something but he couldn't say anything. She knew she was about to take risk, but something inside her told her to take a leap of faith. She nodded slowly and Sylvester watched as a small smile formed on her lips.

"Alright, Sylvester. I will be your girlfriend." She finally accepted.

Sylvester's heart soared with triumph. He had finally done it. He had convinced her to be his girlfriend. Now, all he had to do was maintain the facade and reap her slowly.

"I'm the happiest person on earth like now. I feel like all my desires in life have been accomplished." Sylvester said. Only if she knew the main reason behind his happiness. In his mind, he just secured his ticket to wealth.

"I'm happy too. To meet someone that loves me even though I'm carrying another man's child."

"Can I get a hug?" Sylvester stood up

"Why not." Anabel stood up and for the very first time, she hugged him. Their body were pressing against themselves. It was a romantic one.

Just then, Desmond and Daniella showed up. Desmond was the first to see them. He felt something hit his heart like an arrow and felt a surge of jealousy wash over him immediately.

He tried to look away, but his eyes were drawn back to them. He was unable to tear himself from the scene unfolding before him as they walk. Anabel was smiling as they were embrace together. Desmond had once been the one making her smile like that.

Why was he still feeling like this? He had moved on, he was engaged to Daniella and they are about to wed, and yet the sight of Anabel with another man stirred something deep within him. It felt as if a piece of his heart was still tethered to her, a piece he had thought was long buried.

Then it happened. Anabel kissed Sylvester on the lips. It was a tender, gentle kiss, yet to Desmond, it felt like a dagger to his heart. Anabel had saw him looking and decided to give him a show and kissed Sylvester.

His hands clenched into fists, jealousy boiling within him. It was irrational, he knew, but he couldn't help it. He felt as if Anabel was cheating on him, as if she was still his to claim.
